Drove 20 miles (40 miles round trip) in a uhaul which costs a dollar a mile plus fuel so it cost me 60 dollars to go there to be turned away because they wont accept a LEGAL PA TEMP LICENSE along w my most recent license. The STATE accepts them but a garbage dump won't. Now im stuck with a rented vehicle for two more days another hundred dollars. And i cant even use it to move my belongings because ITS FILLED WITH GARBAGE BAGS. THANKS ALOT.
Called in got quoted a price drove 45 mins to get there then the told me it was 1/3 less then quoted and also 1/3 less then every other scrap yard was paying . Make ya wear a hard hat and vest call around every single scrap yard pays more and don’t act like they are doing you a favor to rip you off . But they did tell me I could load everything back up and “ go somewhere else “ which was nice of them
I live near this business. They have no respect for residential area they work out of they start operation at 430am sometime earlier they start trucks to let them run for 20 to 30 mins bang around dumpsters and Everytime i talk to a manager they quit or get fired and I'm back to square one. In pursuit of legal action.
Quick and easy to use, also much less expensive than the other ones around me. They were nice and let me borrow a hard hat instead of renting it and I was able to get in and out with minimal issues. The guy working the dozer even chatted about my truck. Over all it was as good of an experience as one could ask for at a junk yard.
Had a small issue and the guys made it right and went beyond what I believe they had to ..Thank you very much and i will be back and also I will highly recommend you guys to everyone..

Got excited to go there because I heard it's cleaner in there which it is. I felt like I got shafted when I got my money and sure enough I did. I called Daniels and Miller up the road and they would have paid me nearly double what I made here.
Well organized, easy to get in and out, weighed and paid quickly, doesn't completely close for lunch making me wait in the parking lot till they finish. All around much better, faster and easier to deal with then the other two local scrap yards that I used to frequent regularly until Michael Bros moved in. Appreciate the convenience. Thanks
My 2 times there were both very professional. Ive been to other scarp yards. This one is by far the best. All workers are very nice and helpful. I would give 10 stars if i could.
I've been here several times. Every time I get treated exceptionally good. Like I'm part of the family. I'm very please with Micheal Brothers thank you very much
