Was hoping to support a local business. If you know exactly what you need and you already know your part number you are fine... If you have any questions, because you are not an expert in the brands they sell then get ready for an attitude. Parts department is curt and dismissive. If you are going to "explain" how the "parts business" works to customers you are missing the point. You are just losing sales that are all going online... sorry.
Best dealer I’ve worked with for repairs. Bought a privately owned 2022 XCR 850 snowmobile and after the first weekend I lost my antifreeze. Called Moyers and they said they would rather wait until fall but can get it done in about a week if I wanted to go riding again. This was also late in the season for snowmobile work (early March). A week later sled was done perfectly on warranty with new coolant bottle and extra work I asked them to do. Shop is also spotless. Highly recommend you them
Horrific customer service over the phone. Called to ask a simple question regarding mower replacement parts and was met a dismissive attitude. Interesting that when you look at the other negative reviews you’re quick to defend your lack of customer service as being too busy. Too busy to care maybe ? If you want people to support local small businesses maybe try being more helpful or just kind in general. if you can’t help me then say it instead of being condescending.
Been heading to Moyers since 2004 buying multiple different Polaris Snowmobiles. I can’t say anything but amazing things about sales, service and everything. Even when I am away in Canada snowmobiling they are always a phone call away if there are any problems. Would recommend if you are looking for a new snowmobile or any outdoor power equipment.
Place is great. Randy is a no nonsense, honest straight up person willing to educate and ensure his customers are satisfied. Bought a bad boy and also parts for my simplicity tractors. He has a great stock of parts. I stopped in for belts the other day. Not only were they cheaper than online but was able to get pointers and wisdom regarding my tractor projects I would have never got just ordering online and helped me make sure it was the correct belt because online listed 2. Huge value in the personal shop the internet will never have! Stop in and have a look. And when people say things like they don't make them like they used to... stop in and see Simplicity and Bad Boys because they are still made great. Stop looking at lawn equipment at Lowes!
I bought a Toro walk behind mower here in 2005. It still runs flawlessly, but after moving to a larger yard and spending way too much on contract mowing for years I came back. Moyers sold me a used tractor that was not exactly given to them in top condition, but they made me aware of this and I made the informed decision to purchase it. It has more than paid for itself, it runs great and I could not be more satisfied customer.
I just purchased a Bad Boy ZT Avenger (5/15/23) from Moyer's Outdoor Power Equipment in Harleysville Pa and couldn't be happier with my experience! Randy and his team have been nothing but helpful with our baseball community that he was the first and only place I wanted to shop. Moyer's is quick with response time and service to our league. It was now my turn to purchase a new mower.
After days and hours of research, Bad Boy mowers was my first choice. I came into Moyer's on a Friday evening and Randy was very helpful with selecting the perfect mower for my 1.5 acres. He spent plenty of time explaining the difference with each of models I was looking at and did not push one model over the next. Randy wanted to make sure I got the best mower for my property. I originally chose the MZ Magnum and while waiting for my delivery, I decided to upgrade to the ZT Avenger. Randy was patient during our conversation and very helpful with explaining the differences again to make sure that I made the right choice. The mower was inspected and serviced the proper way before delivery which makes me confident in my decision by choosing to go through Moyer's Outdoor Power Equipment rather than a big box store.
Fast forward a few days after shipment, a Bad Boy Promotion popped up and Randy didn't hesitate to work with the Sales Rep. to stand by the promotion and award it to me! Randy actually called me!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced from a local business. Annoyed and curt on the phone when calling ahead to see if they might have a part in stock …oh of a brand they are a distributor for.
My first visit to this establishment. Randy, the owner was extremely helpful with all of my questions. They sell many brands of lawn mowers and they also service all of their equipment that they sell. I would highly recommend shopping at this place, before looking anywhere else for all equipment, not just lawn mowers.
Randy was very friendly and helpful. We came from out of state to pick up a Bad Boy lawnmower. He had exactly what we were looking for and he held it overnight for us untill we could get there. He helped load it in the back of our truck and answered all questions. The shop and store are very clean and neat.
