I would like to thank Crotty & Son, for the outstanding work they did on my car. Thank you for also cleaning the inside of my car, it smells and looks like a new car.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! BE AWARE NEW OWNER My family and I have known Dan Crotty for years and have always taken our cars here. Work was always impeccable and Danny was the nicest, most trustworthy personable guy. I was recently in an accident and with no hesitation brought my car to Crotty & Son Body Works knowing that they would take care of me and my car. It was only after bringing my car there that I learned Danny Crotty had passed away and the body shop is under new owners. I picked up my car about a week ago and noticed a click sound when I opened my driver side door, where the car was repaired. Upon inspection, it is clearly apparent that the quarter panel was not properly aligned. The paint is chipping where the door hits the panel and the spacing between the hood and the panel is at least double than what it is on the other side. The rubber stopper at the top is not properly secured and juts out. The paint does not completely match. I called Crotty's to explain that the car was not properly repaired and I am unhappy with the service. The woman I spoke with tells me I need to bring the car in right away. I explain I am at work. She tells me maybe I shouldn't be on the phone at work and mocks me for being upset. While at the same time speaking over me and down to me she rattles on about her 37 years of experience. With that many years, you would think a body shop would know how to properly align a panel on a car and treat a long time patron with respect and kindness. My car cost thousands of dollars to repair. They were happy to take my money and my insurance company's money, do a shoddy job, and then treat me like I have no value when I inquired about it. I will now have to spend more money out of pocket to get my car properly repaired. If you like to be taken advantage of, berated, and belittled, this is the place for you. They should be ashamed to continue to use the Crotty name.

I was hit in a Dunkin Donuts parking lot and took some damage of the Drivers side rear of my vehicle. Autobody shop was recommended by Valenti Subaru (Amazing Sales & Services Department in my opinion) and was also one of the shops GEICO insurance deals with. The coordination between the dealership and Crotty & Son Body Works was absolutely amazing. They took a very stressful situation and made the process seamless. Not only did they fix the damage areas where the accident occured, they also fully detailed the vehicle inside and out and repaired a spot right above my drivers side window making the vehicle look brand new. I posted the before pictures of where the damage happen and the final product when it was finished. If I ever need body work down again, this is the place I am coming to. I will travel for good services. Thank you Crotty & Son Body Works!!!

I would totally recommend. I had 2 auto body experiences with Crotty & Son in 2024 with my new car. They went above and beyond each time. My Subaru looks like a brand new car again and smells like it too. Thank you for the cleaning inside and out and for the great experience. Nothing personal but hope I don’t see you again anytime soon but would definitely recommend to anyone needing auto body help. Thank you.

I chose Crotty & Sons Body Works for some trim and rear bumper repair on my 2009 Toyota 4Runner. His price was fair, the work looks as good as the day I purchased the vehicle in '09. As a total surprise, the vehicle was cleaned in and out. Thank you Dan for an overall pleasant experience.

Drove to East Beach (beware, road leading to beach is INCREDIBLY treacherous terrain) and the side trim of my car was ripped off. Came to Crotty & Son on a whim, hoping they'd be able to fix the issue. They immediately addressed and fixed the part. Super friendly and efficient.

I'm so impressed by the folks here from beginning to end. Polite and helpful on the phone, helped me frame expectations with car insurances, and did an amazing job on a reasonable timeline for my Subaru. They even fixed a dent unrelated to the accident. I hope to not need body work again soon, but if I do, I'll come here.

My Range Rover had a very long scrape and dent from the back passenger side wheel well to the front bumper. Dan Crotty gave me an estimate that was a tenth of what a Range Rover dealership was going to charge me. Dan told me he would have my vehicle for 4 days and was true as promised. When I picked it up, I was in complete awe, it seriously looked as new as the day I drove it out of the showroom. It was even detailed completely inside and out. I would highly recommend Crotty and Sons for any auto body needs, they are incredible to deal with (friendly, kind and straight forward) and the results will not disappoint anyone. Dan and his team went above and beyond through the whole process of repairing my truck which had received significant damage from impact with a deer. The insurance adjuster recommended a different repair shop (westerly auto body) but after five attempts at trying to get a return call from them I contacted Crotty & Son. The communication with Dan and his receptionist was timely and very informative. They were proactive in keeping me up to date. I was having issues with the insurance trying to total my car but Dan advised what to tell them and soon after the insurance agreed to repair the vehicle. The repairs themselves were of impeccable quality. Definitely better than new. The color match of the paint is perfect and any difference is imperceptible. They even touched up a few dents and few unrelated rust spots while they were at it! The interior of the vehicle was also detailed which i didn’t expect and It hasn’t been that clean since it was new. Also, despite how busy they were, they returned the repaired vehicle in the quoted time frame. I’m so grateful that Westerly Auto Body has terrible customer service as it allowed me to discover Crotty! I definitely recommend them for their business ethics and the quality of their craftsmanship!

I bought a car it had little dent in the back. Crotty & son made it look brand new. They detailed my car as well it looks awesome. I recommend if you want it done right you go see Dan. His crew makes your car look new.

The workers are so friendly and great! The insurance company tried to give me a small check for the damages in an accident but he negotiated them up to a much higher amount. He then repaired my car so well that it honestly looks to be in a better shape than before I was in an accident!! I’m beyond grateful that I took my car here.

Crotty did a great job fixing damage from a minor accident. They had a rental car ready for me and the car was done in 48 hours. They washed and vacuumed my car too which was a nice surprise! Highly recommend.

The best and most efficient service we have ever had. Dan was very informative and helpful and went above and beyond to also pop out a small dent on the rear fender while the front was being replaced for a completely separate reason. Thank you guys!

Not only did they finish the work superbly but they also went the extra mile cleaning the interior of my car and they did paint touch ups. Needed some body work to be done on my car, and this is the second time I have gone to the Crotty and Son Body Works. Everyone, starting with the reception staff to the owners, were very friendly, professional, and most of all honest and did great work.
