I slashed 2 of my right tires making a sharp turn over a curb because I felt rushed by the traffic director guy at a construction area where I normally go straight. Reese gave me an amazing deal on good condition used tires for my 2025 Subaru Forester. It ended up only being half the original quote with new tires! Tires aren't cheap of course but I was extremely pleased with it having been half of what you would typically pay for getting 2 tires replaced. I had only just 2 weeks before had a flat that fortunately could be fixed instead of replaced and it was just my luck to get the sides of two tires slashed. You usually tell yourself what's the worst that could happen to redirect anxieties but wow did the worst actually happen! It took my mind to some dark places about how much worse things could get in general with this kind of luck. I'm not at a place where I can just pay for tire replacements all willy nilly. So this deal really turned things around for me today so dramatically that I had to share. You get great, fair service at Haverford Auto Center!

I highly recommend Haverford Auto/Reese. I bought a used car and brought it here based on proximity and five star Google reviews and they proved to be 100% accurate. I told Reese to "do whatever he had to" to ensure the car was perfect, essentially giving him a blank check. He called me and told me all it needed was an oil change. Super honest, great communications and top shelf work. I highly recommend.

I just brought my car in for a state inspection today and Haverford Auto was great! It was easy to make an appointment and everything went smoothly from drop off to pick up!
This was my go-to autoshop when I lived in the area. Finding a great mechanic can be hard and Reese and his shop were a lucky find! The shop handled all the needs for my little Honda civic from inspection, to oil changes, to flats. Reese knows his stuff, is kind and informative, and always managed to get my car in and out quickly.
Just moved to this part of town a little bit ago and I’m so glad and relieved that me and my partner found a great reliable mechanic. Reece is a great guy and does great work.
Reese is fantastic! Our son (student in the area) was having some serious car issues that needed to be addressed in a short turnaround time, and Reese took our car the next day and quickly diagnosed the problem. He really took the time to listen to help figure out what was going on and then had the car ready the next day. He communicated along the way so we knew what to expect, and on top of all that, he is also a super nice, genuine and honest guy. So glad I called and would highly recommend Reese and Haverford Auto - thanks again, Reese!

Love this place. Going here off and on for years. Reese is an honest mechanic who never tries to swindle you. I had been taking my car to Honda but every time I take my car in they find something wrong or a way to jack up the price. I have decided to take my car here from now on. Reese gives an honest assessment of your car and doesn't overcharge or try to sneak those hidden costs in. I should have stuck with this place all along and would highly recommend.
Sent my college kid to this shop with a check engine light. Car is in great shape, but over 150,000 miles. Rease was excellent. Ran diagnostic and determined it was a minor problem. Very honest,timely, knowledgeable mechanic. Highly recommend
First time using Haverford Auto Center today. They were a friendly, comfortable place, didn't try to sell me any services I didn't currently need but did tell me what I need to get checked in the near future, and my car is very happy and no longer creaking like a dried-out husk. The place seems having new owner now and service quality is below standard . Recently, I took my car in for a simple tire nail fix. The person said he is busy and asked me to come back any time next morning. When I called next morning before 10 am, the same person said he was busy again and I should take the car in the first thing in the morning. I reminded him that he was the one who told me day before I could come in any time in the morning. He simply would not honor his words.
I had my tires fixed in this shop many times before. The prevous crews alway responded immediately and cordually. I gave it a well deserved five star. I am changing my rating
to reflect the new situation.

My car is from 1991. Most mechanics take one look at it and make up some excuse for why they can't work on it but not these guys. They are friendly, fast, and do great work.
