A little cozy waterpark that you can have fun in and for all ages Even though the rides are limited (3) you will have a blast on them and there is no wait with a great wave pool and surf for all ages

Absolutely terrible experience. Half of the attractions were closed, and the kiddie splash area was freezing cold — almost ice-cold. We arrived right at opening, yet trash bins were already overflowing from the previous day and there was food and garbage all over the ground. We came with a small child and there was almost nothing for them to do. The only positive was that the park was nearly empty — which now makes sense. If you’re looking for a water park in the Pocono area, avoid this one. Easily the worst we’ve visited.

Small water park. Took our grand daughter for the day . The only area open, the water was not heated. There was another area that kids could climb and do water themed activities. Much much bigger then the small area with the cold water. This area was closed and life guard said it has been closed for sometime. They did not have anything posted about the main kids attraction being closed and still charges full price. Also the hot tubs were closed. Very dissatisfied.

I do NOT recommend this place. The food for the "buffet" was DISGUSTING. Hard buns, burnt hot dogs, rubber hamburger pattys, Chunky beans, undercooked corn, thick ketchup, and wet mustered that litterly made the buns wet. One of the life guards litterly let kids push people I had to wait for a new one to be able to let my sister swim. The wave pool has NO waves it barly takes people off the ground. Not to mention that there was dead bugs EVERYWHERE and in the pool and the rust and peeling paint didn't help. There's a total of FIVE things to do. Either you do the floating Lilly pad thing where you have to make it across (people over 120 pounds can't even do it), basketball but a hoop is broken (theres only 3 to begin with making it 2), a little kids area, slides but there's only 4 and one you need at least 2 people for, or swim in the wave pool. Would NOT recommend. Go to Kalahari the money is well worth it.

Marlon the front desk guy is very unprofessional, i called with a matter regarding the water h20 park, and was rude and not want to help with my situation. When they transferred me no one pick up from the water park, not surprised. When i called the front desk to try to get transferred again, Marlon did not pick up. I called for 30 min more the 10 times.

This place is really unsanitized and I’m really bad conditios they need to fix this place up or shut it down and remodel it . It looks even worse from the outside. Bathrooms super dirty , slides are filthy, pools are filthy, the entire area is a disaster. The swimming area is super cold to be in when it usually be warm . It was a waste of my money and my free time with my family to come to this place . DO BETTER AND FIZ THIS UP H2oooo

We came today for a few hours. Not worth the money. Attractions were closed. It was so dark inside lady said they were having light issues. We won't be returning.

Absolutely horrible. I think CEO & higher ups need to get some funding to fix this place. This used to be such a great place to go to, I brought my 3 year old and as we walked into the water park he was so excited just to find out everything HE can go on, is CLOSED. He didn’t understand but I was so sad for my child to be sitting there crying because he could not go on anything… This should’ve stated that only the wave pool is open, and the surfing attraction. Water is freezing cold, and so is the waterpark. The whole entire building is freezing I had to walk around with a coat on.. the hotel pool and hot tub were great, but it was so disgustingly dirty everywhere. Changing room doesn’t even have power… Cockroaches in the changing rooms, and none of the stalls in the women’s bathroom are even working but 5/20. This place has such great potential, as the employees and manager were great in my opinion. The people working there are 110% great, and I can’t say a bad thing about them, but the place they are being forced to work at is almost horrid.. there isn’t even any lights in the waterpark walk in entrance way… Empty water park!!! Empty everything because it’s so cold.. The arcade games were shut down, basketball courts were -10 inside, as the arcade and movie theater was -10 also!!! Get h2ooo great again! It’s such a great place about 5-7 years ago!!! Again, can’t say anything bad about any worker especially the manager which was even better!!!!

