Spoke to Julie to try to figure out the difference between two similar Interstate AGM batteries. She was extremely helpful in explaining the differences and which one was right for my application. These people take their batteries seriously. I was the only one in the store at the time, just trying to get a battery for my tractor. It looks like a small office, but the woman at the counter took one look at my battery and said 'Oh, that's an M2478' or whatever it was. She starts calling on the radio with military precision to someone in the warehouse that I have no idea where they're hiding. A minute later, out pops a guy with the battery I needed. Same battery that lasted me 5 NEPA winters without charging. I'll be back in another 5 years.
Do not purchase a "refurbished" battery there. I got one for my daughter's car because I didn't have the money at the time for a new battery, it lasted 6 weeks and left her stranded.😔

During the week of March 20, 2023; both Missy and Marissa provided an Exceptional Customer Experience by providing a wealth of knowledge and information about a past battery purchase regarding if it would fit in a future vehicle. They were very pleasant, personable, knowledgeable, and displayed outstanding communication both over the phone and in-person. I'd recommend for anybody to do business at Interstate Battery of Pocono Mountains, and ask for Missy and Marissa.
Dealing with car issues and then the garbage AutoZone battery went bad, called and talked to a really nice lady whom gave me prices and mentioned a cheaper alternative... perfect for my budget! A few minutes later drove over and pleasantly greeted and picked up a brand new looking 'blemished unit' as they referred to them..took it home and got it into my car no problem and started right up! Perfect price And quality along with good service. 2 thumbs up 👍👍
A boat battery of mine went bad and this was the closest Interstate location (about an hour away). It was a complicated issue and could not be seen from the initial tests, but the owners and employees here didn't give up on me and solved the problem! I was never a customer at this location and they did not have to go above and beyond, but they did! I am thankful, and they saved me a lot of driving from heading to the original location. I'd highly recommend this location!

Buy your vehicle batteries directly from the source and save tons of money. They have new batteries or you can save a bunch of money on blemished ones.
Great family run place with a friendly environment. My battery died. I Didn't have much cash so they recommended a blem which was a great price for my budget and the battery was checked right in front of me so i knew it was properly charged. I know this battery will last me till i can afford to get a new one and they were nice enough to install it for me since i have no tools lol. Even though they don't install batteries they still did it for me! Better then buying and calling AAA to install lol. I would recommend everyone to buy a battery for them!
THE WORST!!!! After there employee put the battery I bought in my car. I came to realize 20 minutes later, that the battery they sold me was cracked and leaking battery acid all over causing damage to my car. Bill the owner does not know how to speak to a women or a customer. He does not know how to handle his business!
