I had an excellent experience with Doug’s towing. My insurance agent had first called another company. All I got was delay after delay. The insurance company switched to Doug’s and I got an immediate response. The driver was in constant contact with me and got to me quickly. He was very courteous and helpful.

My car wouldn't start when I got done with my appointment (@7 pm on a dark cold night in February). I called AAA; usually it's at least an hour before a truck comes. But Doug's Transport called about twenty minutes later (even before AAA confirmed what towing company was being sent out!), and ten minutes later the truck was pulling up. The man was polite and efficient. He quickly decided to jump the battery before trying other options. My car started right away. The man advised me to keep it running for awhile, and to promptly get the battery checked. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Very helpful getting us out of the mud. Very prompt and courteous. He made sure we could get the truck moving before he left.

I needed a winch out last night after being stuck in a driveway so my roadside assistance contacted Doug's. I ended up having a neighbor help today, but Doug's was excellent about responding and even checked in first thing the next morning after I had to leave my vehicle overnight to deal with a family matter. Before my neighbor came to help they had me on their list and were ready to pull me out. While I didn't use them for this issue I would absolutely call them in the future as their customer service was excellent.

They accepted my roadside assistance claim through my insurance. I was in a position that timing wasn't important, so waiting wasn't a big deal to me. The tech that came out was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Initially I thought it was the starter on our vehicle, but he was able to jump it was a battery back. He was nice enough to notify the garage that we wouldn't be towing our vehicle there and that a tow wasn't needed. Overall, I would definitely use Doug's again!

Would not recommend to anyone. They rather customers sit on the side of 81 and freeze in the 20 degree weather and finish their shift early and go home rather then help customers freezing. They let customers tows time out and go to other companies bc they wanna milk the clock instead of working the only one that actually cares about the customers is the lady driver. Again I would run before I let them tow my vehicle

Used this service for 2 hour tow home on a Saturday night. Showed up on time. Driver was nice a friendly. Definitely would recommend. Very happy

I explained that I had a morning appointment to get my car repaired and the driver said that he was going to accept another appointment first down the road and would deliver my car an hour later than my appointment schedule. He had no sympathy for my situation whatsoever. He dropped the vehicle off late and I missed my appointment that day so I had to wait several more days before I was able to get my vehicle fixed and returned The review response stated that the driver had to finish another drop previously loaded on his truck, but . . . There was NO other vehicle previously loaded on the flatbed. Only mine and he informed me that he received the tow request for his extra hitch after loading my car. I told him of my appointment prior to him leaving.

Needed a tow due to the breaks on my car not working. It took them less than 20 minutes to get to me. The driver was super nice, and allowed me to ride with him to drop my car off. I would recommend their services!

Absolutely Terrible Service – Don’t Waste Your Time! I’m beyond frustrated with Doug’s Transport. I requested towing at 7:00 PM, and by 1:45 AM the driver still hadn’t shown up. My insurance company eventually had to cancel the service because no one ever came! I called over and over again, and every time they said they’d “try to contact the driver,” then just left me on hold and never came back. The driver wouldn’t even answer the phone. That’s almost seven hours of waiting in the middle of the night for nothing! Completely unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful of people’s time. If you ever need help, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.

My truck broke down on the I 81. I was on the shoulder and not in a safe position. My wait time was an hour and a half. I called Doug's and she said that she would be there in 30 minutes due to my situation. She was fantastic! Very professional and had my truck loaded up quickly and safely in no time! She was very cordial and friendly and kind. I recommend Doug's Transport to anyone who needs a tow out there!! Thank you!!

My husband and I were traveling from Winchester, VA to see our son run in a college Cross Country race at LeHigh University. We hit a dead deer on the highway which cause our fuel line to become dislodged. We were stranded on the side of I-81 and worried about missing our son’s race. Through AAA, Doug’s was contacted to tow our vehicle. James contacted us immediately and was there to tow us in a timely manner. He was professional and helpful, dropping us off at a car rental business before towing our vehicle to the repair shop so that we could get back on the road to see our son. Without his assistance and going out of his way, we would have missed seeing our son compete. We are very appreciative and grateful.

The driver from Doug's transport was knowledgeable and kind. She made me feel a lot better after not knowing what to do when my battery died & I had no one to call to help. I thought I needed a tow as a nice gentleman had already tried to jump start my battery with no success. She asked to try just in case and bam! It started right up! She advised me to go straight to a mechanic just in case it was not the battery.

Doug's Transport picked up my broken down vehicle and took it to my requested shop without any issues. He was kind and communicative in trying to find its location. It took 3 hours. (Rush hour on Monday - side of highway)

Driver/dispatcher communication was good, however arrival time took longer than anticipated. Small access panel door for emergency tow hook for rear bumper lost by driver leaving unsightly 'hole' in bumper cover. Will have to find replacement. Vehicle delivered to my mechanic professionally with no issues or damage. Would use again.

The driver was dispatched quickly and called to keep me informed of how far away he was. Upon arrival he was nice, professional, and informative. Thanks again. Even though it was pouring down raining he didn't hesitate and got the job done quickly.

Ernie the driver looked professional from his uniform rigjt down to his personality. He arrived even quicker than his estimated time. He took great care with my vehicle and his equipment. Truck was clean and showed that is was well maintained. Great personal nice equipment I highly recommend Doug’s Transport for all your towing needs.

My car unexpectedly broke down this morning, however very grateful for this company. They were incredibly fast, friendly, and just went above and beyond to help me. Also impressed he was able to unload it at my garage the way he did considering the narrowness of the alley, will use again! Thank you so much for making a dreary day better.

I recently used a there towing service, and I was extremely impressed! They were unbelievably fast, arriving within minutes of my call. The staff was not only reliable but also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. They made what could have been a stressful situation much easier to handle. Highly recommend this service for anyone in need!

Extremely fast & friendly service. They kept in contact with me the throughout the whole process. My vehicle broke down right before the holidays & they helped me out. Also very impressive how the driver was able to get my vehicle to the shop with as big as his rig was considering it's on a very narrow side street and you're unable to take wide turns.
