We had such an incredible experience with Denton Go that I can’t say enough good things about it. Last Sunday, we decided to rent ATVs, and it turned out to be one of the most fun adventures we’ve had in a long time. The ATVs were in excellent condition, the trails were exciting and well-maintained, and the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. We had such a blast that we couldn’t resist going back just two days later to do it all over again!

We enjoyed camping here! Nice quiet place to camp with good sized sites. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed renting out razors and going for a ride too! We are excited for everything they are working toward here! We will be back again!
We visited this park to check out their camping spots. Disappointed that this state park did not have any water fill areas or dump station. The sites are freshly stoned and look pretty level. We talked with a ranger who stated that you have to dump at Lyman Run State Park a few miles away (also out of the way) and pay $10.00. He told us that booking a site is done through DentonGo.
I unfortunately didn't realize that in a state park the individual that holds the concession was able to remove people from the parking lot due to a party they were hosting. I was not inside any buildings as was parked as close to the entrance and as far away from the lodge as possible. And was threatened with being parked in on purpose if i didn't move my vehicle so that the party could have the entire state park. I'm really disappointed that DCNR would turn a public space into a place that you can only access if you pay a private company a fee.. We have no privatized our public spaces. If I had been a paying customer then I would have been permitted access.
Great staff, Helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help you. The ATV rode like a Cadillac and almost no end to the power. Will rent again we go up to Potter for riding.
My husband and I spent our anniversary renting a side by side for the day and had an absolute blast! I don’t think a moment went by that we weren’t smiling. The playground was a lot of fun too! Very awesome staff, HIGHLY RECOMMEND
From the machine, check in and check out process, to the customer service and views while out and about, Denton Go has it all. Machines are in top notch shape. The process to check in and check out were smooth and headache free. Todd took great care of us through the entire process. Will definitely be back to check the resort out when they're up and operating. The trails were well kept and was an absolute blast.
Equipment was in great condition. Location of the rental was convenient to where we where staying and the trails. Was a great deal for a two day rental. Todd was knowledgeable with the equipment and very friendly. We will definitely rent another side by side from him on your next trip.

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania -- 07/29/2024 Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources State Parks Director John Hallas today announced the first phase of improvements to transform Denton Hill State Park into a four-season recreational destination in Potter County.
A first phase this summer will include the improvement of current hiking and biking trails; upgrading and opening traditional tent camping, recreational vehicle sites, and modern cabins; and reopening the iconic lodge as a venue for large events, including weddings.
“We are working with our partners, Denton Go, to reimagine Denton Hill and create a year-round destination for visitors from the Commonwealth and the Pennsylvania Wilds region," Hallas said. “Our goal is to turn Denton Hill into a a premier destination for camping, events, and more as we implement a strategic plan and fully bring new ideas to life."
Governor Josh Shapiro recently launched a new brand for the Commonwealth -- Pennsylvania: The Great American Getaway -- and pointed to Pennsylvania's state park system as incredible destinations for a weekend getaway. State parks are great summer destinations for swimming, boating, camping, and other outdoor recreation opportunities.
Denton Go, LLC formed in 2023 and is comprised of three members from the local area. The company brings a wealth of business and mountain recreation experience that includes ski and hospitality operations. It will operate the overnight and other facilities at the park under a temporary agreement as a 35-year agreement is being finalized.
“Denton Go looks forward to partnering with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to establish a regional headquarters for outdoor recreational enthusiasts, dark sky viewing visitors, and anyone else living in or visiting northcentral Pennsylvania who is passionate about four-season outdoor recreational opportunities," said Todd Brown of Denton Go.
Brown said Denton Go will be opening a Polaris Adventures Site for the public to rent off-highway Utility Terrain Vehicles for use where allowed in the park and the surrounding Susquehannock State Forest.
The first phase of work at the park also includes the removal of some of the outdated ski lift equipment.
Other areas of improvement the department and Denton Go have identified include relaunching the ski lift operation for downhill skiing and snowboarding; lift-serviced mountain biking; mountaintop dark sky viewing; expanded overnight cabin, recreational vehicle and tent camping opportunities; and numerous additional or expanded daytime recreational activities including improved trail connections.
All permanent infrastructure at Denton Hill is owned by the department and needs major rehabilitation and modernization. The department is committing $10 million in capital improvements to the park.
The ski lodge and lift closed in 2014 leaving the park feeling somewhat deserted. There are some cabins left but this now just a road stop park for a lunch or some quiet time.

Rented a UTV from Denton Go and had an amazing time! Chandra, Todd and the rest of the staff were great! I would highly recommend them! There is a lot more to come at Denton hill!
I'm not sure why this is a state park. No amenities. Just overflow parking for the Lumber Museum across the street. There are a few cabins in the park. Looks like they are improving RV sites
Came here to check out the abandoned ski hill. Runs are still skiable, but the snow was crusty when I visited. Cool to see the abandoned infrastructure
Not crowded. Nice place for nature walking and just relaxing. Plenty of room to run around. This is a dormant ski area so please be considerate and don't mess with any of the stuff. Watch for snakes. No camping and no usable picnic tables.
Haven't been there since the ski resort was shut down. Just wanted to comment on what a shame it is that the state just let this place die. It wasn't great skiing, but it was my favorite place to go and just have a fun, relaxing day on the slopes. They did actually have a portion of one run that was the steepest slope this side of the Mississippi.
We just stopped for a visit to see what it looked like. It's a shame that it's not taken care of.
I know it's not ski season but the grass hasn't been cut in months the picnic tables are all broken trees down everywhere. The building does look beautiful I hope they clean it up.
Attended Eastern Traditional Archery Rendezvous July 2017 and 2018. Beautiful views, clean Air, challenging trails. Great place for camping, hiking and other outdoor activities
