100% positive experience here. I am not a scraper. I was with my Uncle getting rid of cast iron from a piano and a car battery. Tasha helped us through the process. She was extremely kind and hard worker running around helping people. The young man that took the battery was also very nice. If I have large pieces of metal I will 100% be coming back thanks to the excellent service. Thanks Again.
CSR is the only place I take scrap which tends to be about every two months. It’s the most professional scrap yard I’ve visited. If you’re honest about the scrap your dropping off, and you follow the rules you won’t have any problems.
Today, was my first time taking any metal to a scrap yard and I had an amazing experience. The dock worker was super nice and taught me everything I need to know about scrapping copper and than the gentleman who did the pricing was super nice and gave me advice. I appreciate both those gents and their customer service.
The employees at csr are the people that makes the world go around; Paul and Dwight do the hard work and because of that they make life easier for the customers.

Won’t ever return to this scrap yard. I have been going here for a while and everytime is a headache with the same dolt that sorts scrap. He acts like he owns the place and tries to make decisions as such. Even lied to me on what they would pay for scrap I wanted to keep for another yard. Offered me hirer then never paid it. I recommend tri state up the road
Doing business with this company is easy and straight-forward. Expect to offload your own scrap. It will help you if you have pre-sorted the special scrap before you go.
Super easy, in & out. Was directed to exactly where I needed to be for each type of material. Employees were very helpful. Scrap yard is much cleaner than I've seen it in a while! Great job you guys!
Terrible experience with a employee there named Paul. He was rude and aggressive. I would stay away from this guy he is violent and I have seen him get into altercations with multiple customers.
I have been going to this yard for several years And everybody that I've encountered has been nice in professional. The prices are typically higher than their competitors in the Harrisburg region.
I frequently call to get updates on a variety of scrap material and they always have the time to answer my questions.
Just had my first experience here, had to get rid of some copper. I have severe anxiety of new people and places, but everyone here was so nice and sweet to me. They helped me with no issues and I was on my way in about 15 minutes. I like this place!
They are always helpful and open to answering all my questions. I have learned alot about scraping, just by asking questions at CSR. Thanks for all the education along the way.
I would not recommend bringing children here. The yard supervisor David Gomez smokes ciggarates in flammable areas. There's also a product that he's not allowed to run until after 5 because it's not good for the environment but he does it anyway
WORST RECYCLE PLACE EVER!! This place is awful!! Do not do business here!! The employees are rude, they tell you ur metal is junk and they can't pay you anything for it. I left after they offered me ¢1 per lb. I went down the street and got ¢4 per lb.
