I was stuck on 95 south and these guys went above and beyond to get what I needed and even delivered it to me! I was on my way in a few hours, no tow needed thanks to the guys at advanced westerly! Will always use them. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate them. 10/10

Terrible customer service I went in the older guy with glasses didn’t even look at me nor acknowledge me and my wife continued to walk around go to the back and shout for some other employee for some type of order and then they both came out and didn’t acknowledge me for like the third time so me and my wife just decided to leave. All I needed was some spark plugs.n

I had a bad injector, and they helped me order to the store. Good price and timely. Great customer service, went above and beyond to help me out of a jam.

I bought a motorcycle battery from them It was dead, right off the shelf. Wouldn’t give me my money back or my old battery to turn into another place. Good thing AutoZone is right next-door To get an actual battery that works. I’m out out aTo get an actual battery that works. I’m out $114. Don’t go there

Came in during the middle of a rain storm after my wiper blade on the driver side broke. Due to the configuration I had trouble installing them. Scott, the general manager came out in the rain and helped me install my blades. I was able to get back on the road. Would highly recommend using this facility for any and all automotive problems.

The staff is nice. If you call ahead to check inventory, they will hold your part at the register. They install wiper blades for free if purchased there.

5 stars only because of Chris. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. More than once I had automotive problems that multiple stores gave me wrong advice, and advised me to buy the wrong part. Stopped in to see Chris, and within 5 minutes left with the right part and the right advice. Now I ask Chris first on almost everything. Saves me time and money. Without Chris I would rate 3 stars. With Chis Advanced is the only place I go. Chris is the most valuable tool Advanced has.

My husband went in on Thursday evening and the man working there was extremely rude and not helpful at all. He has had this man wait on him before and he has been rude other times also. Probably won’t do business there again.

It will let the store know about their shortcomings and help us improve the customer experience. We hope in time you give the store another chance to provide you with the service you deserve. Thank you for choosing Advance Auto Parts. So I guess I can update this review with feedback as requested. Well there was not really any shortcomings with the store. Its just an auto parts store and now a days it seems there is one on every corner. But I have to say that the person (google says the owner) responding to the reviews has to do more to pay attention to the reviews a bit more. The biggest shortcoming is that you indicated that it is the Portsmouth location, no where did my review indicate it was a review for the Portsmouth store and Google did not indicate it either. I doubt a bot would have even got this wrong, so if it really is the owner of Advance Auto Parts I will probably need to shop at a different auto parts store because the owner of a business should pay more attention to detail. So there are the shortcomings and I would say you should report it to the corporate, not the Portsmouth store leadership team. By the way a 3 star review in my opinion is average not outstanding nor poor. The store had what I needed and that was it.

Following the need of a jumpstart in the Walmart parking lot the other day, I called Advance Auto Parts to see if they had one in stock,as well as someone there who could install it for me. Given a yes to both questions, I headed over there and met Steven who couldn’t have been more helpful. He had terrific customer service skills and had the new battery installed within minutes of my arrival. It was a positive experience and Advanced Auto Parts has gained a new customer. Thank you Steven for a job well done!

Tonight, I went to have a free engine diagnostic reading for my vehicle because one of the lights went on. They lent me the machine, told me the wrong information on how to use it and treated me awfully. Never will I go there again.

Needed parts for my truck, Travis was a huge help, very knowledgeable and quick, I never go to advanced auto but I will now if Travis is working. I don't think he is a manager at Westerly, R.I. store but he should be.

Advance Auto Parts (in general, not just this location) is my go-to for auto parts, that being said... both Google and A.A.P's own website show this location as opening every morning at 0730, this location wasn't opened until 0805 this morning. I spent 35 minutes watching people pull around to the back of the store while I waited to pick up my parts order. There is a sign in the window with store hours, but the opening time is hand written saying 8AM is there opening time, when I mentioned the discrepancy I was told that they (the people at this location) have been trying to get the time online changed for a few years with no luck. Maybe it time for someone to fix this so people aren't sitting around waiting for the store to open. This isn't really a complaint overall, but the times should be fixed online if the actual hours are different.

I had a check engine light on so stopped by to get the code identified. The process took less than 5 minutes, was free and the rep was knowledgable and friendly. No sales pressure.

I’ve been to this location on numerous occasions and have always been pleasantly impressed by the professionalism of the employees of this location. The location is clean and welcoming. There’s barely any wait to receive assistance and the employees are very knowledgeable about the products they carry.

I was talking with the service person behind the counter and the phone rang . The service person answered the phone and let me wait for about 5 minutes. Should have been the other way around. Needless to say I made my purchase someplace else. When a coustumer takes time to comes in the door that coustomer is priority one. Not the person looking for a price on the phone.

Went in to buy a battery and it turned out they couldn't install it because the type of car i have. Instead the guy sold me a jump start kit that had all the bells and whistles that I didn't need(of course it was way more expensive). He said it was the only kind they sold. Went to return it the next day at a different location, it was unopened and unused and come to find out they don't take returns on electronics anymore which was a brand new policy(the girl said all employees are supposed to inform customers of that). Thankfully that location helped me out and took it back.

Picked up a fuel leak in my motorhome, water separator gasket. I was able to remove the separator block but could not remove the can. Took it to advanced auto and "short Chris" took it in the back and broke it loose for me. Now i was able to run the rig with out pumping fuel on the ground and was able to get it leveled. Now the wife is also happy. Thanks Chris. Awesome costumer service.

The man with the cool beard at the counter was super helpful. It is kind of a bummer that the coupons they send out have to be used online and picked up in-store rather than being able to bring them to the counter but I got everything I needed and my brakes were done right the first time.

Tend to have odds and ends parts as well as your normal parts store parts. Went in with 2 different light bulbs off an old motorcycle on the off chance they could order them and they just happened to have both in stock.

Whenever I need a part or am not sure what exactly I am looking for the staff is more than willing to help me out. I drive a classic sports car and they are able to order just about everything that I need all the way from wiring harnesses to brake calipers. Normally I order everything online but their prices are very reasonable.

The team here is always helpful. I try to do as many auto repairs as I can; I've fixed two vehicles this month talking issues through with different employees. Based on garage quotes I've saved $600! Based on my experience I've decided to use them as my main source for parts/supplies over the other 2 place right next to them.
