I’ve been bringing my car to Dorman’s for regular maintenance for a while now, and they’ve been great; they know what they’re doing, they work fast, and their prices are very fair. My parents have also brought their car here and had the same great experience.
Most recently, my car was in an accident and needed a lot of work (new door, new wheel, and other fixes). John was incredible from start to finish. He explained everything that needed to be done in a way that was easy to understand, advocated for me with my insurance company, and got me into a rental car immediately. He stayed in communication throughout the whole process, and the work was done much faster than I expected.
When I picked up my car, it honestly looked brand new. The quality of the repair, the care, and the attention to detail were better than I could’ve imagined. John went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, I genuinely felt like they were looking out for me, not just my car.

My 2023 Cadillac Escalade was side swiped in downtown Pawtucket and I was referred to this company by a co worker. I’m very satisfied with the work they did to fix my car it looks better now than it did when I bought it. Can’t even notice it was in an accident. I’ve had my cars fixed at a local shop near my house in Mass and this was a much better experience all around and the quality of repair is night and day. This is my second go with Dorman’s and I am equally impressed with 100% of the service I received. The craftsmanship is second to none. They are time efficient, and provide zero headaches. The loaner I was given was a super clean newer model, similar to my car. Those folks go above and beyond, checking every incidental detail and addressing it as required. No one likes getting in an accident, let alone 2. Having a body shop as rad as Dorman’s makes for a no headache process. Not to mention John. He’s the best of the best. I could never ask for a better experience, and John is the guy to make that happen. Fingers crossed I never need a body shop again, but if I do, I’m going back to Dormans’s.

This is my second experience with Doorman’s. Just as pleasant as the first. Car was returned in pristine condition.. even better than before my accident.. never mind the cosmetic condition, I wish I could take a photo of what the underneath of my car looked like after I’d went off the road and ran over a boulder. Everything was CRUSHED. John Martins has always been extremely kind, timely, and constantly keeps in touch. He’s very personable, empathetic, and does everything he can to make the process less stressful and that meant a lot to me. Doorman’s 100% has a life long customer for all my repair needs, from major to minor! Thank you guys.

I had a accident and took my car to Dorman's. I met John Martins the autoshop manager. John put all my worries to rest. Anytime I had a question John was quick to respond. Dorman's Auto Center is the way to go if you really want problems solved on your vehicle. Other mechanic shops around my way try to take advantage of people, especially if they don't know much about cars. My girlfriend lives in RI and I live in NH. I drove 1hr and 15 mins just to have my car serviced with Dorman's, and they charged me less than what they originally told me, plus my engine was lacking oil they added extra at no charge. I truly felt safe and comfortable with my car being serviced here at Dorman's. Special shout out to Tony! Thank you my brother!
I took my truck here after an accident. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and respectful. They do vehicle rentals which is very convenient. When I got my truck back it looked brand new and they got it done in half the time other auto body shops had told me it would take. These guys really do go above and beyond. I highly recommend Dorman's Auto Center.

Dormans auto and collision in Pawtucket RI has been the best automotive care and collision body work around. I have been bringing my vehicles to them for 7 years now and not one complaint. The staff is helpful friendly and knowledgeable. I recently had to get body work done from them and the quality and craftsmanship is unbelievable my car never looked so good. They wash and even clean inside your car for you. Ask for John in the collision department he was awesome and very helpful and puts you at ease will be a life long customer
Recently had Dorman’s do the body work repairs and paint on our 06 Toyota Avalon after a hit and run side swipe damaged the driver’s side of the car. Body shop manager John was very helpful and professional with estimates and dealing with insurance carrier etc., provided a loaner car, and got our car back to us as quickly as possible. We are so pleased with the way our car turned out. It was a pearl finish white, not the easiest to match, but the car came back to us looking beautiful, right down to the interior and exterior detailing, and custom pinstriping to match original. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a no nonsense,courteous and thorough job. Better than we expected, high marks to the whole crew at Dorman’s!!
I was in my first car accident ever, I was rear ended and Dorman’s auto was truly the best place I could have brought my car. They took care of everything, guided me through the whole process, and got me in a rental car and sped things along while the insurance company lagged behind. They returned my car to me in better condition than when I first bought it a year ago (used car). These guys truly have your best interest in mind and are trying to get you the best deal without ripping you off. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car!
I recently bought a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 from their sister station in Seekonk. My front end needed alignment and the engine smells like antifreeze from time to time. So I called Pawtucket because they are the service and sales station. I talk to a gentleman by the name of Derek who made me an apt asap and had me Bring the truck up the next day . They Pressure tested the lines and did a front end alignment, When the The truck was done. They called me the next day to come and pick it up. I push the remote starter and something did not sound right so I had the technician come out and check it. He said it’s not a problem we’re going to send it back in again. With minutes, the truck was back in the shop, taking care of the problem, which was a dirty fan belt .Once it was done Derek told me that if I had Any problem to either call it to Bring it back asap . They did not find out why it smells like antifreeze, but . Everybody here is very pleasant and very helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met and that you are a happy customer. If you have any problems, just give Derek a call and I’m sure he will take care of it. I Highly recommend Derek he’s professional helpful and he definitely knows his job!!

I was involved in a crash and doorman’s did an amazing job at making my car look, honestly, better than when I first got it. Not only was the service to my car amazing but the customer service was even better. When I got the doorman’s the day of the crash I was very distraught, but John was very kind to me and definitely made the process smooth sailing. They even went above and beyond and fixed some scratches and peeling paint that was unrelated to the crash. Overall great service and even better people, again another shout out to John for being the best!
