My mentally and physically handicapped sister was admitted for rehab and did not have a good experience. Most of the rehab staff, especially Jen, were kind, but there were many that were indifferent to the needs of the residents. The facility itself was not very clean and taken care of. Rooms, including bathrooms, were not cleaned everyday, trash was not emptied for several days, and even the public areas such as the halls were not cleaned daily. My sister arrived at Greenwood in the early morning and she was not given any of her hospital prescribed meds until the next day. Somehow sending for her meds to the facility pharmacy was "missed" and she went without several crucial medications including two doses of antibiotics and anticoagulants. In addition, her oxygen tank ran out during her first nights stay and even though she alerted a night nurse, no new tank or oxygen concentrator was provided. She went without much needed oxygen for several hours. She was left in an incontinence brief from 10 AM, the time she arrived at the facility, until the next morning. My sister was put in a wheel chair each morning and except for her daily rehab therapy she remained in that chair until bed time. She was never once offered to sit in a comfortable chair. The rehab staff were great and my sister looked forward to the one hour a day she was able to leave her room and go to rehab for therapy. When requesting to transfer my sister to another facility we were met with several days of Greenwood not complying in a timely manner. The day of transfer a nurse came to my sister and told her she was being transferred in 1 hour. None of her family contacts or the new facility were ever notified the transfer was occurring that day. The whole experience at Greenwood was very concerning and disappointing for my sister and our family.

I am not one to typically write a review but felt it’s important when families are choosing a nursing home for their loved one. Greenwood was a clean facility with compassionate, attentive staff who truly cares about residents’ comfort, dignity, and safety. The nursing team was professional, went above and beyond, and kept us informed, making a difficult time much more reassuring. We are truly grateful for the care and support provided and would confidently recommend this facility to others.

I spent many hours with my mother while at Greenwood Village and was pleasantly pleased with the quality care and friendliness of the staff. My mother arrived at Greenwood not able to walk and by the time she left she was able to walk 50 or more feet with a special walker. She is making good progress at home. Kudos to Bet and Dan from Therapy and all the staff that work with my mom.

I came to Greenwood for rehabilitation after a shoulder dislocation. The staff was very knowledgeable and kind throughout my stay which greatly improved my physical and mental well-being.

My experience with most of the staff was pretty good! Some stand out as excellent care providers. Amber, Ellie, Jen, Rachel, April, Bri, Rebecca Kordel, deserve to have a shout out as they do their jobs well! Also they have the best Pt staff! Everyone one of them were so kind and made it fun!

If you have loved ones here and you don’t check them, please for their sake, check them!!! My gram has been a resident here for quite sometime. The neglect wasn’t immediately noticed, there were red flags for sure. The biggest red flag is drugging patients up to quiet them up. (Keep in mind the doctor here approved this bc they have to get orders from him, and my gram isn’t a crazy combative Just yells every now and then) My gram wound up with flu a week ago. My family visited often and constantly was telling staff about confusion and trusting them she was ok. Well yesterday my mom asked again to check for uti in which she was told it wasn’t protocol. Last night my mom got a bad feeling and called in and the nurse said you know you can send her to er and my mom said yeah let’s do that. When ambulance got there her sugar was 40 and she needed narcan(from the nursing home drugging her up after my mom told the staff including the doctor this was to be stopped) She also has bed sores, blood clots everywhere and we were told it’s unlikely she will survive this. As of now she is in the icu fighting from her life from septic shock from a uti (the not necessary test) I know nursing homes are understaffed but if you cannot provide a person with decent amount of care, then you shut your business down until you can! You’re sure taking the money and providing little to no care. As for nurses there some were ok, some I think cared and some were very nasty. It’s almost like they hated being forced to do what they signed up to do. I wish they’d step back and think someday this could be them. Please if you have loved ones here, please check on them, please be their voice!!

As an administrator myself and a nurse who came there for a first and last time my vote is no. Received login 1.45 hours after shift began, making med pass an issue. Environment not welcoming.

