They pay low and are very rude. I wanted to bid on their online auctions and got banned for asking for clarification on how much I would have to pay in taxes since the auction says shipping+ taxes will be added to the total, after the person running the online auctions said they have to pay 40% in taxes for sales. They ignored my question multiple times, even after I expressed I would need to know how much they would charge me in sales tax before I can bid. They then banned me for spam....this is extremely unprofessional and there are so many better places to buy and sell.
The owner showed me in real time the price of silver, gold and others, offered and paid fair market value. Black and white, no arguments. Very refreshing to find good, honest and hard working people you can trust. Cash4gold can fly a kite! Go to the professionals for top dollar!
Also, in regards to the tnt veteran review, I am also a veteran. This group treated me with the utmost respect, like every customer I saw in the store. You won't find better people to do business with.
BUYER BEWARE This whatnot vendor banned a paying customer for commenting “greysheet” in the chat. Setting a high anchor is one thing, being deceptive is another. This is a deceptive vendor.
Edit: This is not a spam review. I was Banned for commenting "Greysheet," in reference to the wholesale price guide. They deleted my yelp review. This is a shady business. Take your money to a business that will engage in an honest conversation with you about fair market value, you won't find that with Colonial Gold and Silver, they suppress information so they can lie to and mislead customers.
I'm open to removing this comment if you acknowledge wrongdoing.
I have a love/hate relationship with these guys. This review pertains to their WhatNot auctions. Recently I’ve spent perhaps $5000 with them on hundreds of different auctions. They have some wonderful inventory, Caleb is extraordinarily knowledgeable and a master “coin presenter” (giving lengthy stable views of both the obverse and reverse sides of the specimen… Duddy is a hoot and I’ll often watch his show for hours (even when not buying) just for entertainment. There’s a lot to love about these guys!
What to hate: their ridiculously strict “no cancellations” policy. I have Parkinson’s. My fingers tremor. Out of my hundreds of purchases I accidentally bid on 3 items that I didn’t intend to bid on. Told them immediately (before anything was even packed/shipped). And guess what? Yup, they declined my cancellations. They take their policy seriously so don’t you dare make a bidding error, neurological disease or not. Semi- significant customer or not.
All in all I guess I’ll continue business with them but i have a bit of a bad feeling about that which I wish was not the case.
I have never been to there location but I have purchased from there live auctions. Highly recommended. Answers questions and tries hard to get you what you want if it's available. This seller is 100%. Definitely a talker! Lol
Knowledgeable, trustworthy, friendly, and then there's Caleb. Kidding, Caleb is the one I deal with the most and he is fantastic! Have a question or looking for something particular, he will do whatever he can to help. And probably give ideas on different coins to invest in. Great prices too. Always a pleasure working with him on Whatnot.
This company deceived me on Whatnot. Thought I was buying silver and it was a regular coin. I'm a disabled Veteran with cancer and when I asked to verify it was silver they said no. I then immediately asked them to cancel the purchase and they refused. The shipping was more than the deceptive coin sale. Beware and do not purchase from this company on Whatnot. We have filed claims against this company and Veterans are going to help steer people from this uncompassionate company! Whatnot refunded me for the full price that I was charged after I reported them. It's not buyers remorse!! It's about being transparent and understanding to your customers. I definitely will not be back to your site! Even other buyers on your auction offered to pay me on Cash App because your company was not going to cancel the misleading sales pitch purchase!
These guys will scam you if you give them the chance! Highly recommended doing business with anyone else! Instead of correcting the problem of extremely over charging me they just blocked me. Terrible people with no customer service.

Avoid this "coin shop" at all cost! They sell you cleaned coins and tell you they are gem bu. I bought several Morgan's 5 months ago and was told they would grade MS so I sent them off to get graded, they came back cleaned. I was told to download an app and watch there show, they are selling coins 3-4x the value and telling people they are getting good deals. They don't care about the coin community only money and sales.
I like how they're all packaging the items. Very great work, and the day of shipping sometimes comes in a day wow...
