Nice country store with lots of different items. From serving food to paper goods and wine, there's something for everyone. They have wine tastings and bottles available for purchase. Many are made with mead so they are a bit sweeter. There is also delicious wheel cheese, beef sticks, other pkg food products, lottery, 2 stroke oil, jar pickled vegetables, desserts, and more.
I'm sure it's great but do not count on them to be open when their hours say they will be. Came from 30 minutes away to arrive at 3:45pm on a Monday. Closed!
A neighbor at our camp mentioned this spot to us as he’d just gotten back from there some Big hunks of a locally produced Cheddar cheese. This got us interested and we decided to visit. The store was incredibly busy. Folks out on the porch, ATVs parked all around, a small gas pump out front too.
They were well stocked in camper pantry items, eggs, milk, butter, sodas and candy etc. They had some souvenirs, all the basics and then some additional fishing tackle, camping equipment, dry firewood and kindling.
A full deli counter and a selection of ice cream was available. They also carried a wide variety of local preserves, maple syrup, mustard, and pickled items.
At the register they had these wheels and shelves of the local cheese- offered us some that was fresh from the farm and some that was cooled a bit. We bought a sizeable hunk o’ cheddar and got to sample it throughout the weekend.
Great stopping point if you need to get connected to WiFi for anything as there happens to be service in the town-
Seemed to be popular with the ATV crowds too as with much of the surrounding areas.
Thanks for a nice scoop of ice cream in a hot summer day too- the staff was friendly - so be sure to stop in you are visiting the area.
The perfect camp store a bit rustic with a bit of everything, groceries, hardware, tackle, RV parts, and more..fresh made subs is why we stopped they were excellent!!
Love this lil place. I don't get to visit it often enough. It never changes! (That's a GOOD thing!) My kids love the old fashioned candy displays. They have a little of everything you need up there.
Returned to Germania Store with a group of us who hadn’t stayed there in over 30 years. It was then & still is an ideal place to stay for groups who are out enjoying Potter County and want a place to return to with hot showers. The common kitchen area is great. The ability to grab meals in the store which opens at 7 AM daily + whatever you likely need for the day is an important time saver. 2 other dining options within walking distance for evening meals are great options if you don’t grab something from the store as it closes relatively early (5-6 PM Daily). All the staff was friendly & helpful. I would suggest stopping by the store if you are near and take a look at a legit old country store making a go of it in today’s world. I’m sure you can find something to buy ( if not the great tasting cheese cut from the original cheese wheel cutter & display case ) and help continue the history of providing goods to those who need it in the smaller towns of God’s Country.
We live in the Fingerlakes in Upstate NewYork. We love getting lost in rural PA especially Germania we love the history & the Germania General Store & Inn. They have the best Sharp Chedder Cheese & Subs Ms. Brenda is awesome she's very welcoming! Looking forward to our next visit ♡♡♡
I put this up be for its a great little store. Thay have a breakfast lunch no dinners you can get supplies for your camp gas $$ fishing stuff .and its up for sale. Don't know how much. Also thay have hand crafted wood tables.made by a local Resident who lives just out of town.
Best hoagies! Nice little General Store. Breakfast sandwiches. Delighted to find out they were open til noon on Thanksgiving Day as we were passing through. People very nice in there.

I was out and about with the family, found this place on accident while I was in desperate need of gas. As I was pumping gas they ran out. But they were a life saver in a pinch, I did get 2 gallons in before they ran out. Granted there was lots of people before me who had gotten fuel for their four wheelers. I was just glad to get enough to get to another gas station. Nice little country store.
A beautiful area. It is easy to see why this is called God's Country.

This store has been a welcome Oasis during our travels for years. They have groceries, small dining area and a large automated ice cream and yogurt bar.
The service at the store was great. The people behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. Purchased some drinks and homemade pasta salad which was amazing. Keep up the good work!
