Recycling company The Recycling Drop-Off Center, run by this recycling company, absolutely deserves five stars for how well they operate and how easy they make the entire recycling process. Every time I come here, I’m impressed with how organized, clean, and efficient everything is. A lot of recycling places can feel confusing or chaotic, but this one is the complete opposite. The layout makes perfect sense, the bins and stations are clearly labeled, and the flow of traffic is simple to follow. You pull in, sort what you have, and you’re done quickly without any frustration.
What stands out most is how helpful the staff is. If you’re not sure where something goes, they step in immediately with a friendly attitude and point you in the right direction. They never make you feel rushed or like you’re in the way. It’s obvious they actually care about the environment and want the community to recycle the right way.
I also appreciate how well-maintained the center is. There’s never garbage overflowing, never weird smells, and never a long wait. Everything feels smooth, professional, and reliable. In a world where recycling should be easier, this place sets the standard. If you want a stress-free, responsible place to drop off your recyclables, this is hands down the best option around. Highly recommend!
I really appreciate that the City of Allentown provides this recycling drop off center , it makes recycling larger quantities of things extremely quick and easy . It's a shame that some people utilizing the facility don't know how to sort their items properly and don't take the 2 minutes to put items in the proper location , showing themselves to be lazy and inconsiderate to the other people who have to work around the piles of mixed material just left wherever. Maybe the City should begin to aggressively enforce the regulations by mailing out " THANK YOU " fines for being ignorant and lazy.
The guy Paul who works outside in assisting everyone like me a local resident of Allentown, Pa. Is a really great guy! He always there to help and is very knowledgeable of what is okay to recycle there or not. I hope the city goves him a pay raise or promotes him!
