Local gem....bulk items for baking,locally made items, great variety of grocery items...great service and friendly atmosphere.....the locally made zucchini relish is amazing! Views of the countryside are amazing....I stop there every chance I get!
A real Amish grocery store. With rows upon rows of hand made authentic grains and dry goods. A huge selection of cheeses. And a great variety of jams. At prices that will make your head turn! The people who work at the store are incredibly helpful and kind.
One of the most toxic stores in Lancaster. Everything has toxic seed oils, even their cashews had canola oil which stores in your system bc your body doesn’t know how to process it. Their flour was fortified with all synthetic vitamins which are also very bad for you. The fruit had codes which started w 3 or 4, which means GMO or genetically modified. Super disappointed and wish the dear Amish would wake up that we are being poisoned w apeel, seed oils, fortified synthetics, GMO, red dyes, gums, polysorbate 80, etc…
This is a fantastic place to get bulk spices and baking ingredients. The homemade Amish goods are a delight as well. I always stop in here when visiting from Virginia Beach- bring a cooler with you and bring home some of the best meats, cheeses, jams, pickled goods, and chicken pot pies. The peach Tapioca is a treat as well!
Don't leave without grabbing a bag of the dark chocolate peanut butter cups (seconds) in the candy aisle and a container of Lapps espresso coffee drink from the cooler. A great place to wander through. Be sure to visit when you need to stock up on baking necessities!

I just visited Centerville Bulk Food again today and I still love going here to buy groceries. Just stopped in today and bought cut up in and cheese in a container that I can eat while on the road.All I have to do is pick it up a piece at a time and eat it. Meat and cheese is all cut up into small cubes.
I stop in every chance I get

Prices are very good and a good selection . Keep in mid this is a very small Amish store. And that makes it wonderful, and the gas lighting adds charm.
We love this place. I been coming for years.
I do see a change of Tourism coming.
Lots of new people. When you do come, please be respectful to the store and the culture.
Leave the horses Alone.
Ask for permission, to say hello to a horse . I have never gotten a no, so far . I'm also one person and calm.
You wouldn't like if a big family approaches your Ferrari .

Go there and Shop , mostly organic food for good price and enjoy the country.

This is a great store. Everything you need in an extremely peaceful setting. Right in the heart of Amish Country. If you are ever at Kitchen Kettle Village...it's not far from there! A+++
A very nice bulk food store. I even found items there that my local bulk food store doesn’t carry. Prices are very good. The cheese is very good and is one of my favorites to get there. Locals spot for bulk food.
It's a locals place. Prices very good and often much cheaper than many other places. They have numerous kinds of bulk foods, cheeses at really good prices, and more.
Update - Continues to be a cool place and we have been going here for 28+ years. It really has not changed. Cash or check and they may take credit cards now. Its setup for the Amish vs. English but they are always friendly. They have many bulk items and carry an amazing selection of herbs & spices.
Our first visit was in October 2021 and we loved it!!! We loved the variety, friendliness and the amount of bulk foods available. We definitely will be visiting again!!!
NOTE: They do charge a Surcharge if you use a credit card. (It’s a small handwritten note on the counter by the register. It’s not noticeable if you are in a wheelchair. It’s also not brought to your attention by the employees.)

If you want the Amish experience it's a great place to go. Kind of caters to the English now but still a nice place to go I've been going there for years.
You want to know where the locals shop? This is it. centerville bulk foods in the middle of farm lands in Gordonville PA. You may go right past it if your not paying attention. All products are from local farms. If you love cheese this is the place to go. Fantastic selection at great prices
What an absolutely wonderful little food market! I come from Colorado and the main item I was looking for was Clear Jel and I was not disappointed! I picked up quite a few other items...what an absolute delight!!! I was told about this place by a vendor at Root's Market. So glad I didn't miss this little gem!!!
Their ham off the bone is the best I’ve ever had! After eating theirs no one else’s tastes good! Their cheese is great also! I also love the fact that you can find the big bags of frozen Hanover veggies there. If You ever go to Lancaster you have to try Centerville it’s worth the trip!!!
Awesome selection of great bulk foods and cooking supplies. Also have a decent line of meats and cheeses. Will slice your meats and cheeses on sight for you. Awesome prices...... If you have never been too an Amish bulk food store you gotta try it. Also have fresh baked goods.
I was never treated so rude in all of my life by an older Amish man. No help at the registers and I just set my items down on the counter. I was then told by the man that the register is closed can't you read. I then put the items back and left the store. You lost about 100 dollars in business. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!
The prices are excellent for this store that serves the Amish in he area. Spices are very reasonably priced. Every time we are in the area, we stop and buy various things
