We are now on week 3 of my nightmare. My brand new 70k truck was leaking between the cap and body, had the ugliest tack welds on the outside of the body, never sanded down so when they powder coated the body it left pin holes that started to rust. The top right of the body must have been mostly missed by the powder coating process. I get a call last week saying to pick my truck up, I get there, the roof of the truck still has rust on it, the paint was still wet and to top it off they bent my bumper and tried saying it was like that when I dropped it off. Funny enough you can see where the bolts and washers had been moved when they took it off. As a small business with only 2 trucks this is starting to really hurt my business. When I asked about a rental truck I was told no, no to any kind of compensation at all. ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU SENT OUT A SUB PAR BODY!!!!! Please be warned about this company.
Picked up a truck that was being shipped. Little tight around there with semi. Check in at the office behind loading dock. Was in and out fast. They give you keys, you find your own truck and load it.. Office workers were friendly and helpful.
Was not impressed at all.
Sat there for 9 hours to get a topper on my truck.
When I called for the appointment they told me 3-4 hours.......what a joke.
The staff, in the area where they had me wait, said NOTHING to me for the 9 HOURS I sat there.
In my opinion.........I would NEVER advise ANYONE to get work done there.
This was a delivery site. It had 3 shipping & receiving offices. Had to go to all 3 to know where to unload. It was a bit confusing but when sorted out got unloaded and on my way in no time.
These guys are awesome.
They have parts for just about everything and are super helpful.
The new guy managing this place sure has a good bunch of people.
Reading truck equipment employees go above and beyond to accommodate customers. I was there to get warranty work done on a work truck for the company i work for, and even thought the warranty company rents out their bays to do work and are separate from reading truck company, the employees are phenomenal with with making sure you are comfortable while you wait, and keep you informed.
