DONT LET YOUR CAR GET TOWED HERE. my car was brought here after my accident, so i had no chance to take anything out. when i came to collect, they went through MY glove box & decided what was & wasnt important. i got like 10% of what was in there. im missing a skateboard, they claim that wasnt there. im missing multiple knives, as well as a few other things. these people are absolute thieves.

Buyers beware. I purchased a vehicle from Copart York Haven this week and the only damage listed was “scratch and dents”. I received the vehicle and the entire transmission & exhaust/cats were completely missing. The local manager only offered to re list the vehicle for me but would not reimburse or refund me for the money i had spent. Im highly disappointed with this transaction knowing i will now be out thousands of dollars over these unexpected missing critical and obvious parts. The listing was clearly fraudulent. The facility was very nice and the staff are friendly. Update: It has also come to my attention that the PCU was swapped with an incompatible unit AFTER they took the listing photos.

My daughters vehicle was taken here by the insurance after her accident. They were told by the insurance she was coming to collect her things. The car arrives to them at 1:30pm by 4:30pm all of her belongings were stripped from the car. Everything from her office and hospital badges, to car chargers and much more. Then we get told to file a new claim with our insurance to get it replaced because they didn't get the message to the yard people in time. I bet they didnt, I bet all her things made it home with those who stripped the vehicle. The yard manager is a joke of a man with no regard for the possessions of others

My husband had them list his car in there auction. Car didnt meet reserve. We picked it up today and as soon as they brought it out we noticed they damaged the front bumper (see pictures) my husband went inside and said something they said the contract covers them from being responsible for any damages. If you look close enough the front bumper is cut. Cuts are perfectly straight so this was done on purpose. They also decided to remove decals off cat windows which should have never been removed we never gave permission and they never said they couldn't be on the car. Just wanted to give people a heads up that if you sell or want to sell a car be very careful as they obviously dont care about taking care and not damaging people's property.

One of the best yards in the country. Fast loading, fast office service. Everything works very logically and smart. Also want to mention their guy who do escorts, Nolan. He is so nice guy, always good to see him

My car was towed here from my insurance company while everything was being processed as an owner retain. Once I picked my vehicle up and got home and looked it over I found multiple items missing. 1 - magnetic phone mount that held my air ride controller. 2 - I had 1 air ride compressor missing, with the wiring electrical taped and an air tool fitting in the air tank to prevent air from leaking out. 3 - they scraped off a sticker I had on my back window. 4 - the lug nut key to remove my lug nuts was also missing

I had a great experience here recently, picking up something. The people I spoke to were friendly and I was on my way with no delay. This is unfortunately the exception at most Copart locations on both counts. The kindly fellow that loaded me was also most helpful. Something tells me at least a few of the bad reviews are from unsavory characters!

THE LADY THAT ANSWERS THE CALLS AT YORK HAVEN, PA LOCATION IS HORRIBLE! She purposely left me on hold for over 20 minutes thinking I would hang up, when I asked her to submit a request with her supervisor she got even more nasty and said that her supervisor was “busy” and couldn’t answer any calls. I then asked her for her name and she hung up the phone on my face. I am a first time customer and have had a HORRIBLE experience & she not once offered absolutely any solution to my problem. I spoke to her around 12:15 Noon & I can’t tell you her name since she would not give it to me, I’m sure they’re familiar with her giving attitude at that location. I would love for the General Manager Jeffrey Micklistch to reach out so because this is absolutely unacceptable. I simply asked her what would be the solution if my car can NOT be delivered in a timely manner, she should have provided an answer instead of getting nasty with me on the phone & processing to leave me on hold for over 20 minutes. I will be calling back until I am able to reach the general manager.

Worst experience with Copart on this location. About every month I’m purchasing vehicles here. And every single time(no joke) have problem with signatures. I’m living in MD and to put vehicle on register it’s a little bit of process. What I mean is in the MVA all has to be clear. Signatures, bill of sale etc.. and it’s not a rocket science right? Bill of sale- 1 signature from copart on seller line And they every time fails on this! Today, picked up a car, was not easy talk with representative. She kept telling me I don’t need it signature from her… After 5 min hard talk she finally signed it But not on “seller” line Instead she signed it on “Realesed by” How poor they teach them what to do?! Another problem when I trying to get list of people who can sign it and bring it to my MD local MVA They fail again with send it thru email 2 times And I had to call twice and again explain my pain And it happened EVERY SINGLE TIME!! I wish I can put 0 star I won’t have same stupid issue again But I’m hopeless already And they polite only when they picked up phone After me saying it happened again They always refused “Ohh can’t believe it happened “ It kills me …. On photo you can see “sellers” -empty “Released by” - copart representative signature ?♂️ Not funny at all. If it will be once, twice but already 6th car I purchased here…every single time the same!