My mom was in Greenwood for rehabilitation and her care was extraordinary ftom the moment we got her there. She has dementia, and was treated very well. I give the facility and especially the physical therapy department a 5 star rating. Thank God for all of the love that you shared with my Mother.

To start off, they have a handful of very nice staff. However, my grandmother was just there for rehabilitation with a broken arm. The treatment she received was HORRIBLE. She was constantly told that a person would be there to help her but they constantly “forgot” she even needed help. There’s no way they just forgot, because there are loud buzzers signifying that a patient needs help. Instead, often times, they would simply stand around and ignore patients. They have no cleaning staff on the weekends, and the bathrooms were disgusting to say the least. They claimed that insurance extended her care due to a bedsore, but still sent her home with two wounds on her backside.

My grandmother was in a rehabilitation facility to gain strength because she could not stand or walk. She was supposed to be there for 20 days but came home early due to poor care. She needed to use the bathroom and ended up spending two hours on the toilet, which put strain on her spine. This happened multiple times, even after it was discussed in a meeting. They promised to address it with all the caregivers, but it continued to happen. Another incident occurred when my family and I visited my grandmother. We wanted to take her outside for some fresh air. We were told we needed a nurse's approval, so we went to the 100B hall to find the nurse. The caregiver directed me to her, and I approached the desk where she was sitting. She was scrolling through her phone for a good five minutes without acknowledging me, even though I was standing right in front of her. It wasn't until I said "excuse me" that she finally responded. My grandmother was there to strengthen her legs but was instead made to feel like she was crazy, senile, and had dementia, which she does not have. They tried to excuse this behavior by accusing my mother of harassment when all she did was address the poor care her mother was receiving. They also accused my mother of smoking vapes, even though she only smokes cigarettes, and they were in her car. If you want your family member to be properly cared for, I would not recommend Greenwood Village for your loved ones!

My grandmother was at Greenwood for a short time for rehab. The staff was great with her. I would recommend their therapy department. Amber from Nursing was always so attentive to our needs. She went above and beyond.

My Husband, Bruce Nielsen, received in home physical therapy from Marian and Beth at Greenwood Nursing Home Therapy Department. We are independent residents of Greenwood Village. The therapy was excellent and helped my 87 year old husband recover from a recent medical condition. I would highly recommend the Physical Therapy Department to anyone needing strength recovery. My father was in Greenwood, a couple different times prior to his death. He enjoyed the staff, aids, and nurses. He liked the food and had really good care. His needs were met and he was well taken care of. I would recommend this facility to others. We know that.... All places have issues, but none that interfered with the great care my dad received . Thanks to all!!

When I was in the Lewistown business office I was dealing with Brooke, and she was a very pleasant young lady and handled all our concerns very professionally and went over and above what we was expecting and not only did she take care of our current concern but she called back about two or three weeks later to check up to make sure everything was still ok and nothing else was wrong. This is and employee that is hard to find that is truly concerned about your company and it’s patience. Truly an exceptional team member…..

My brother has been in Greenwood since the end of March or the beginning of April. In the beginning it wasn't so bad. Now it is getting worse. Some of the staff cares, but others don't. Some of the staff that really care tells my brother they are sorry, some just walk away and doesn't come back. He is to have his wound changed two times a day. There has been times he hasn't had his wound changed two times a day. Then there are times on his floor their food sits out in the hallway. Like today it was in the hallway before noon. They didn't get there lunch until 12:35. I realize they are understaffed big time, but maybe they shouldn't take their meals to their floor until they are ready to give them their meal. My brother is also Type 1 diabetic and a double amputee. Thank God he can speak up.

Over a year since my mother passed away and I still have nightmares and flashbacks about her care at Greenwood. Not just hers- but everyone there. I witnessed and heard some terrible things with a few of the nurses. My mothers lewey body dementia combined with early onset Alzheimer’s was extremely challenging but absolutely no excuse…. Thankfully my mom is now at peace. But for your peace of mind in regards to your loved one- I advise exhausting all other options! All other options.

