Went in today for a ratchet wrench and the employees were extremely rude to me. Then handed me a receipt ripped in half. Not sure if it was a bad day for them but felt customer service should’ve been a bit better

I needed a battery for my car remote, and my husband always stops at this location for wipers, floor mats, car batteries, etc. I am giving 5 stars to Mindy for stepping up to help me when the old dude told me “we don’t advertise that we do that.” She installed it and even gave me the packaging so that I knew which battery I would need in the future. Kudos and thanks to Mindy. IMO the old dude needs to retire if he doesn’t want to help customers.
Got great service Sunday morning. they had the part in stock to get my car running again, and offered to replace my wiper blade for me, which was appreciated.
This is the best Advance Auto in the area. Gerry, Jerry, Allen and the rest of the staff are personable, knowledgeable, and know what they're talking about. It's worth the trip.
Stopped in on the 21st of Sept 2023 explained to the person working there what I needed and his response was that's an electrical part. So I stated "I know it has the same name but no it is not electrical, but it is located on the back of an automatic transmission oil pump....its called a stator and i need the stator O-rings aka stator sealing rings. 12179A- RING, A604/A500/42RLE/62TE STATOR SUPPORT (2.062”OD) (SEAL PLATED) 1989-UP
SKU 12179A . But he was still not competent enough to understand that. I left in frustration thinking " am I that bad of a mechanic that I don't even know what the part is called." So i stopped by a local transmission shop and asked the owner what the part was called....his response THE OIL PUMP STATOR. This confirmed to me that I AM COMPETENT !!! You need to hire people that actually know what car parts are and wont make their customers feel stupid, now i know who the idiot was!
Hi this is the worst service I have ever experienced. I am 32 weeks pregnant, I don’t know that much about cars and I came in asking for help because my dash told me that my Engine was hot and that the A/C was off. Again I don’t know that much about cars and was stressed because I didn’t know what to do. The person I spoke to, I don’t remember his name was basically no help at all. I asked him maybe what that could mean and he said oh it could mean many things you should take it to a shop. I said is it possible that maybe my coolant is low? He said yea maybe and so I asked what I should get because I didn’t know and he picked one out. But he showed really no interest to help me nor try to give me any suggestions. I was already so stressed out that this was happening, being that I didn’t really know what to think or do, and he was NO HELP. I would never recommend going here if you expect to get genuine help and are unsure about vehicles. So rude.
Chet offered superior service here! I stopped on a road trip to get oil when my light came on around 8:30 at night. He helped me quickly check the level, select the best oil, and get me in the road!! Many thanks for this positive experience and customer care!
Just a typical auto parts store. The employees are always friendly and they typically have what you need. I would recommend stopping by if you need some auto parts.
Great service I had trouble finding a part when I went here the guy wouldn't give up he found my part not only he could order it in for the next day or he said the other store 15 minutes down the street had it in if I needed it right away
Purchased windshield wipers and Cody installed them quickly. He was also a big help with a defective part from a previous purchase. Very happy with the knowledge and service from this location.
These guys are amazing! I needed a new caliper, rotors, and breaks and they helped me find all of the parts that I needed. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