I bought a car from this auction in the picture. There were two keys in the car in the Car Hauler picked up the car to transport it. There was only one key in the car, which means one of Coparts Yard guys likes to Steal KEY FOBS TO RE SELL IT ….BAD BUSINESS COPART . SEND ME MY SECOND KEY FOB

I’m giving it a two star only for the simple fact that the people at the desk were very polite. Other than that I only had a few item in my car that is now totaled and two of the items disappeared. Someone stole it out of the car and the only thing they told me was to report it to my insurance company. That’s not gonna get my stuff back. Someone working there is a thief. I honestly don’t find it right they are touching my things in the car at all to even put it in the trunk and things like that are why.

Not surprised this place has 3 stars. I will never bid a car from this lot. I had an issue with picking up the car and GM Jeffrey Micklitsch just did not want to help at all, not even consider to help. Terrible management.

I won a 2011 Sonata and had to pick it up from this place. The staff were very respectful and stern about things. They mean business and straight to the point. They helped me get my car and they were about to close in 30 minutes. They car battery was dead and it’s only because the car has been sitting for sometime which is normal. I seen one guy boost off a vehicle he just bought and it crunk right up. As anyone knows that the cars there are as is they are trying there best to get everything together and put what they see for every car on the lots. I don’t like that online they told me my tag and taxes was included. I traveled all the was from South Carolina to this place and also to just have fun and enjoy my travel. I will give an update on the vehicle when it’s done being checked out. UPDATE the car has blown motor and does not work. I paid $2,700 for it.

I have no words to describe careless of the staff, including general manager thats just ignorant person. Bought a truck with everything replaced with junk parts on it. They took pictures to hide all the details. Management dont want to do anything to stop scamming, but they welcome it so other people get burned. This is very scammy auction, just pay attention cause both sellers and auction want to scam you. This is criminal acts that no one wants to stop. People that do it, will continue to do so because auction could care less.

They only let you see 3 cars when you visit. The lot is really quite dangerous. They let just about anybody in the loaders. Go to America’s or Adesa or really any other auction you’ll have a much better experience.

Sold my pickup to them. Though there were doubts and concerns, the experience went very well and they do their job very well. There are plenty of scams out there but these guys are good, honest, and reliable. Would recommend.

Last 6/13 I traveled from Baltimore to picked up a motorcycle. This unit was posted as a “ Run and Drive” and with Keys unit. When I picked up the bike, it was not running and there is no key, both wheels are broken so how can a bike be labeled as such when you can barely move it. 3 of copart associates were there to show me the bike and tested it if it starts and it didn’t. One of the guys said the battery need more juice because it’s been sitting. So just charge the battery when you get home and it should start. So with their assurance I decided to get the bike and surely enough I charged the battery to its full capacity when I got home but to my dismay the bike won’t even fire up. Just nothing happened. My concern is how can you label your unit so inaccurately? This is a de service to your customers. I’ve been a member of Copart for years now and this is the worst transaction that I’ve been in with. This is a totally unfair treatment. And the worst part is the motor is totally damaged from underneath.

I only can say this. It used to be much better. Sometime you drive there and they will deny you from preview cars. They want you to buy without seeing the car first. Only 2 car allowed to see per visit. That’s ridiculous. Driving 2 hours to see 2 cars. Customer service non existent.

This place is an absolute joke! Office personnel are either unfriendly or incompetent; arrived to collect belongings from our car, was told the day before we could take the wheels we are still paying off so long as we replace them. Get to the yard and the lady in the office says we can't do that unless insurance releases them. Would have been nice to know in advance since this is our first time totalling a vehicle. This was after we were snapped at for not knowing we need to "check in" with an app, which could have also been explained the day before when we called. They tell you one thing one day, then you show up and its completely different the next. If your car ends up here after an accident, don't expect to get it back or get any freaking help from the people here at this place!! Also expect to be treated like you are stupid, sadly kindness isn't something they have here.

Called first to find out what I needed to do so I could get my belongings out of my vehicle. Getting through directly to them was a bit challenging but when I did. The woman I spoke with was very pleasant and helpful. The staff there was very friendly and helpful with my needs. I suggest you scan the barcode at the window outside to check in. It makes life a whole lot simpler. They will text u through all the steps u have to take from there on.

