I cannot say enough great things about this company and the staff. I was in an accident just before Thanksgiving week (Sunday) from the driver who picked up the car to the staff answering the phone several times during the time the car was in their lot asking if the insurance company has come yet and what the process is to get the car back to finally the driver brining the car to my house. They were all polite, professional, compassionate as my world got tossed around. Thank you to everyone of you for all you did to make things a little easier and giving a guy a break. Incredibly responsive tow service! The tow truck driver Jamie was courteous, helpful and knowledgeable in helping trying to assess our conked out car. Then was very hospitable and friendly in getting both me and the car back to our home garage!

I wanted to thank the towing team (and the sweet woman who answers the landline at the shop) for their kindness and specifically mention my great experience with Hollis. I have AAA, and I needed an hour long tow late last night, and due to him being the only guy working, he explained that if he towed my car home, he’d have to leave all the other calls hanging for 2+ hours. I totally understood and appreciated the predicament he was in. He kept my car overnight at the shop, and had it brought to me this morning. He was professional, prompt, and truly made me feel like I was being looked out for. He’s the type of guy you want to show up when you’re struggling with your car in an area you’re unfamiliar with. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure that I felt safe and that my business mattered, especially during a really tough night for me. Definitely recommend these guys!

New to the area and I have an old pick up, that I love, with 200k miles. I had an oil leak and it just wasn’t running right. Rays got me in quickly, repaired the leak, replaced some belts and replaced the water pump. The truck runs great and it was done quickly. Not to mention, it’s the first time my AC has worked in three years. Two weeks later I noticed my brakes were going. I called and they got me in immediately. They communicated with me every step of the way, did what they said they would do, and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend.

The best….professional, knowledgeable and hardworking. Staff is professional. They tell what did and why. Extremely fair on pricing. Has a 24 hour tow service that services Aquidneck Island. We trust them with all our cars…old and new. No downside with this group….your cars will want to adopt them.

Just got locked out of my truck right before work and within 45 mins, Andrew with Rays towing showed up and got me back on my way. Great service, great attitude, I would use them again!

I never write reviews, but I feel this is necessary. After my truck wouldn't start today I called Rays and I was hoping that I'd just need a jump. After trying multiple battery packs and even jumper cables, no luck. The driver of the tow truck, Damian, was very helpful. He was not only attentive, he was consoling. I started crying, yes I did cry, and he was such a humble young man and eased my mind greatly. Although I'm not out of the clear yet, I am very happy with the service he provided. I hope I don't have to use a tow truck again for a while but if I do, I will be calling Rays. Thank you for great service.

We got a tow through AAA from Ray's just outside of Portsmouth, RI. Zach arrived quickly, and was professional and courteous. Cab of the tow truck was spotless. Highly recommend!

Just had to call for a tow/jump. My car needed a battery replaced and I had tried to replace it but I couldn't do anything to get it fixed. Jeff showed up to help and worked magic in minutes. He was super quick, explained a ton of stuff, was very helpful and kind and swapped my battery for me like it was nothing. I've had a tow before from Rays as well, this is certainly not my first time using them but I'll never stop using them when I need assistance. Can't recommend them enough.

I didn’t actually have any work performed, but I felt obligated to leave a five star review. I stopped by yesterday because the front end of my truck was making a funny noise. John immediately came out with a jack after assuming it was a bad wheel bearing and then confirmed his initial diagnosis. I asked him what the cost of the repair would be and he made an immediate call and let me know. I had also asked him if it was a difficult job to do myself. He said if I can change my brakes I can change the wheel bearing. I just really appreciate honesty from a mechanic so I would recommend Ray’s to anybody needing service.

I cannot say enough good things about Orrin from Rays towing - I needed help with my car in an out of state emergency so I had no idea who to call. He was very professional and clearly very knowledgeable about cars. He was able to help me with a tricky lockout situation and truly went the extra mile. Not only is he excellent and gifted at working with cars but you can tell he truly cares about helping people. If I lived in Rhode Island I would absolutely use this company for all of my car needs and ask for Orrin! Thanks so much again!!

Jonathan and his crew along with Christine in the office are top notch. I've done business with them for many years. I trust them when they tell me what is wrong with my vehicle and with their pricing. They are fair and courteous and I've never felt ripped off in anyway.

We were recently visiting Newport, RI from out of state and experienced an issue with one of the tires on our vehicle that required towing to a nearby dealership. Ray’s was notified and arrived less than a half hour after being called. Both the woman we spoke with on the phone and the truck operator were very friendly, accommodating, and professional. The truck operator took great care while loading/unloading our vehicle. He also one of the nicest people you will ever meet! Sorry we didn’t get names, but if you’re in that area of RI and need help with your vehicle - make Ray’s your first call!

I had some issues with the alternator and brakes this morning and reached out to AAA / Rays Towing. Chuck was very courteous and knowledgeable which made me feel confident he knew what he was talking about. I would definitely call again!!! I ended up getting a flat tire a few weeks after my car issues and Zach came to assist me promptly and was very kind throughout the whole process.

From the moment I talked to the office manager Christine who was knowledgeable, pleasant, patient and very helpful which made the beginning of my experience with Ray’s an enjoyable one. John whom did the repair work was top of the line. He also was very pleasant to work with and done in a timely manner. They have my loyalty. Great company

I got towed by Ray’s through AAA and had an outstanding experience. The driver was efficient, polite, and courteous. We had a long 45 minute ride and he was personable with a great attitude. The company has been around for a while and I can see why. Highly recommended!