I realize everyone is short staffed; however, there is no reason a loved one should be treated the way my mom and others are being taken care of. Very disappointed in the care and compassion she received in the short time she was there. We hired a wonderful private in-home health care person and got her out of there.

Visited my gram. I was greeted by someone who worked with her all day. She was excited to share that gram had done a great job eating today and she was very chatty all day. My gram's needs were met very quickly and everyone treated her kindly and with dignity.

I could not, would not recommend Greenwood Village Rehab or Long term care. Very unprofessional. After my Father’s rehab we werent given any kind of report on his condition, what they accomplished daily or was given an opportunity to meet with the doctor who was in charge of his rehab and the one who made the determination that it was unsafe for Dad to return home and that he needed permanent 24/7 care. Dad was moved to their Long term care floor, until we could find better options and he became more depressed and almost lethargic like each time I visited. Although supposedly 27/7 care, they allowed him to stay in his bed, with curtains drawn and lights off daily. No exercise except when we came in and took him for walks. They never encouraged him to participate in their programs. He contracted Covid at one point and at another point while back in hospital because of passing out, was found to be dehydrated as well. Honestly, we expected better care for the 10k per month price. The nurses station has their phones sent to voicemail and they literally never returned our calls. Likewise, their Social services dept never return our calls. The only professional in the place is Jenny who mans the front desk and is a very caring individual. If you plan on bringing your loved one to Greenwood Village, I suggest you keep Area on Aging on speed dial. We are now in the process of moving Dad to a more professional and respectful place. A place he can call home. Hopefully if all goes as planned, this almost three month debacle will be over this Friday. Im not one to normally give bad reviews but I would be remiss if I didn't relay this experience.

DO NOT. I REPEAT. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! NEGLECTFUL. INCOMPETENT. Wouldn't even put 1 star but I had to select one to post review. Family member was in there less than 24 hours and he was neglected to the point he turned septic. EMS had NO contact with staff when they arrived to transport. They couldnt be bothered to give them the info needed. Filing a report and will scream it from the mountain tops. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!

When my mom was in the Dementia unit, (@ what is no longer Ohesson Manor and is now Greenwood Village), I liked most of the staff and enjoyed going in to visit our mother sometimes often DAILY! If there were any bully's, our mom would let us know and my sister kept up on EVERYTHING; for her OWN PEACE OF MIND! I wish that they would have had had an Activity Coordinator! There should have been more done with them in that unit however, the WORKERS are totally given way too many patients to care for; and that’s due to the lack of employees! I appreciate the ones who do their job with loving care and kindness! People who don’t care much for people should NOT WORK IN THIS FIELD! The elderly in these homes are/were mothers, brothers, sisters, son's, daughters, men, cousins and someone who not only DESERVES to be treated with dignity and grace in the last year's of their lives! My brother, Brian Worley, now goes here and other places to share the love of God ??? and share his love ❤? for music! It takes special people to go there, take care of our loved ones that we are entrusting them to! God Bless ? you for Nursing Home staff that give these amazing people the propper respect they DESERVE! FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY ?❤, I PERSONALLY THANK YOU!

My mother was there for 51/2 months. Staff was very caring but the office staff was very unprofessional and did not return calls. Had a lot of her clothing go missing and instead of looking for them they just told us to buy her more and they would reimburse us. When we got her moved to another facility they sent someone else’s glasses with her so now she has no glasses and we have to buy her new ones and a resident st Ohesson has no glasses. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

My mom was their for a good amount of time and is currently in a home in state college called hearthside and is not being taken care of appropriately. And is REALLY trying too get back into Ohesson only place she will go to. So I’d say this is a fantastic home/rehab would love to thank the staff and everyone at Ohesson

Mother is there for rehab after heart surgery. Staff argue and curse loudly. She was left in a wheelchair instead of helped into bed late last night. She had no walker or assistance to get to the bathroom. Staff insensitive and uncaring. Hoping to get her out of there ASAP to a more professional place for rehab. I would not recommend this place for anyone.
