I was broke down on the side of the road down towards Pittsburgh with my 5 month old son and I called Big Joes tow and they came right away and helped me with my car! The gentleman that helped me was beyond helpful and friendly! I highly recommend this company, they are super careful, caring and knowledgeable! They also didn’t price gouge me either! Treated me just like we were friends!
Steer clear of Big Joe’s Towing unless you want your vehicle reduced to a mangled wreck. I entrusted them with towing my pristine 2023 SUV after a minor breakdown, and what returned was a horror show. The tow truck driver, clearly incompetent, dragged my car with reckless abandon, leaving deep gouges in the frame, a shattered windshield, and a crumpled hood. When I confronted the owner, he shrugged it off with a smug grin, claiming it was “pre-existing damage”—a blatant lie backed by no evidence. The repair bill exceeded $5,000, and their insurance? Nonexistent. This isn’t a business; it’s a demolition crew masquerading as a towing service. The sheer negligence is staggering, and the disrespect toward customers is beyond comprehension. I warn everyone: this company will ruin your vehicle and laugh about it. Report them to the Better Business Bureau and save your car from this travesty.
When my car broke down I called Big Joe’s Towing to see if they could help me out. Clint was there in about 10 minutes to get my car on the way to the maintenance shop. When the shop told me it needed to go to the dealer for repairs a couple days later, Dillin had it there asap the next morning. Shawn was very easy to get along with and made things happen right away. Very good company, great guys. Highly recommend.

We were broke down by his business right at the intersection by Fly Away gas station. He wanted $300 to tow us 12 miles away. I told him thank you, but we were not that desperate . We got towed for $150. This company definitely uses hardship to profit, big time.
Prompt. Affordable. Professional. Did not hesitate to schedule for a flat bed tow for a '76 pontiac catalina. Other local tow companies and AAA all did not pull through or offer availabilities. 5/5 would recommend.
My uncle asked me to have two quite fragile vintage cars towed to the salvage yard. Shawn professionally arranged the tow service, I felt like I gained a friend in the process as Shawn and I discussed how best to ready the vehicles and get them on to the flatbed… meanwhile, Joe offered to drive a separate truck so that Shawn had extra hands and so both cars could be towed at the same time. This is the 2nd time I’ve used Big Joe’s Towing to cart off deteriorating cars from my uncle’s collection… HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
They dropped a car off at my work and were some of the most incompetent people I ever met instead of putting the car in neutral they were just shaking it back n forth on the deck till I had to show them how to put it in neutral and then he just left it in the middle of my parking lot would highly recommend going with another company to tow your car
Man... Joe really came through on our tow. It was memorial weekend and on a Sunday and I broke down three hours away from home. He was kind enough to let me and my fiance hop in the tow truck with him and haul us back home. There was one other tow available but they said we would have to rent a car to get home which they were all closed. This guy is super nice and gave us stand up service. Recommend everyone use him and his company over others. Thanks again for helping us Joe!
As a first time customer these guys were very professional and helpful. Blew a brake line on my mustang and these guys made the effort to come to my house in Butler and tow it to my work in Allison Park. Highly recommend and will recommend family and friends. Great work gentlemen

Joe came to our rescue on Christmas Eve in negative temps. Other businesses had several hour long wait times or were closed in observance of the holiday. Joe answered his phone and with his family in tow, he showed up quickly and was able to unlock our car within minutes. I will recommend him to anyone in need for car troubles!
My car wouldn't start in the grocery store parking lot. With friendliness and efficiency in the midst of what should have been a huge headache, the car was picked up and was taken to the dealer for service. Big Joe's will be my first call in the future and the number I give to anyone who asks.
They have a New Employee Mr. Oswald that is the most polite and honest man. I felt an instant trust when having him tow my Car for me.. He was professional and I noticed that he did a complete walk around after he completed his tie down of the vehicle... Great Hire guys!
Big Joe's is totally awesome. My engine blew about half an hour before sunset, about ten minutes before sunset I realized all hope was lost, I called, he answered quickly, showed up within about 8 minutes, took his time hooking it up making sure to not damage anything, and I was home before dark. Good conversation on the way home, and he even helped me push it into the garage! Definitely the easiest experience on the worst day of my jeeps life!
Just outside the Rivers Casino one night as the city was finally repaving a horrible street alongside the elevated rail, a worker waved me on thru the site and I immediately had a flat tire. I pulled into the casino garage Called AAA and they sent Big Joe, awesome guy, got there in no time - changed my tire (manually) quickly and gave me a life lesson about the perils of gambling. Of course since this was such a smooth fix to an aggravating situation I thought it was my lucky nite and went inside and lost all I brought lol.