**BEWARE YOU NEED THE TRANSPORTATION APP TO PICK UP YOUR LOT** I emailed Jeff, the manager prior to my trip, if he would have been more specific and said use the "Transportation App" instead of saying "Use the app" I would have known I needed an additional app just to get the car out and not the Copart Mobile App that I use to get into the "virtual queue" at other locations to grab my documents and then the loader brings the lot out. The only place it states anything about using the Transportation App is in their "Covid19" section of the website. It doesn't pop up in the "You've won the lot" email, nor the invoice, nor in the location's specific site, nor in the "Pay and Pick Up" section of the website. You either find out if you happen to look at their "Covid19" section or once you arrive and get told you need an additional app just to get the lot out. The only helpful person was the lady who drives the one of the loaders, she was kind.

DO NOT BUY CARS HERE This yard can not accommodate the volume of cars they are selling. They give your driver a first available appointment for а couple weeks forward because "the yard is full and they are short handed". They tell you that they will adjust the storage whenever the driver pickus your car. When the cars are picked up they tell you that no storage will be removed and you could schedule an appointment for any time, you were just lazy. And it is your responsibility to pay for each and every day. So they are straight up liars. Not to say it takes forever to get a hold of anybody over the phone or email.

Hiedi rapp an employeeat this facility, copart must pay her to be on her phone all day instead of taking care of customers. Half the time she was taking care of me her fingers were typing away at her phone. One things for sure she can type very fast on her phone. Hopefully never have to visit here again.

Customer service representative was in a rush. I said good afternoon, she said member number. I said let me get it out of my phone, she said I don't have time to wait for for you to get it out of your phone, step to the side. At the end of the transaction I said thank you and have a good day........no response. Poor customer service. Unprofessional. The loaders were awesome. 1 let me know that my vehicle wasn't paid for as I waited 30 mins in the que. He said he didn't want me standing around just waiting for the vehicle. The other when he brought out the vehicle gave me a compliment on my illuminated F350 badges.

Dont call this auction location the representatives are very rude. I knew when I called I was going to get a rude response so I had someone next to me and used they're phone to record the conversation and they was rude again. Worse copart location I ever dealt with never again. I paid for my car to be shipped on the 31st of March which was a Tuesday. I called April3rd which was a Friday to check the status of delivery. The representative told me the driver that goes to Philadelphia retired I asked did he retire this week she informed me last month. I wish I was told the driver retired before I paid for my transport now I have to wait 10 business days or more.

This location was organized and efficient. The staff was helpful for the most part. I did have what I would consider a negative interaction with one of the men working in the lot. As I was leaving the lot he was not courteous during our exchange. I greeted (Like, "What?") because he was staring angrily. He asked if I had my paperwork and called in over the radio even after I offered it up. He was told I was good and let me go. I wouldn't ding this Copart location hard on this because one person wasn't big on customer service which is why I still give them a 4 star rating. Overall my transaction was good. The staff inside and the gentleman that escorted me out to my lot were very helpful and polite. I will definitely be returning.

Though I do love Copart as a company, this particular location was very unprofessional. The place closes at 5 pm, and we arrived at 4:40, with plenty of time to look at the one car we wanted to purchase. I stated my business there, and the lady who approached me rudely questioned if I would actually get in and get out in time, and was a jerk as I was attempting to fill out the paperwork. I had explained that I have two visitors who came with me, and although they are not members, they are above 16 with ID and the $20 visitor fee. She rudely denied their entry, even though it specifically states in the terms that all visitors over 16 years of age who pay $20 may enter any location. Had I had more time, I would have argued against this, especially since we all drove an hour just to see the car. Even though I am probably much younger than the people who come to the auctions (I am 18, but I have a verified membership with Copart), there is no reason to pick fights with people who are perfectly allowed to be there. With that said, this was only one person, and I did encounter a nicer staff member on my way out. Please don't let them discourage you if there is a car there you like; just keep in mind that the staff can be very rude.

They have corporate rules and policies likely made by some committee in CA. I drove the 50 or so miles to their facility and was told I can't look at the vehicles because the title work was not in order yet. I asked if the vehicles would look different when they got the titles straight and was told I can't look at them until the paperwork was done. Have you ever gone to the grocery store for butter and walked out only buying butter? What a goofy way to operate. Apparently their time is more valuable than mine.
