Yup. I’m gonna have to write an honest, bad review here because I am so tired of getting screwed by places like this.
I’ve used Kelly’s before. Many times years ago but never again.. and this is why..
Got a new set of tires mounted and balanced. First, when I heard the total amount I was a bit shocked. $216 dollars for 4 tires to be mounted and balanced. Con to find out, they charge WAY more if they are “low profile” tires. Biggest scam I’ve ever heard of because most wheels and tires from most auto manufacturers are considerably different than they were years ago. Sounds like it’s just another way to steal money from people.
I was charged 50+ dollars per wheel and tire, when someone very close to me paid 35 for each wheel and tire. Mind you.. there is absolutely no difference in balancing tires no matter what the size is.
Also.. my first day with my new tires on, I had insane vibrations in the car. I called them back and asked to look at it again. Mind you.. apparently they couldn’t get me in for another 1.5 weeks which is absolutely garbage. Serve a current customer before you take new ones in! 1.5 weeks to check the balance in my tires is just pathetic.
Longer story short. They “balanced” my tires a second time. Nothing changed what so ever. These guys must think I’m stupid and told me the tiny bit of damage on my wheel may be causing the issue. Absolutely not. I had no issues with two other sets of tires on my car, but continue to talk to people like they are stupid.
Finally. Got my tires balanced at another shop and I was told every. Single. One. Of my tires were out of balance pretty bad. Oh and I paid a reasonable price lol. Drove away, got me car up to 60 mph and wow. What a difference. Car was smooth. My steering wheel was not shaking and my whole car stopped shaking.
Never again will I go to Kelly’s and I’ll put the word out for a better shop. I won’t name the place, but I feel people need to know how they are being worked over. There is no way in heck, I am the only one that has this issue at this shop. Clearly their balancing machine needs some help but again, blamed it on my one wheel with slight damage, and the fact that I used different tires lol. That’s $216 dollars I’m never getting back.
Decent pricing id say and work gets done quick but it seems corners are cut to get work out the door in a timely manner. Got an alignment asking for printouts, when the call came that the car was done asked if there were printouts they said no, I asked again for alignment printouts they wouldn't provide them. Car still pulls to the right and vibration at higway speeds, Iots of excuses. Not to mention was charged for parts and labor I never agreed to even though it was only 17 dollars. Still no concent was given.
Always fiendly. Always helpful. Competitively priced.
Having to get your car fixed sucks. But since you have to anyway why not take it where you are treated like an old friend, smiling faces, and lighthearted atmosphere. Appointments are on time and fast. No bull. No cons. They want to keep you as a customer. That might be their greatest asset.
We have been using this automotive shop since the early 2000's. My husband has a great relationship with the one automotive tech named Bart. He and my husband work great together to get things figured out.
One of the best mechanical places I know. Fair pricing, friendly people. They know what they’re doing. I was in there for my ac compressor and I didn’t have a ride so I had to wait and Nate kept me company the whole time. Jeff did an amazing job on my compressor and my ac works AMAZINGLY after almost a year without it. Wouldn't wanna go anywhere else in the area. Thank you Kellys Auto!
Today was my first time trying out Kelly's auto and it was great service start to finish. Very friendly staff as well. I will definitely be going back if I have any future car needs.
I’ve been dealing with these guys for years and have nothing but great things to say about them! They’re my go to whenever one of my vehicles have an issue. Highly recommend them if I could give 10 stars I would!
These people are great. We scheduled an oil lube and filter and inspection then promptly got the flu. They were kind about rescheduling. I called yesterday to confirm the appointment. Vinnie was very nice and confirmed. My husband brought the car in and was back in 2 hours even though we live close to half an hour away. They were efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The prices were great and the service was excellent.
Took my car for an oil change at Milford Jeep Chrysler Dodge and RAM and they told me my tire tread was around a 5 and I would be needing tires soon. Took my car to Kelly's for inspection and they told me the tread was at a 7 and tires were very good. So, thank you Kelly's for the HONEST evaluation of my tires.
This auto place is great. They took me in the same day. Very professional, they explained everything in detail. I am very pleased with the work they did. I intend to use their services in the future. Thank you guys!
Truck broke down to the point I had no brakes left and my vehicle pays for itself so it's a must I have it .. I called Kelly's in the morning for any availability in the near future.. well let me tell you.. I was in that morning and out before closing time.. Kelly's Automotive is the place to be hands down... My 20 years of experience says enough.. Thank you fellas.. great work always...
Called for an inspection and they squeezed me in same day. They were incredibly friendly and I've heard great things so we'll be back.
Back again this year and they had me in and out quickly. They're friendly and do a great job
Was debating which tires to get to replace stock oem tires. Did research on tire rack and Kelly’s couldn’t get the exact tires due to back orders but they recommended me 3 other alternatives and provided quality service in a timely manner. The prices on the tires given were cheaper than any online merchant (including installation and disposal) AND you get rotations for the life of the tire. Shop local!
