A must to stop by. We went for Wicked for good and was very happy with the place. Clean bathrooms, good food, and an overall great time. Buy your tickets ahead. I will definitely return

So happy to have Shankweilers open. The new owners are incredible and they have really made some nice changes. Halloween on Halloween was great! The food prices are reasonable for a movie theater. The apple cider was a welcome treat. It's under an hour from Reading, so it's a trip worth taking!. It woud me great to see Christmas Vacation and Christmas Story as a double, probably chilly double feature. Keep up the great work at giving people tremendous memories.

Affordable and fun. Both kids and I loved it. Very friendly staff! Was our 1st trip there but definitely not our last!

The place was very clean and watching the movie was very enjoyable. A little expensive to watch an older film (Detroit Rock City) but the new owners are doing a great job and their biographical video that played before the movie started was extremely well done. Bravo!

It was good the one screen is huge and the other one is not so much so it was very hard to see because we had a truck and had to park further back, also when the other movie one the other screen was done all the lights turned on over there which made it super hard to watch our movie... The line for food took so so long, and when we did get our huge popcorn buckets the popcorn was kinda cold... All in all the kids liked it there but it could be fixed a little..

We had a great time. I hadn't been to a drive in movie in over 40 years! We sat inside the back of the car with our blanket and snacks and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. So many wonderful memories.

This place was AMAZING! The snack stand was top notch. Loved the prices and selection. We went there to go see the 50th anniversary of Jaws there and it was a great experience. Everything was nice and easy from parking to getting sound to enjoying a snack. I would go back any day in a heartbeat.

Me and my wife drove from over an hour away to attend they're first night market event. WOW that was so much fun, I absolutely hope they keep hosting events like this. I was so glad to hear all the vendors saying they're were amazed with the turn out. Everyone was so friendly and the food felt so nostalgic.

My wife and I live in New Jersey and the ride was worth every penny. Very affordable and clean. The concession stay is also very reasonable. We are very happy to see the 50th Anniversary Jaws on a big screen. Thank you for the excellent experience. We will definitely be back many time.

Shankweiler’s is such a fantastic place to go for a nice relaxing evening. Such a nice environment, prices are reasonable and the owners are absolutely lovely people. I’d suggest this place 1000 times over again.

I give it five stars just for the fact that they kept it a drive in. Brings back a lot of memories. Seen Jaws here for the 50th anniversary, I remember seeing it when it originally came out. It was pretty cool to see it on the big screen again .Nice small place and the owners here are wonderful. I would highly recommend taking a drive here drove all the way from Jersey only took an hour and a half well worth it.

This is a quaint little drive inn. Actually it's the first drive inn ever! ? . Went here for the 50th anniversary showing of "Jaws" . ? Great on Huge outside Movie screen ?. This place cost $12.00 an adult person to get in. The gates open up at 6:30 pm. They have free bathrooms, a small snack bar. And parking is two cars between blue poles and two trucks between the Yellow poles. If you are coming here best get to this Drive Inn early. For this Drive Inn is small. It's sometimes sells out fast depending on the movies playing. Yes All drive inns give you two moves per visit. Note once dark the movie doesn't start until about 39 to 25 minutes of ads and commercials and some puppy and cat clips are played????? The National Atthum wasn't played ? first time I ever been to a drive inn and the National Atthum was skipped! ? And no cartoon was played! Someone in our party stated the men's bathroom had a really bad odor! As for the snack bar they serve popcorn sodas, hot chocolate, coffee, candy, French fries, hamburger, hot dogs, pretzels. Funnel cakes. So if you are looking for something without salt you may want to bring it with you. ? This place is a great place to take the family on a summer early autumn evening. Note this place doesn't have a playground for the kids. A+ business

It was a great time. The cheeseburger was tasty. The sodas were large. The owners were very helpful. Double feature and we had great weather. Brought back memories of time gone by. It's worth the drive to experience movies under the stars.