When arrived check in was slow the front desk person was assisting someone else she was all smiles and friendly when it was my turn the tone of the front desk person changed. I was only given 1 room card and I had 2 rooms so I had to go back to the desk. My rooms was on the 4th floor directions were not clear to the 2nd set of elevators it took 10 minutes to find them. I arrived on Tuesday on Wednesday, Thursday morning I had to find house keeping to asked fro new towels and wash clothes each day I was told they were out of wash clothes. The indoor water park was only scheduled to open on the weekend but when I called while booking I was told it was open during the week. They had a bowling alley, arcade movie theater which was nice each event had to be paid for separately. The food was terrible . The elevator broke so steps had to be used, the toilet in the room was low so for someone with arthritis it was bad. The front desk was not knowledgeable about surrounding activities when asked. It was a horrible experience I checked out a day early and took that lost but it was worth it to go home.

Water park is broken. Knocking down dump bucket area. Still charging. Electrical issues so all slides are closed. Hotel rooms are a dump.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff unhelpful just standing around. Everything is rusted or broken. Alot of the attractions were broken. My biggest complaint ROACHES!!!! ROACHES EVERYWHERE
Nov 08, 2025 -
Im very disappointed with the cleanliness. There were cockroaches ? all over the place, including in the bathrooms and around the park areas. It made the visit very uncomfortable and unhygienic. I really hope the management takes action to clean and maintain the facilities better, because it has potential to be a great place if it were kept clean.

Visited on a Sunday—pleasantly uncrowded. The park is slightly dated but very enjoyable; kids loved it and adults had fun on the FlowRider. Hotel stay and breakfast were excellent. Overall, great value and plenty of family entertainment.

I really don’t like leaving a bad review… but sadly, this place just isn’t what it used to be and that honestly breaks my heart. I used to bring my kids here every year, either to celebrate their birthdays or just to enjoy some indoor water park fun during the winter. But this last visit was disappointing, even though we tried to make the best of it. First off, guests should be informed that half of the water park is currently closed. That alone was such a letdown my kids (and honestly, I) were really bummed. (I uploaded a picture of my daughter standing in front of the closedown attraction) The water temperature also felt a bit too hot; maybe adjusting it based on the weather outside could help. The bathrooms were dimly lit, almost spooky, and many stalls were out of service. We didn’t purchase food or drinks, but I did notice the prices were reasonable, which is a plus. My kids mostly stuck to the one open slide and the wave pool. The surfing attraction kept opening and closing, so they didn’t get much of a chance to enjoy it either. Even the decorative palm trees around the park are falling apart. I’m so sorry to say it, but this place really needs a full renovation. ? I truly hope they bring it back to its old glory we’ve made so many wonderful memories here over the years, and I’d love to see it shine again.

I went there Yesterday 8/23/2025 We had the best time. Place was very Clean, food prices were just not overpriced at all, staff was very helpful and courteous, 2 out of the 3 slides were fully functional, my kids had a blast in the surffing area, wave pool was a hit. Overall we had the best time! We will definitely go back!!! ?? Thanks to all the staff you guys were awesome!!!

Not worth going even if you have free tickets. The place is so dingy, lifeguards are clueless and whistle happy. Half of the place was closed for “maintenance ” Why not let people know beforehand so they’re not wasting a trip there. It was my first time and last time going. Dirty, dingy, rude, young, clueless workers. 0/10. Don’t waste your time or money.

Very DISAPPOINTED 7/26/25! With the price you pay to enter, they reeeeaaaalllly need to have the establishment visitor friendly... the entire Jungle Falls kids adventure area is taped off with caution tape and CLOSED.. as well as a water slide and 2 seating areas. The komodo dragon area was closed for several hrs initially as well. Should be offered a discounted rate or refund for prepaid tickets. Families don't drive hours to swim around in a pool, that they could do 10 minutes from their house. Will not return nor recommend wasting your time money ?

