Professional while still maintaining a ma and pa shop experience, knowledgeable staff, polite. The selection available is also impressive for a small, out of the way shop. My reason for visiting was to drop off a snow blower that wouldn't start, apparently the carb was completely gunked up, the repairs took about a week, luckily there wasn't any snow that week, a little longer than I wanted although the confidence I have in a properly operating piece of equipment being picked up makes the wait worth returning if I ever need brickhouses services again.
I went to buy a log trimmer and they had great customer service, along with an understanding of what I needed to cut down the trees I was doing. I suggest the ms 170 as a great small tree trimmer saw.
The service was fantastic, it was a little busy but they helped me find a mower and all the details I needed. If you need anything relating mowers stop in at the brick house services, I’m sure they would be glad to help!
My generator needed a battery. I called and was told the battery was $106. OK I'm fine with that. I figured an estimate of $200. When I got the bill, there was a labor bill for $175!..technician was only there for 20min.
Absolutely terrible customer experience. VERY POOR service knowledge and troubleshooting of standby gensets. They also lack the ability to do simple repairs effectively. They ordered uneeded parts and wouldn't sell me the part they ordered for me??? Never experienced anything quite like it and hopefully I never have to again. Wouldn't recommend this place EVER!!
I recently bought a Generac generator from this business. The service was great and they had exactly the right sized generator in stock that fit my needs! Highly recommended

This business was once a decent local provider of lawn and garden equipment, but no longer values its customers or commitments. High employee turnover, employee incompetence, managerial absence and incompetence, inability to track parts and service, and completely ignoring customers calls and inquiries, result in a business that cannot be relied upon.
Service department had my snowblower for a month...and didn't repair or service it as requested...then told me it was all fixed and ready to go...don't go here
Awesome place and great people! Looked all over NY for bad boys, even Connecticut and couldn't get them anywhere so I traveled 3 hours or so to Brickhouse and got the TWO we wanted right off their "lot"! 5 stars is NOT ENOUGH!!!
Bought a push mower about a month ago. I have 20 lawns I am mowing. I always put my riding mower in the front of the trailer and push mower in the back - I bungee strap it all the time. My first time out with my new mower and the engagement bar fell off. I called and talked to Rick and he said that it was my fault for putting it in the trailer. I did the same thing with an Aries push mower for 12 years - sorry Rick the engagement bar never fell off. I took my mower - still not repaired - since it is my fault for expecting quality, I will take it somewhere else and pay for a piece that should be rugged enough to withstand a trailer ride. Remember to buy local - just don’t expect very good customer service!!
I need corrosion inhibitor for my outdoor furnace. These folks hooked me up. Very friendly and professional. Wish I would have had more time to browse through their store.
Took two weeks and many false promises to pick up our mower. Four weeks after finally picking it up we still don't have it back. Phone calls are not returned. 4 days ago they said they were working on it. Our lawn hasn't been mowed in six weeks. Next step is to report it stolen.
They are very busy and like any other place you have to wait your turn. Their service is very good. Their expertise is in Husqvarna and Stihl, however they will help you with other brands. There is a service and parts desk and also a showroom with a variety of products. I would say pricing is average for the quality of products they sell. Of course you could always go to Walmart but you get what you pay for.
Bought My First Stihl Chainsaw from these guys and all other chainsaw bars/chain equipment I needed. Outstanding Customer Service!
The Small Engine Repair Service offered here is By far the Highest Quality and The Small Engine tech Guy Is The Most Knowledgeable, Upfront, and Honest Guy I've ever had work on my stuff. If something is wrong with your equipment he will find the problem in a matter of minutes to seconds!
I've had two chainsaws (Stihl, Echo) and one weedwacker (Stihl) repaired here. Brian is professional and extremely knowledgeable. Price was fair and work completed when promised. I highly recommend Brickhouse Services.
I will never take anything there because I was just there and the service was rude and disrespectful and only trying to make a sale on new equipment not trying to help me fix an old unit
