I’m a big fan of Gartmeyer. They’re thoughtful, cautious, and give great attention to to your special vehicles! Can’t recommend them high enough. My brother-in-law brought his box there in there and he drove a fair amount of distance and said it was absolutely worth it and he would do it again again.

I had a concerning issue with my 2017 Porsche Macan and decided to call Garttmeyer. It was a pleasure dealing with Bob and Chris. They listened to my concerns and fixed the problem at a fraction of the price as their competitors. Excellent customer service at a great price. I’ve found my new automotive repair shop. Thank you!!

I have a complicated modified Jeep from the early 90’s and Chris does a great job making sure it’s in top condition! Only an experienced mechanic could navigate this car and he does a great job. Wouldn’t take it anywhere else!

I’ve been brining my 2014 Mercedes C300 here for a couple years now. I find them to be very trustworthy, provide clear communication about options for repairs and the staff is friendly. I’d highly recommend them! Example - Last year they identified that my rear subframe was rusting out (which was becoming a common problem for the platform). Rather than telling me it needed to be done and charging me thousands of dollars, they told me how to bring it to the dealership for a factory warranty repair, which saved me thousands.

From the time you walk in, Bob is a warm friendly welcome who always finds time for my last minute maintenance!! Chris and his team are experts, always ensuring our cars are in tip top shape. Could I find someone cheaper… likely, but the cost is competitive and I’d never look!!

These guys are outstanding. Have helped me keep my high mileage GL550 on the road. It almost drives like it's new...it's crazy. Chris and Bob never try to sell me on services I don't need and their repairs are always a fraction of what the dealer charges...for the same (or better) quality! Recently my daughter had a breakdown and she lives 12 hours from me. Just by luck we found Garttmeyer Automotive. I could not have been more pleased. They suggested a tow company who did a terrific job. Bob informed us every step of the way. Pricing was transparent with no surprise charges. I drove 1.5 hours from NJ to Garttmeyer for an alignment on my f150 all because they have the best alignment tech James, he doesn’t only get the alignment in the green but fine tunes it for high speed stability, road crown and tracking. The local places around me just want to set your toe and call it good but not James he’s a perfectionist that will explain everything he did when he’s all said and done. They listen carefully about any issues I need addressed and work with me to make sure I understand what they are doing, why it is needed. Recently had my GLS450 at Garttmeyer for a rough ride and air suspension issues. Bob and the team worked quickly to diagnose it and execute repairs. Highly recommend for service! A great alternative than a dealership! They have all of the tooling and software necessary to perform OEM repairs.

Had a pretty unusual problem that took some trial and error and a lot of diagnosis time. They ultimately fixed the issue and gave me a good discount on the diagnosis labor. Bob is very communicative and easy to work with. They’re not cheap, but nothing of quality is these days.

My brother was visiting for Father's Day from VA and his 2008 Audi S4 developed a major oil leak while he was here. We dropped the car off on Sunday and they called first thing Monday morning with a diagnosis and the car was repaired that same day for less than $500!! He was on the road back to VA on Tuesday! Great service! We both thank you!

I was impressed speaking to both Chris and Bob. They were helpful and polite. My car was done in less time than I'd expected. Was getting my oil changed and they called me to tell me my inspection was due. They assured me that the car would be done that day (which it was). They also told me they could remove the paint from where I'd been hit a while ago. Was a small gesture, but the car looked way better than before. The cost was also less than I'd expected. Definitely a win and I will be sure to use them again.

Saw Chris about a transmission leak on my 87 560sl. After diagnosis, Chris was able to get the Benz back to a road worthy state! Car is now an absolute blast to drive and I’m glad I had the professionals at Garttmeyer work on my car. This is the only place I will bring it going forward!

Extremely professional staff. Very familiar with European makes. They took great care of my Audi, as we were not confident in work done by another local shop, and we are bringing both our Mercedes and Toyota for work there next. I find that there rates are reasonable. My cars are serviced correctly and on time. The review of what has been done and a heads up if anything maybe needed during the next 6 to 12 months. I have been using them for 17 years when I first moved to Wayne. Steve

Best team in town. I use them for everything, from oil changes to major repairs. I know I'm going to get an honest, accurate assessment every time. I've used them for 20 years and won't go anywhere else. It's nice to know I can drop off and my car is in the best hands and I'm not going to get an inflated estimate filled with things that don't need to be done.