I have been coming here for years. This place has been slowly deteriorating little by little. I did once enjoy this place. Unfortunately it is no longer the same. We called a day before to make sure the indoor waterpark was open and we were told yes. Upon an arrival they told us they were closed. A lot of upset family parents and children in the parking lot. For families who are struggling trying to figure out what to do camel beach is $30 and is 20minutes away.
Jul 19, 2025 -
We called to make sure they was open prior to paying since the lot was empty. When we get in and after we paid they tell us none of the slides are working. All that was open was the wave pool and kiddie pool. So my fam of 5 paid $35 for my wife and I and $25 for the kids for a pool. So disappointed what a waste of a trip/money

Not worth the money. We paid Full price for 5 adults and 1 kid. Also our family came to. This was my son's birthday and it was such a let down. How embarrassing was this everyone in our family was upset and complaining about the price because of the amount of attractions that were unusable. 3 out of the 4 slides are not working and the steps are broken up and rusted out without any padding and both hot tubs were down even after being told they were functional and the tropical falls for the kids is also down So the birthday boy and all his family couldn't use it. We basically paid for a wave pool that only turned on ones every 30 minutes for 15 minutes. Ow and the food court only serves pizza and nachos chips. This was so embarrassing. Not to mention all the staff look like they hated their jobs not even helping you on the one and only working slide. They looked mad.

Front desk girl was wonderful. The snack bar guy was rude. We went to another area to eat and the woman working was very polite . The food is expensive. The water park area was extremely dirty. Food everywhere on the floor and a dead bug. My daughter was charging her phone in another area of the complex and saw a roach. Not a lot of things for the kids to do. I definitely thought it would be bigger. Would not go back . The place isn’t well maintained and that can lead to sickness.
May 27, 2025 -
Water is cold but not freezing and only the wave pool and kid pool is open. The play area where the kids can explore and climb is closed down. No buckets dumping. Water slides closed except maybe one. If you are okay with only a wave pool then okay but otherwise we won't be back. Trust the reviews they aren't lying. May 2025 making this review.

We booked a weekend stay here for our daughters birthday as the pictures and staff had told us everything was open and available for our stay . She specifically wanted to go for the splash pad area . We arrived and it was a pain in the ass just to get set up in our room and carry everything up stairs then had to walk just to get a elevator up to the third floor. We arrived at the pool area and it is dark at the splash pad area come to find out it was closed off. Stepped into the baby area and water was freezing cold. Spoke with someone and they stated it was closed the whole weekend. Already irritated we speak to front desk and get the run around. We were offered 15 percent off of dinner in the resteraunt and 5.00 cards for the arcade. By no way was that going to make up for the issues . More issues came along as we were given a free game of bowling which we couldn't even do without waiting hours and keep going back to check if it was available. And we had to choose one day we were able to do the bowling so limited on time. I had to keep going back to the front desk over and over wasting our time there just to be promised a 50.00 refund within ten days of our stay and yet still no refund. Been calling the front desk multiple times within the last 4 days as it's been almost a month . And they keep telling me they are busy and will call back and still are not returning my calls and I get the same answer each time I tell them what I am calling about . The front desk manager will call you back. Yesterday she answered and said she has other priorities and will call me back today between 1 and 2 pm . Still nothing. We also were in contact with the general manager who emailed us and said we would get refunded and be taken care of . We are still waiting . This is the temu version resort of great wolf or Kalahari . Please do not waste your time or money . Will be reporting them to BBB

My Wife and I went there this past Week with out 6 Year old. The water was freezing, even the staff was shivering and complaining about how cold they were. Half the water rides weren’t functioning and the slides were dirty with rust. This has been the worse indoor water park we’ve ever been to. I rather pay a bit more and go to great wolf lodge or Aquatopia. We got what we pay for which was a bad experience. The food was ok since it was what kept us warm. They don’t provide towels either which makes it worse.

This is the fourth year in a row we have been to H2O and it has only gotten worse each year. This year was absolutely terrible. The center point of the water park was closed down, no smaller slides, buckets of water dumping, etc. the wave pool and toddler area was open and that was about it. The air and water were absolutely freezing. It was so cold inside you had to go in the water and the water was so cold my kids lips turned blue after about 20 minutes. All the staff were in sweatshirts and sweatpants. When I talked to a manager he said he was sorry, there was nothing that could be done, but aware of how cold it was. We lasted in the water park for an hour before we went into the hotel to the arcade to salvage some of our time there. We drove over an hour just to go to the water park. The arcade was nice, but we obviously had to spend more money after the water park was a bust. It was such a shame and we won’t be back.