Absolutely love this place. Prices are great and the people are even better. First drive in experience with my 7 month old son was a success. I can tell already this is going to be our favorite spot all summer.

Just got back from Lilo and Stitch, fabulous time! Fresh popcorn, and concession prices are beyond reasonable! Can't wait to go again when it's a tad warmer out!

Went this Saturday and had an amazing experience from start to finish. It was like stepping back in time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The lady at the front gate was amazing. She explained everything, so there was no confusion. The prices were very reasonable, especially for a double feature. I was presently surprised on how fun this was and will be going back for sure!

I feel so lucky to live within minutes of this theatre -- a piece of history right here in my area!! The owners are so nice and helpful, as is everyone who works there. Snack bar prices are affordable and all of the offerings are delicious (especially the French fries and popcorn!!). I've been going to this theatre since I was a kid and am just so thankful for the current owners who saved it from becoming something other than a drive-in!!

This place was sooo cool. The screen was bright and the sound via FM radio was perfect. Everyone who worked there just seemed super nice and were anxious to answer questions about the drive-in. Concessions were plenty and not expensive at all. Bathrooms leave a little to be desired ... My first time here but I hope to be back again real soon. Very enjoyable experience.

This is a wonderful and relaxing spot, and I highly recommend visiting. There are restrooms and a food stand for convenience. Although there’s only one screen, it’s large enough to be easily visible from anywhere in the parking lot. Cars park up front, while SUVs and trucks are directed to park farther back. One thing to note: the speakers at the front have low volume, so you’ll need to bring your own radio or use your car’s radio to listen. I was a little worried about my car battery dying, but everything worked out perfectly!

Such a fun drive-in movie theatre experience! Highly recommend. You can rent radios for $5 first come first serve. The snack bar has great options at reasonable prices. A great night out and happy to support them.

Great place to go. Plenty of space. Can sit in front of your car ( not recommended on a blanket on the ground) or in your car. Plenty of options at the snack stands. Clean bathrooms. You can rent a radio for $5+ if you didn't bring one or don't want to run your car on auxiliary power. Recommend calling to reserve a spot on weekends.

Great place to go relax and see a movie or two. Always a family-friendly environment. Snack stand has good choices the smell of popcorn. Yummmm get there a lik early if you wanna get in the front. Relax and enjoy the atmosphere

The oldest operating drive-in. Period. What could be more amazing? Maybe the fact they're open year round AND serve a slammin' vegan hot dog. The new owners are super kind and community-focused, too!

came here to see spiderman it was a lot of fun you listen to the movie from the radio in your car. they have a service to jump your battery in case it dies, but hopefully that does not happen! I get nervous about that I wanted to use a radio app on my phone, but it said station not available. not sure of any other loopholes than bringing your own radio but i do not own one. dogs are allowed on a leash. they had an ice cream truck the night i was there, i am not sure if that is normal. i recommend coming early, we arrived 20 minutes early and the place was almost full! maybe come 45 minutes- 1 hour early. overall, i had a great time here and will be back!

Soooooo much fun!!! I haven't been here since I was a teenager!!! We saw super Mario bros.... amazing movie btw. For qw bucks you get two movies, they have a great little snack bar (and it's very Reasonable) next time we'll buy food there, for 8.50 u can get a burger and fries... super cheap.

By far one of the best drive in theaters in Pennsylvania. Still has that old time feeling but is modern enough you can still enjoy the experience. Not all drive ins are as nice as this one and I'd definitely recommend this one if it's your first experience or you're just looking for a high quality drive in.

This is a pretty cool place for a new experience. The movies start when the sun sets, so usually around 9, though you can visit their website to figure out exact times. It's basically a large parking area where you park your car, set out your chairs or blankets and enjoy a cool movie. The cool thing here is, you can bring any food you want (no glass stuff) and eat it while watching the movie. It's a fun experience, maybe not for everyone but it's definitely worth going to at least once.
