I'm a pregnant mother of 3 who's due any day now. I had issues with my alternator in my vehicle which my children ride in. He was recommended by a nieghbor. Who said Henry's auto was only a few blocks away, so I dropped off my vehicle for an alternator to be replaced. Which should take an hour the most . dropped it off on a Tuesday and got a call back on a Monday that my vehicle was now done and ready to be picked up. Not only did it take a week but he had also charged me full price for a used alternator. So I sent my dad to pick up my vehicle and park it in front of my house,which he did and I didn't use it I trusted Henry being he was highly recommended that there were no issues,the next morning I had noticed a big red spot of what looked like blood under my van. Which my boyfriend checked and the nieghbor who recommended him; who is now dening him says it was a trannsmission oil leak.so being my step dad took it to Henry who I never meet who doesn't even know what I look like. my step father had looked and noticed this was done intentionally Henry got very defensive and said we don't do that here. But when my step father took it to him he put it on the lift and went straight to the leak without even using a flash light which was located on a pipe in the back of the trannsmission; the leak is within arms distance of the alternator. I was informed by my step dad and neighbor that mechanics are known for doing that to make you a repeat customer.so now I need to find a new mechanic to fix what Henry's auto had damaged on my vehicle. Before I give birth being I'm going to be in the hospital soon having my baby. I don't know why all this happened. Did I mention I have blonde hair blue eyes and am white. Which my step father is Hispanic. I don't know but this all points to discrimination. I don't know what to do about the situation I have pregnancy brain. And this really ruined my trust now for alot of people including my nieghbors and businesses in my area. And I can't believe he would sacrifice my family just to make a few extra dollars for his pocket. Does anyone out there know of a honest mechanic that actually cares for the safety of there custmers?
