Wow! This place has an incredible selection. I have been there twice now. And both times I have gone I spent hours there going through their enormous selection.

Beautiful building, full of one of a kind finds. A bit pricey, but worth the trip.

Such a large collection of antiques, paintings, tchotchkes, furniture, etc. You could literally get lost in there and I did lol The people there are so lovely, I went in 10 minutes and was helped by Christine who followed me around the store while I tried to remember where the item I wanted was. She was so sweet and helpful and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks! Also the Columbian restaurant next door is equally fantastic.

10/16/2025 @ 11.45 Am. Unfortunate experience w/ one of the stalls renters working front desk old man w/ cane. The man was talking politics, using vulgarity and openly stating his wish for the death of public officials.

Fascinating! We spent 3 hours in there. Many different antique dealers under one roof. The place is an old dairy farm. The building is interesting in itself. They are a bit pricey but the pieces are the real deal. They have everything! We left with some treasures! We will be back! If you’re into antiques or just like to browse and get nostalgic, this place is for you.

I truly love the experience of shopping here. Each booth is well stocked silver and glass and porcelain. The staff is always kind and attentive and willing to assist ! Truly one of a kind place to explore "ye ole treasures!"

There is a large and interesting selection of antiques on multiple floors. Some rooms were over-stocked and difficult to walk through, so I avoided looking at antiques where there was clutter. The prices were higher than average and better deals can be found closer to Lancaster. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Cool stuff and great selection, overbearing with staff continuously coming up to us, and prices were quite high. Don't come here if you plan to stay on a budget. We weren't able to find anything that interested us that wasn't well above market price. Upper floor had many items with tags faded from the sun and covered in dust and grime, and were still charging a fortune.

Very happy with my "new" milk glass chandelier! Came already rewired by the dealer.

This is a jewel of antiques, furniture, ornaments, historical artifacts, medals, old history momentos, toys, jewelry, books, lamps, etc. You can expend good time walking 3 levels, and keep finding many things... plus very close a very good coffee shop...

Pretty good. Probably a lot more exciting if u r the antiquing type but a good 2 floors worth of stuff something for everyone

It is a wonderful place to wander around and find treasures. The staff was very friendly. The place is a lot bigger than it appears from the outside. We will have to go back to finish exploring.

I visited for the first time purely by accident but loved it & found 3 very cute finds! I will definitely be returning with my daughter, who also loves thrifting & antiqing with me.

This place was a big disappointment. While the selection and variety of antiques was great, the staff were quite awful. One woman was trying to be friendly but it was not enough to overcome the pure unpleasantness of the lady we asked to unlock a cabinet to examine an item. She was prickly, and off-putting in how particular she seemed about the request to look at an old powder horn for sale. The entire time we were in the store, my wife noticed we were being followed by an elderly gang, who were clearly employees trying to be inconspicuous. It was uncomfortable and insulting, frankly — we stopped at five or six antique stores throughout our day for some fun treasure hunting and thrifting. This was the only one where we felt like we were being watched and treated poorly, and with zero justification. Skip this stop, there are much better options within a half mile radius where the employees/owners aren’t sabotaging their own business.

Just there today and honestly believe this is one of the BEST antique places we have been to, and trust me we have been many places! Absolutely loved it, something for everyone!! ❤

Great variety of items, friendly helpful staff, and way more to look at than you could ever imagine from the exterior.

very big with good variety. a lot of glass cabinets that you would need someone else to open, lot of cluttered/tight booths which can be hard to maneuver, and lot of legit antiques that are pretty expensive. (I am sure they are fairly priced, I am just young and on a budget!!) no hate though, always love poking around here.

This place is super cool! If you’re looking for genuine treasure that is rich with history, this is the place. Fine antiquities and stunning pieces. Be sure to go through ALL THREE FLOORS too! I could spend a whole day in this place.

Enjoyed the trip to Brandywine River antiques. I visited while in town on business and was pleasantly surprised by the unusually large selection of first rate antiques there. Lots of very early and unique items there! However, I would say pricing was a bit on the high side, there were deals to be had though if you look hard enough. I will definitely be visiting again the next time I'm in the area.

This is a very neat store - something for everyone. I bought a lovely set of crystal candlesticks & a blue glass cake stand. Love my purchases! We were in the area visiting Longwood Gardens and made 2 stops at this store. Lots of fun & things to see. My friend bought the fox.

This place is incredible. I routinely make the drive from Philly because there’s just so much interesting stuff here at reasonable prices. Love the upper furniture barn in particular, but all levels are packed with a really amazing selection.

Have never been so uncomfortable walking into a store in all of my life. Upon entering everyone glared at me. I was not greeted. Others who came in were greeted enthusiastically and asked if they had been in the store before. Looked briefly. I would have bought things, but decided not to support their poor business practices.

I didn’t really have a good experience. Everything was super expensive (although the items I researched where less than the original new price so I have to give them credit). I found this absolutely busted up vase and it was like 15$, I would have payed 5$ at maximum for it. Also they where unfriendly towards me, and I swear they looked at me funny if I walked by. Didn’t even greet me or say goodbye when I left the store, I felt like I was judged by them lol. However, the store has a very wide selection with some interesting items

Three huge floors of treasures! Super friendly staff, lots to see, and a huge range of items from trinkets and jewelry to furniture. Such a fun place to browse!

Brandywine River Antiques is absolutely lovely. Items were reasonably priced, considering the age and condition of the antiques. The owners are welcoming and kind. I found some wonderful pieces I’ll always cherish. I can’t wait to go back!

We have been shopping here for several years when we come to the area to visit family. One of my wife’s favorite things to do is to have a nice lunch at the nearby Mushroom Cafe and then walk over to this store to browse their beautiful items. We invariably spend a few hundred dollars here. Today we spent $260 for 3 nice things, but is the last time I ever spend a dollar here. I now believe that the other posters who described this owner as a racist are correct. As my wife was waiting for me to bring our car up the older man behind the counter was expounding on the need for the country to now embrace a “Military Dictatorship “. My sons (both former Air Force Officers) did not take an oath to defend the Constitution and risk their lives in Afghanistan to give this country over to a dictatorship and we did not spend months agonizing over our son’s safety during their service to keep quiet when ugly extremism appears and ruins an otherwise perfect day. If you want to hold extremist political views that is your right but if you are a smart business person you should keep quiet about it unless you want to lose 50% of your customers.

This is a huge place! Tons of items in the co-op/Barn. Multiple floors and an attic space with even more antique furniture. I really enjoyed walking around to see everything. They also didn't mind having older kids in there. The building itself is interesting as well. I found the prices reasonable too. The location is beautiful in historic, horse & farm country. Just up the road from the Brandywine battlefield.

WAAAYYYY to overpriced. The best part of this place was finding a newspaper clipping, from a local paper, from the 90s, for $30! There was nothing priced accurately and the longer I stayed the funnier it got. There is no way I'd ever go back to this place unless they got new management or had a 90% off sale which would only leave the items slightly overpriced. Right down the street is a MUCH better place with MUCH better prices and even better items.

So many antiques. 3 packed floors of amazing items. The 3rd floor still has the beautiful barn walls. Great Place!
