Tatamy Auto Shop is a shady, unreliable auto body shop. Their shop is a mess, reflecting their lack of professionalism. Staff/Owners are distrustful, completing half assed work and causing issues not existing prior. Communication is poor. The quality of their work is subpar. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
Never have I ever had a shop that went above and beyond for me, the way the guys at Tatamy Auto did for me! I’m beyond grateful to have them and am 1000% pleased with the results!
Don’t do it. Find another mechanic. When your engine is destroyed after having a warranty for their work, they will refuse to fix their mistake nor refund you. Suing doesn’t work either… they have property liens. Find any other mechanic.
I had my brakes changed at Tatamy Auto in the summer of 2023. The brakes squealed excessively from the moment they were put on the car. I took my car back multiple times to have them checked. Each time they checked them, they said they could hear them squealing but the brakes were fine. Eventually, I took their word for it and dropped it. Two years later I am being told by another mechanic that my brakes are really bad and need to be replaced again. I do not drive my van excessively. Tatamy swears I put more than 30,000 miles on my van which I do not believe is true. I have never driven more than 7,500-10,000 miles per year. Learned my lesson and will be documenting mileage every time I take my van in for repairs or service from now on. Tatamy will not stand by their work and replace the faulty brakes they put on my car. They told me they aren't faulty because they never failed. Good thing they didn't fail, but they are still faulty in the sense that they have squealed excessively since they were first put on and there is no way they should have to be replaced now. Tatamy didn't help me then to figure out why they squealed so much and they refuse to stand by their work now. Also, they charged me $1200 for new brakes in 2023 and my new mechanic is only charging me $900. Clearly, Tatamy overcharged me.
Claimed they were coming to tow my car… they apparently lied and told my roadside assistance place they towed my car and never towed it. Ignored follow up calls from my roadside assistance provider leaving me stranded for 4 hours.
These guys are amazing!! Got a flat 2 hours away from home and AAA was charging not just a membership of $59 but also a same day signup fee of $65 which totaled to $120 AND $5 every mile for travel which would’ve been $580 equaling to $700 total. I was stuck and a mess, a young female who didn’t know what to do LOL. My car had no spare and the rip in the tire was huge! These guys saved me, they were able to help me with my budget and the truck made it to my pin in less than 10 minutes to take my car and I home safely! Thank you so much.
Do not take your car here this guy will destroy your car this guy matt does not want to take responsibility for his actions hired him to replace the starter on my dads car and he did replace it but he not with out causing over $1500 in other damages he got a wire harness stuck between the stater that he replaced and the transmission as seen in pictures which caused the car to go in to limp mode gave him a call and just got the run around talked to his employee about it showed him pics and he agreed that that was wrong matt did not do anything to resolve the issue instead wanted to to charge $280 for 2 hours of diagnostics like come on dude are you blind you cant look over your work towed it to another shop that diagnosed it car ended up needing a new ecu and fuse box. That tatamy auto service fried DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE see you in court matt im already takeing all the necessary steps with the boro of tatamy for consumer protection against this business so this dosent happen to any one else
We were headed for a little vacation in our RV and our serpentine belt shredded. Pulled into Tatamy Auto and they got us back on the road quickly. Great customer service good prices!! I would definitely recommend them. Thank you for the fast great service!!!
Great service and communication! Very professional, honest, and reasonable prices. They replace rusted / broken fuel tank straps in my 2004 Toyota 4Runner. They also replaced a fog light relay. I thought it was a short and they found it was the relay and fixed it in minutes. Very knowledgeable & trustworthy mechanics. Highly recommend!
I brought my car to tatamy auto service to get an axle put on next thing I know they call me telling me I need a transmission a long with break line and lower control arm..I told them that the car is only three weeks old how is going to need all those parts..I had to call the police they told that this is a civil matter so now I'm taking them to court.. the mechanic Crest is a crook sailing part's cars don't need..
Very nice place, the staff are very respectful of property, friendly, go above and beyond and don't charge an arm and a leg. Honest work.
I don't go to mechanics very often as I do most work myself but these guys are always ready to help and do great work!

Recently moved from NY and was wary about having to find a shop that I could trust. We put our trust in the guys at Tatamy auto and were not disappointed. We brought our one vehicle in for an oil change and they did it quickly and found another issue that we kind of knew we had but didn't want to say anything as we've made that mistake before and other shops would just sell you stuff that wasn't needed. They didn't try to charge me obnoxious amounts of money, try to talk down to me (as I'm a woman). They spoke to me like they actually cared about whether my vehicle was safe to drive, made accommodations in regards to me bringing in my vehicle on Saturday's even though they were packed and were honest about how long I had before certain repairs needed fixing. I have now used them about 4 times including another vehicle I have and will continue to use them. I'm so glad this was not as painful to find someone as I initially thought it would be.
After Mavis Nazareth failed to properly install an oil filter, refuse help, and blame my valve cover gaskets on a 32k mile truck, I brought here to Tatamy. Diagnosed an improperly installed oil filter, ordered new filter and had delivered, installed and topped off all in the parking lot in less than hour. Will continue to bring all auto service needs here. Thank you!

I needed state inspection asap. Mine had expired. Firestone 4 day wait. Tatamy Auto Service made time for me the same day realizing how concerned I was about driving it so far past when it was due. Great guys. Excellent work. Highly recommend.
Terrible experience. I am out of $1000 with a car that I haven't been able to move for about a year. I still have a engine leak that they weren't able to fix. And instead of admitting that . They kept saying it could be this or it could be that. I allowed it untill I realized they had no idea what they were doing. And when I had decided to take my car somewhere to get a second opinion. My other than my oil leak my perfectly running car all of the sudden didn't turn on. And when I confronted them on it they had no idea why it didn't turn on. After being at there shop for a month. It has been a nightmare. You can trust them with the small things but anything major I highly recommend you go to a shop that knows what they are doing rather than drag you along. Our cars are our way to get around and way to important to become a maybe this or that. I learned my lesson that cost me over a $1000.
I took my daughters car in to get an inspection, all the places in Monroe County were so busy. They got me in within 48 hours and they were so nice and very helpful. Recommend!! ?
If I could give them a zero I would they replaced my rear drums not only did they over charge me when the cover for the drum came off they tried to blame me I dont recomend them seem like the type of place that likes to have come back and dont believe them when they say they will warranty there work it's not with out accusations I tried to tell them the brakes where not installed correctly when he rudely implied that it was not their fault and swore it was done correctly but last time I checked the cover is not supposed to fall off when the tire is off the truck
Very customer service oriented. Told them the issue with car, found the problem and took care of it. Amount wasn't too bad. Their service and they demeanor and professionalism were worth every penny.
After two plus years having my cars maintained by Tatamy Auto Service, I continue to be very pleased with the service I receive. As an owner of a 2008 BMW with over 140K miles, Daniel BMW has provided premium service, but unfortunately at a premium cost that I always don't want to pay. Tatamy Auto Service may not be the best looking shop in town, but I can always count on great service, fair pricing, reliable work and my car treated with the utmost care. With confidence I continue to recommend these guys for whatever your car may need. I'm never concerned about paying for work or parts that are not needed.
Good quality work. When I had my mini cooper I brought it to them but minis are new to them so I understood the struggle. But just recently had them work on my classic benz and love the quality and wholesomeness they provide.

These guys are awesome! I called with a problem I was having with aftermarket parts on my 2015 WRX and Matt and Noah were able to get me in the very next day and were able to fix the issue right on the spot! They were extremely reasonable with the service charge and I will definitely be returning!