**An Unforgettable Honeymoon at Split Rock Resort: A Tale of Executive Mismanagement** Our honeymoon at Split Rock Resort was an experience we won't soon forget, though not for the reasons one might hope. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the executives at the top had some serious rethinking to do. **Check-In Woes** We arrived early, eager to start our romantic getaway, only to be sent away and told to return no earlier than 30 minutes before check-in. To add to the frustration, our room keys were deactivated, possibly at midnight, and by 8:07 AM, they no longer worked. This upset my wife the most, as it felt like we were being chased out. **The Water Park Fiasco** Next, we ventured to the water park, lured by a discounted rate of $75 for the two of us. Six minutes in, we discovered the water was freezing, and the park was eerily empty. It was a sad sight, especially if you're a child looking for fun. The jacuzzi, humorously dubbed the "lava spring," was out of order, and there was no drinking allowed in the pool area. The few kids around didn't seem to mind the broken slides, but we certainly did. **Dining in Solitude** Giving up on the water park, we decided to explore the hotel and grab some food. If you enjoy dining alone, this is the place for you. Most restaurants had just one other guest. The first spot we tried had slow service, but the drinks and lakeside atmosphere were worth it. We even managed to snap some lovely lakeside photos. **A Chilling Experience** Returning to our room, we found it as cold as the water park. The heating was non-existent all weekend, making for a rather frosty stay. The hotel itself was falling apart, though the rooms were clean thanks to the diligent staff. However, no amount of cleaning could fix the water damage in the tiles or the leaks from the windows. The heated tub worked once before needing a recharge, and the charcuterie board was disappointingly meatless. **The Arcade Ghost Town** Half the TVs didn't work, and everything seemed closed. The arcade was like exploring an abandoned town, but my wife and I found some enjoyment in the emptiness, reminiscent of a scene from "The Shining." **Breakfast and Beyond** Mid-week breakfast was a ticket for one item, and the park was not free. The resort seemed confused about its target audience, failing to cater to both kids and adults. The nearby walk was nice but chilly, adding to the overall cold theme of our stay. **Comparisons to Kalahari** Having been to Kalahari, the difference in quality was stark. At Split Rock, you could smell the pool from the lobby, and even if the park had been full, it would have been a sad sight with no lazy river. The water in the tub had a strange tinge, likely due to old jets, and the jacuzzi was weak. **Final Thoughts** Despite the shortcomings, my wife and I found solace in the fact that we met at a similar resort, giving us plenty to talk about. The WiFi was a small blessing, but the early deactivation of our cards at 11 AM made us feel chased out. In conclusion, Split Rock Resort has potential, but the executives need to step up their game. Until then, it's a place best remembered for its quirks and the stories it gave us to tell. Also another thing I didn't think was cool was like every table in the rooms was falling apart you can see in the photos that you have to be careful they need to be fixed better or new tables are needed.

Felt like we had a private party at the water park! Contrary to the reviews which made us apprehensive before going, we had an amazing time! We were greeted by Abby who was so amazing and completely transparent that there was a slide not working and therefore would be offered a lower price than listed on the website. Abby was so patient with our questions and with my kids it was so nice since it’s hard to meet people in customer service with her level of attentiveness these days. Then we went inside it was warm and brightly lit. All of the rides and pool areas had no lines so my kids and their friends could ride the slide and indoor surf simulator countless times! They kept saying how they couldn’t believe how many times they could go on as usually in other water parks it can be a half hour wait to go down one slide. While we have seen bigger facilities before, we had one of the best experiences here!

Its a nice clean place but it is tiny! They dont have alot of slides to ride just a few attractions. Staff is great and attentive & it doesn't get Crowded in the summer & thats the best part my family felt like we had the park to ourselves!
