The best. Bob and his staff do good work and don’t BS you or try to charge you for something you don’t need. I’ve taken all my cars there for service for the last 20 years and have bought two cars from him and have never had an issue and always felt like I was treated honestly and fairly.
Quite literally the worst service and people I’ve ever encountered. They are greedy and I’m pretty sure they sold my car without proper authorization and the owner Bob was just the absolutely worst. He lied and said I was given a notice to claim my vehicle within 30 days and my bank/financer who also has a lien on the vehicle tried to claim it well within that time frame but they constantly dodged them just for them to say that no one claimed the vehicle within the given time frame. Tried contacting them multiple times to at least know what happened to it and if I should tell my bank/credit union to go ahead and consider a lien loss, but the raggedy owner Bob refused to tell me what happened to it. Probably because he’s done something to it that he has absolutely no authority to be doing. Just trash practice and person altogether. Hope my credit union sues them and they’re whole operation gets shut down for good. Really wish the absolute worst for this business and they’re employees. 0/10.
They were called by police to tow my truck due to an accident. The young man that did the tow was really kind. It sucks to have an accident. I was treated with more kindness from the driver than I was the police officer. He actually asked if I was ok when I stopped in the next day. A little kindness goes a long way.
I was there with a group from my congregation, and I had a wonderful time. The food was plentiful, and I really had a good time. Food arrived on time. everything was nicely put together. It was a nice place, good food, good friends. I highly recommend this place.
towed my car , then had the nerve to have a flat rate of 500$ he has a contract with the city this is definitely a rip off i told them let me call aaa they insisted i used this a hole who is very rude and angry
Took my daughter's 2005 Toyota Camry in for inspection and service. Excellent experience. Great communication and price on a needed repair. We will go back again.
By far, best mechanic I have ever dealt with! Denis is honest and gives options. They service State vehicles and wouldn't jeopardize that....100% awesome! I've brought 4 cars here for 20 years... 2002 Chevy trailblazer has 218k miles...oil changes and Denis...without a doubt. Trust him over Jeep, Chevy and Mr. Tire service!
This is a GREAT place to have your vehicle serviced or to buy a quality used vehicle! The owner is SUPER NICE and always has the best interest of his customer in mind!! This business is a York County asset!
Charged me double, for towing my vehicle to the Barracks, since that was the only way for me to get me vehicle. Only thing I can say is businesses that try to get over just set themselves up for failure. What comes around goes around.
My husband was a mechanic and always trusted York county auto with our inspections. Since my husband has passed they have taken good care our my family’s cars and have been good to us!!
Very good service garage (they tend to stay away from larger jobs like engine or transmission swaps). Bob is a great guy and always willing to help and give recommendations. Never had a bad experience here.
My granddaughter had an accident in my car Friday night. Bob from York County Automotive was the driver of the tow truck & was so helpful in trying to calm me down. When I went to their facility the next day to remove my personal items he was there & was so helpful. There was a large amount of money in the console of the car. He informed me immediately about it. Thank you Bob for being such an honest person. Thank you for helping that night to calm me down.
Bought 04 Tacoma SR5 in 2016, couple months later failed inspection for hole in frame from rust, owner of York Auto reimbursed me for repairs after I contacted BBB, 2017 inspection failed again for hole in frame and now unsafe to drive due to rust so bad, there is no way in 2 years that the frame would be so rusted, York Auto tried to cover it up. Toyota declined frame replacement due to previous owner failed to honor recall to undercoat the frame. So, I traded it in for an 03 Tacoma SR5, the differences in vehicles is like night and day, the 03 is in much better condition, now drives like it should. York Automotive ripped me off and should of been aware of the frames condition who else would sell a unsafe vehicle, but a con artist.
Hack shop! Complete rip-off, save your time and money and go somewhere else. They're so shoddy at their work they have to milk every dollar out of you that they can every time you come in the door. They deceived me into thinking they were going to diagnose my car only to be charged $80 for the diagnosis which they said would not apply towards the repair. The only reason they charge for diagnosis because they're awful mechanics and they're not able to keep long-time customers as they have to make as much money from anyone who walks through the door as they can. Because of your short-sighted business dealings wanting to rob me of $80 you just lost a potential lifelong customer. End up spending $1,500 on the repair at another shop who did not charge me for the diagnosis. They said thank you by the way!
It's hard to find an honest mechanic. These guys are wonderful and trustworthy. The same can not be said about a lot of places in York County. I highly recommend them.
