I have been taking my vehicle to Secane Auto & Truck Works for the past few years now and the service has always been fantastic. In fact most of my immediate family brings using Secane Auto as well. Steve (the owner) and the rest of the staff there have always been friendly and helpful with anything I need. Finding a good and reliable mechanic can be very difficult, so if you're looking for great service and a friendly staff look no further than Secane Auto.

Steve got my car in quick, performed the work I needed and also told me what to look out for in the future.

My camper van was in for routine maintenance when Steve discovered that there was a bigger issue and was able to fix everything in a timely manner. I’m glad he found this issue while he had my vehicle because otherwise I would’ve broken down on the highway in the near future and had to experience a very expensive towing cost because I travel extensively.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Secane Auto and Truck Works, specifically with Michael, was so above and beyond that I felt like I had to share. I brought in my 1996 Ford Ranger, which, as you can imagine, is an older truck that means a lot to me. It’s been with me for years, and I’ve put a ton of care into keeping it running. A few weeks ago, it started acting up. The engine was making strange noises, the check engine light came on, and it just didn’t feel right. I took it to three different shops before I found Michael. Every one of them gave me horror story level estimates. Two shops told me I needed a complete engine replacement, and one even suggested I scrap the truck entirely. The average quote was $10,000. Ten thousand dollars. For an issue that no one could properly explain. All they saw was an old truck, and all they wanted was my money. Then I found Secane Auto and Truck Works, and that’s when everything changed. From the first moment I talked to Michael, I could tell this guy actually cared. He wasn’t rushing through the conversation or throwing around buzzwords to sound smart. He asked me specific questions about the truck’s recent behavior, its history, what I had already been told, and what I had experienced personally while driving it. He then said, “Bring it in. I want to see it myself. No assumptions.” I brought the truck in the next morning. Michael actually spent time looking it over. I mean really looking. Not just plugging it into a scanner and calling it a day. He popped the hood, got under the car, ran it for a while, and even called me out into the shop to show me what he was seeing. That never happens at other places. Turns out, the truck didn’t need a new engine. It wasn’t close to needing one. It was a much more manageable issue with some worn out gaskets, a sensor, and a few other things I would’ve never even known about. Michael explained every step of the repair process, told me what absolutely needed to be done and what could wait, and then gave me the most honest and fair estimate I’ve ever gotten from a mechanic. $1,500. That’s it. He finished the work faster than I expected, kept me updated the entire time, and the truck has been running smoother than it has in years. Honestly, it feels like a completely new vehicle. Michael didn’t just fix my Ranger. He restored my faith in what a real mechanic should be. Honest, knowledgeable, respectful, and not trying to squeeze every dollar out of you. He looked out for me when every other place just saw an opportunity to profit. If you have an older vehicle or any car at all and you want to take it somewhere that actually gives a damn, go to Secane Auto and Truck Works. Ask for Michael. He’s the real deal.

Mike did an outstanding job fixing my Volvo and even helped me save money. From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and honest. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had my car running perfectly in no time. His pricing was fair, and the quality of his work was excellent. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy mechanic!

It’s rare to find someone as honest and knowledgeable as Michael. He made the entire experience stress-free, and I left knowing my car was in great hands. I have been using Secane Auto since they have been in business. I can't totally recollect how many years that is, but probably at least ten. I totally trust that when they tell me something needs to be done to my vehicle, it's the truth. If I have an emergency I can call them and they come to help me within five minutes, depending upon where I am located. Luckily most of my emergencies occur close to their location. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an outstanding mechanic. They are genuinely nice guys!

Secane Auto and Truck Works are excellent in the work that they do on vehicles, both old and new. They are soo good that we don't use the dealer for regular maintenance on our vehicle even when they are brand new. We keep our vehicles for a long time and it's because of the work/maintenance that they do because of it. And when you need them in an emergency, they take care of you right away. Great work and dependability!

I brought my car in needing front breaks. They found out i needed all new break pads, rotors and 2 rear tires. Steve had my car back on the rode the next day. Very pleased with the prices!

This place does really good work. I highly recommend their service. I brought my car here at the end of last year. It runs way better now! They even fixed my left blinker socket I don't believe they even charged me for it. They also helped me with which tires to replace for the inspection.

I'd give 50 stars if I could. I found Secane Auto by chance due to an issue that arose in my life. Mike and Steve are absolutely fantastic to work with. Mike has always made time, even in a pinch to look at my car day of when I call. They are thorough and don't gouge you either. I have a landscaping business with 13 vehicles and trailers, and they frequently need work. I have tried many mechanic shops and have been disappointed - most mechanics can’t correctly identify problems or are too lazy to fix things that are not straight forward (anything that may require some custom welding or searching for a part). I have been very happy since finding Steve and Secane auto. They are honest, skilled and hardworking. They correctly identify problems and then take the time to fix them.
