Did not have my wipes blades. Did not find the staff to be helpful. They only wanted me to purchase the higher priced blades. So over to Auto Zone I went, where they were stocked, less expensive and staff came to the Isle to assist me.

Oct 7-2025 I was treated poorly. I needed to return an item and couldn't get my money back. And also got what i needed in a different auto store all together. . I had to go to another location for a return.
Guess it all depends on who's working and in charge but this day there was 2 women
Carmen was absolutely wonderful ! He was incredibly kind and even came outside to help me with my battery issues and explained everything I would need. I definitely recommend everyone to come here especially if Carmen is working! The rest of the staff were incredibly nice. It was very comforting knowing I was given great advice from a stranger who was looking out for my safety on the road. Great great guy.
My daughter and I needed to purchase replacement windshield wipers and had no idea how many different kinds are available. As we were clearly confused, an employee named Sidney came over to ask if we needed help. He was the most helpful and nicest young man. He took his time to explain the different types and suggested a warranty plan. I usually don’t buy the warranties in those types of purchases, but this one made so much sense after it was explained. You don’t find customer service like that these days . He is a very valuable employee. I will go out of my way in the future to frequent this particular store. Thanks Sidney!
Stopped in for new wipers on my Tahoe. Gentleman was extremely helpful and pleasant. He replaced my old ones and I was on my way again in no time. Great service.!!
The customer service is none existent they are extremely rude and unpleasant to deal with every time I go in they never help at all and you are honestly better off going across the street to auto zone where you actually get help and the works actually like their jobs would not recommend going to advanced auto at all.
Purchased a battery there 9 months ago. It stopped starting my car 3 months ago. My mechanic had it for 10 hrs, tested everything, said its the battery. They refused to give me a replacement. Took the old one home won't start my car. Would never go there again
This is my preferred auto parts store compared to AutoZone, A&A, or Napa. They have always had what I wanted, actually in stock, at the price I expect. Can't really ask for more than that!
Pretty good auto parts store but the online ordering isn't that good. It told me when I placed my order to come to the store in about 30 minutes to pick up my order but when I got there my order wasn't going to be ready for another two hours.
Uh so so to be honest .It.s not the same when they first opened.Everytime i go it.s a new person and it.s like only 2 on and some have knowlege of cars or trucks and most not .So your left guessing .Plus at times when you need help you feel like your bothering them because of their reaction when you ask.no thankyou or Hello or a smile it.s like man at least pretend you like your job....But that my feel on it.By all means check them and you decide.I mean they some things you needs like any place it.s the prices you worry about.
When I asked for a slide hammer and a flange the associate asked me what a flange was? (You need the slide hammer flange to use the slide hammer) he had no clue when he found the slide hammer it didn't come with the flange and he said they didn't have one.
And its not the first time associates at this location were all clueless as to what a tool was for or what additional parts it required to use.
I've only got in there for small things but they have what you need. The employees care about serving the customers to the best of their ability. They are very helpful to those like me that aren't mechanically/automotivelly inclined.
I like advance auto for the good prices. If you use retailmenot you can usually order online, pick-up in store and save 30%. I like the pittston and luzerne locations the best.