As I was looking for an alternative to traveling far for servicing, I decided to stay "local" and make an appointment for an oil change. It is with regret I did so, I arrived early for my scheduled time and was told there was a slight delay, No Problem... Where it goes wrong is when I wasn't informed they had NO OIL!!! In addition was not told until 25 minutes later with only an apology? It is my understanding to keep a customer you need to take good care of a potential new one, In this case that was ignored...
I have been using Kelly's for over 2 yrs. They have great service, and their pricing is fair. I have an old car and the owner went out of his way to come to my house to see why it wouldn't start etc. Highly recommend Kelly's Automotive!
This shop is amazing. I have every confidence in their work. They are friendly, professional, and honest. My Dad used them and I come up from NYC because I won't let anyone service my car. They are really an A1 shop.
Kelly's saved the day!! After making a mistake and getting an oil change at another local auto repair shop simply because they were open on Sunday I ended up paying the price. I woke up today to go to work after coming home from a trip from Atlantic City yesterday to a pool of oil under my vehicle. I had to call out from work and see if I could get in to Kelly's for them to take a look at it. Even though it was last minute they were able to get me in this afternoon. I left my car and prayed that it wouldn't be too expensive of a bill. When I got my call this afternoon they let me know that the oil filter from my last oil change was not tightened and the bolt on the oil Pan was also not tightened. They could have told me anything and I would have paid to fix my car but they were completely honest And only charged me for the 2 qt of synthetic oil that I was down. I am so grateful that we have such a wonderfully honest mechanic in our area. If this had happened when I was in Atlantic City I highly doubt that they would have only charged me only for the oil and I probably would have ended up with a bill in the hundreds if not a $1000 or more. I am so grateful for the awesome crew over at Kelly's and I won't make the mistake of going somewhere else just because they're open on the weekend again!
Took my vehicle in for an inspection and I am very impressed. I was taken at my appointed time and my vehicle was inspected in the required time by PA DOT. I was told about all of the systems that were inspected after my inspection. I paid a fair price for the work performed. What sealed the deal is the friendliness of the staff. I was greeted upon entering the facility by a cheerful smiling young lady and I was thanked for my business when I left. I feel I was treated like a true customer and that's hard to find these days. Of you need an inspection or repair I highly recommend Kelly's
These people are the best. We were having issues with our car,and had to postpone returning home to Florida. They analyzed the car and found the problem, ordered the part,and fixed it promptly. The man who did the work came out and explained everything that I wanted to know without having to ask. This made me very comfortable with them doing the work. I couldn't have been more pleased with a repair shop. The neighbor recommended them and for that I gfatefull. To the whole shop staff ,Thankyou.
This may be my first google review, I have to say Kelley’s Automotive repair is by far the best car repair experience I’ve ever had. They got me in last minute to replace a rim, tires, oil change and inspection. Everyone was very professional and helpful, everything was handled very quickly and no unnecessary upsells. Ive had most of my work done previously at larger shops such as Mavis and Jack Williams. I would only consider using Kelley’s Automotive Repair from now on!
Recently had an inspection done at Kelly's. They were very thorough and were very helpful when I was upset about the issues my car had after just being bought from a used dealer. The ladies (wish I could remember their names) were able to calm me down and give me advice. $40 for a pass or fail inspection isn't bad at all especially with the quality work they provide! Will go there for all my car needs!
I walked in hoping to just make an appointment to fix the trunk hinges and my glass for the driver's side mirror. The mechanic was nice and very helpful. Although he could not fix my mirror due to the weather, he did fix my trunk door free at no charge. I saw $90.00 for labor. I knew I was going to pay 90.00 plus taxes. He fixed it in no time at all. Happy customer. Will be coming back. Thank you
I recently moved to Dingman. I can't tell you how nice it was to find such a great mechanic right around the corner from me. I brought my 2 cars to Kelly's for inspections and a repair. They do excellent work. Not only that, they are friendly, courteous and efficient. The young woman in the office was pleasant and helpful. I can't recommend them enough. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.!
I took my car to a different mechanic for inspection and they recommended $4100 in repairs going so far as disconnecting the heater linkage so the heater didn't work (worked before).
Took my car into Kelly's and my car passed inspection with no problems... they found two minor needed repairs not related to the inspection.
That's the difference between an honest repair shop and a crooked shop.
I recommend Kelly's without reservation.
Going to Kelly's has always been a pleasant experience. I've been coming to this shop for about 6 years and have never been disappointed. Honest and reliable work that is always done in a timely manner! I never have to worry about unneeded work getting done or paying more than I should for any service I've had done.
Highly recommend this shop to anyone, for anything you need done to pretty much any vehicle!