I do highly recommend him and we will definitely be going back.
Took my 3 year old husqvarna small mower in because it wouldn’t start. 120.00 later took it home and it ran for almost 1cut ( not a big lawn that’s why I have small mower). Once again it wouldn’t start. Took it back and he proceeded to tell me my 250.00 mower was a cheap piece of junk. Never said this before he charged me 120.00 to fix. If he did I would have bought new mower. After he serviced found broken plug which he just put in. Ask me how I broke it which I didn’t. No trees or obstacles on my small lawn. A truly horrible experience. Would not recommend or ever go back
Called to see if they had a part in stock for my mower (I had the model and serial number) so I didn’t have to waste a trip to the store if they didn’t have it. I was told that unless I came to the store in person they wouldn’t look up the part for me. I was told I had to do the research myself. Sort of defeats the purpose of calling. I’m not a mechanic and i thought a local place would be helpful. I wanted to give my money to a local business but I guess I’ll be ordering it from amazon.
In response to the owners comment it was purchased from you, and no one even asked me where I bought it. Im assuming you still sell toro.
My son and I just picked up our two Polaris (Sleds). Had an incredible experience. Great shop and a fantastic owner who cares about his clients. I’ve been running a tree service business for almost 30 years and really like the way I was treated highly recommend
Nice sized Place, easy to find, handicap accessible, and free parking out in front. I had no problems with them with ordering parts for my Husqvarna lawn mower. When the parts came in they called me to let me know. I was very happy with the staff as well as the bill.
Rob was great. I called in the morning and he helped me walk through my options. I bought a Simplicity Broadmoor Mower. I went in later that day, he trained me on the mower, how to care for it, how to remove the deck, and the maintenance schedules. I was on a tight schedule and they offered to deliver the next day. I purchased the mower that night (5pm), it was assembled and on my driveway at 10 am the next morning. He also helped me with the rebate paperwork. Great experience.
Nothing but positives to report on my experiences with Moyer's Outdoor Power Equipment. I purchased a 2018 Polaris snowmobile from Moyer's last year after calling around looking for a specific model from multiple dealerships in PA, NJ, and NY. Randy was very helpful in identifying what I was looking for based on where I ride and even though he didn't have the 2017 left over sled I was looking for I felt he gave me a great deal on the 2018 which happen to be a better sled. The service team was very accommodating in getting me in for a preseason inspection last week. Hope to be working with Moyer's for many more years to come. LET IT SNOW!!!
The service is outstanding and they are very fair with their pricing. The store has many display units of a variety of items. They also have quality maintenance which has left us with great snowmobiling experiences on older models. Highly recommend a visit here for your putdoor needs!
love going here very knowledgable staff I've bought many powersports and lawn care items and never had a single issue. I've recommended them to friends and family. Randy is a stand up guy and easy to deal with. I only wish they dealt with Polaris offroad vehicles and timbersled products as well so i could go to the same place for everything!
I own a Husqvarna riding mower that ended up not starting and making noise. I called Moyer about 2 months ago and set up an appointment for them to come pick up my mower and fix the issue. After I pick up the mower I receive a phone call from them saying the mower could use a tuneup as well so I told them to go ahead and do that while they had it. They told me the repair would be $350 plus tax with the tuneup. The day they brought the mower back I was handed an invoice for $470. I called Moyer questioning this invoice and they told me that it took their tech longer than expected to balance the mower’s deck so that’s why it cost more. Personally I don’t believe I should be charged because their tech is having problems doing his job, that would be his fault, not mine. While questioning this charge, I was told by the owner “All Husqvarna owner expect repairs to be done for free anyway”. Also when returning the mower, their driver left a good size tire track on my front lawn. It was the day after it rained so it left a good mark. I was told they would come out and fix this but they never did. Now, 2 months down the line, my mower is doing the same exact thing it was before and not starting and making the same noise. Obviously Moyer did not fix my mower’s issue since it returned so quickly. I will never do business with this company again as they are obvious scammers.
