Easy in and easy out. First time there. Had a pick up truck full of cardboard. Would be nice if people were considerate of others and broke their boxes down before throwing them in to the 4 small available containers. That's not on the center though. Otherwise it was a good experience. Entrance to household recycling is on the right side of the building and drove around back to end to enter.
Says it's a recycling company but the drivers refuse to ever grab my recyclables cause I accidently put one singular bottle that I didn't realize wasn't supposed to be recycled 1 time months ago I removed the bottle and placed the bin back out just for them to tag it again there's nothing but beer cans and soup cans it tell me why they can't take my recyclables I've been putting up with this crap for years this company needs to highly consider new drivers cause man these guys hate doing their job plus what's the point when I never see the trucks full of recyclables anymore it just rolls around mostly empty what a waste of money fuel and resouses
Awesome free mulch and dirt! I’m all for recycling. I’m unsure about using this dirt in my garden. There is a lot of garbage remnants in it. Anyone have any information on that?
The only downside I noticed is they only recycle plastics 1 and 2, but other than that this is a pretty easy to navigate recycling center that’ll take all your recyclables off your hands!
There is not a reasonable way to pull in coming from Indiana or leave going anyway but Indiana, that’s not their fault but it is, in fact, annoying. Also it would be cool if you could recycle plastics other than 1 and 2.
Free mulch/compost, load your own. Its really nice to have this option. If you can stop through the day, for a small fee, they will load it for you. Love that our recycling Center does this every year
Easy drop off of recycling materials, convenient place to dispose (for a fee) of hazardous materials, and free (if you load it yourself) compost and mulch.
I take my recycling here. It's a good place for that. They have no menus, no drive thru, and they don't offer karaoke. It's just a normal recycling facility. Oh, but the air is free. That's fantastic!
Totally awesome place to visit, even when they are closed. They offer seperate bins for brown, green and clear glass and bins for newspapers and magazines. They have mulch and dirt you can load yourself FOR FREE!! If they are open, they will load it for you super cheap (like super cheap, super cheap, it's super cheapie). You'll to get to see some DILF's and even an occasional GFILF driving loaders and operating crushers. Sometime, if you get lucky they smile or give a small wave in your direction, it warms the heart.
Oh yeah!! When they are open, you get to drive through the building. I mean there are not many places anymore that let you drive though the building and DONT EVEN CHARGE YOU. If your a tourist or resident of Indiana County, put this place on your must see list. You will not regret it.
I have always been well treated both in the phone and in person here. I've dropped off materials and purchased both mulch and compost many times. Good place!
