The rates are very reasonable. I come here once or twice a month with a different load of debris and trash from my small contracting business. Im usually in and out in 5-15 minutes, and the line of there is one, moves quick. Don't be late on Saturday mornings, gets busy right as they close!
First time here and with my experience won’t be the last. Dan at the scales help me understand the process and made my experience fantastic and very easy. I don’t normally leave reviews but this gentleman and place surely deserves it it’s very easy to get rid of unwanted household items and the pricing is very reasonable compared to other places I have been

The design of the traffic flow is really not good. It’s mind-boggling that they don’t put in some more scales, as that seems to be a significant bottleneck. The signage leaves much to be desired for first timers too. It was not obvious where to park to go talk to someone in the scale house.
Another thing I didn’t like is that small users in minivans and SUVs are dumping right alongside full-size garbage trucks, with a giant wheel loader that could squash you like a bug constantly zipping back and forth in the background. That setup did not seem particularly safe. For anyone planning to go for the first time, I recommend muck boots and a high-viz vest. There’s a persistent brown goo all over the floor when you step out of your vehicle to unload.
To be clear, the on-site staff was fine and explained things well enough; I just didn’t like the overall setup of the place. I’ve used smaller town dumps before, and it’s a much more pleasant experience to be segregated from the pro traffic.
First time using Seneca landfill. The employees at the scales were very helpful explaining the process to an unfamiliar customer. Cost about $25 for an SUV full. Just walk up to the window at the scale and they will explain the weighing process and provide directions on where to dump your trash.
We made five loads filling a CR-V with sack after sack of stuff during our drastic downsizing. We figured we hauled about a ton going by the receipts we were given, the lowest amount cost $11, and the heaviest $16. You simply can not find cheaper than that. It's a great facility and easy to use.
Super easy drop off, easy to navigate, just drive up, get weighed, dump stuff off and then weigh again on the way out. In and out in 15 minutes with a truckload of stuff. It is a minimum of $50 a dump so load up as much in one go as you can.
Nice people very busy on a nice day moved along though and an inexpensive way to get rid of a lot of household debris from remodeling to just yard clean up. 500+ lbs just $40
Pretty easy all told. Drive in. Get weighed. Put your stuff on the floor in the transfer building. Weigh and pay on the way out.
It was a little intimidating the first time because it was busy and there was a lot of truck traffic. But there are signs and staff at the pay station were very helpful.
1st time there. Lots of signs with instructions and helpful attendant. You off load in large covered building and the remove it with a loader. Done. Good rates
Brought a load of garbage in for the first time today and was pleased with how helpful the ladies in the front were with me. Both Deb and the blonde, also know as the dragon lady or for those with respect, Pamela, respectfully took time to help me out with the process and were very kind while doing so. I’ll def use your site again when needed and again thank you ladies!
Prices and ease of use is good. As other's have stated the blonde haired dragon lady operating the scale is an issue. She clearly wakes up on the wrong side of the bed every day. I can only guess she is either related to the owners, or has pictures of him on her phone. Seriously lady, if you're that effing miserable in your job, quit and get a new one. Preferably one where you have nothing to do with the public. Or..a government job.
My father and myself have been using the landfill for years. Never felt the need to make a complaint despite the scale woman being miserable and rude every time. Printer was broken, didnt say anything until after running the card that they couldnt give me a receipt. Asked for a hand written recipet for my taxes. The younger woman then started to laugh in my face, I asked again for a hand written recipet. Then the older blonde, the lady at the scale, joined In laughing at me. I have never experienced someone talking down and laughing at me like that before. Ended up walking out without a receipt. Very irritating and dissapointing.
Very happy to be able to recycle, but the person on the phone said they don’t have public recycling. Ug, they do. I go regularly now. She was super rude. This was a while back.
Just left the landfill. And very upset about that Joanne that is still somehow employed there. She is the ruddest person we ever came across. We gave her a fifty dollar bill and was rude to us because of it. Didn't want to accept it. Sign says no hundred dollar bills and the people with me went and parked in lot to wait for us and she YELLED at us saying we can't be driving around the parking lot. Which we weren't. I'll never come back if she's still there..put the very kind blound with customers. She is very polite and good at the job. Joanne clearly hates her job. Been coming there for years and it's quite clear
