We moved to Lancaster from a small town in WV where we operated a security alarm business. We sold the business in 1999 and moved to Lancaster in 2000. Needless to say we brought a lot of our alarm equipment with us, including a bunch of various types of wire. The wire took up a good amount of space in our garage, and we finally (19 years later) decided that we weren't going to use it and it was time to get rid of it. My wife had contacted All-Met Recycling to make sure they would accept the wire, so when we arrived we were greeted by 2 really nice workers. They told us that the wire had to be removed from the boxes and spools and immediately began helping us remove the wire from the boxes and spools - nice!! We loaded 2 bins full of wire and rolled them into the shop to be weighed. After the wire was weighed we had to wait a bit for the one worker who had access to the cash room to pay us, but it was understandable. A holiday week and only 3 guys were working - and they were super busy. But we were taken care of and we were surprised at how much our wire was worth. It was a good bit more than we thought!! These guys are great. They explained the whole process, answered all of our questions and were super polite despite the fact that they were crazy busy - and these dudes were hard workers!! We were treated very well and rewarded handsomely for our effort (not much effort on our part), so if you've got a bunch of "something" give them a call and find out if they recycle it. You may be surprised!!
Got me in and out in just a few minutes even with an annoying customer trying to basically steal from the business in front of me. The guy I worked with was easy to talk to and fair prices. Would go again.
Just left the place, it has an old fashion feel that I've never experienced before. The people are super nice and great service. Will be going again very soon.
Very helpful! Great price. Encouraged my 2 year old son to watch the crane and were just so nice about it! Will definitely go back again when I need to recycle!
