Strongly suggesting that you take your car to Auto Tech in Smithfield, PA. My Volvo was in need of numerous repairs. I previous had it at 2 other garages that either could not do the work or were over priced. I received “detailed” updates during the process, there were no unexpected costs and the service was impressive . Also, the cost was < 1/3 of other estimates I received. Days later, I’m a very pleased customer.
I was having AC issues and blew $1,000 at another shop which evidently had no idea what they were doing after 3 attempts at repairing. Randy and his team had it fixed in a fraction of the time AND PRICE. They gave things a thorough inspection and gave me a call to discuss options and estimates. Very professional all around! I will continue to use this shop in the future.
I have taken my vehicle to Auto Tech several times and have always experienced amazing service. Not only do they take great care of my vehicle, they have always been honest and never pushed services that weren’t needed. In fact, they always give me as much information as possible about things they recommend versus things that are absolutely necessary, and help me prioritize what needs taken care of first. I love all of the staff there and appreciate everything they’ve done for me and my vehicle.
I had the pleasure talking to Randy about my Jeep Alignment. He made some recommendations prior to alignment that would be best for my vehicle. I am extremely grateful for his recommendations and kind heart! I will definitely be passing along his business information to others for services!
Took 3 months to put a motor in my daughters Cadillac then said the converters where knocked out and now when you put it in drive sounds like theres no exhaust on it! I had a warranty and still cost me $2000 dollars its sicking I would take it back but it would be a other $600 for them to look at it and make a different excuse!!!
Randy and his team had to install 3 Jasper motors in my 2013 Dodge Ram pickup. The first 2 had issues from the rebuild process that were not known and came from Jasper that way. This was during COVID, when everything was so hard to get. By the time we got to the 3rd motor, I'm sure Randy was tired of my truck and the motor. Through it all, Randy was very professional, thoughtful and explained the process throughly. The motor(s) were yanked out and new ones put in within 2 days. Cannot recommend Auto Tech enough!
After taking my truck not only to the dealer but also another shop that couldn't figure out the problem or just didn't want to figure it but Auto Tech did. Back to running great. Definitely recommend them anyone needing work on thier vehicles.
Took my car there to be looked at after it stopped driving and they thought the problem was either the torque converter or fuel pump. Tried getting it towed through their AAA service and after a couple days I got curious since it hadn't been delivered yet. Tried reaching out to them via email since that is my way of communication and that is what I told them my preferred way for contacting me when I went in person and I haven't been able to get a response from them in months. My car is nowhere to be found and they will not provide me with any information. Very unprofessional after getting good recommendations through friends.
They are very nice people here. They work with you and they are considerate of your feelings and needs. They provide great service and explain your options. I'm very pleased with there service and I'm sure you would be to.
In a world where almost everyone is looking to rip you off, Randy is a breath of fresh air. Honest, Professional and able to repair issues with my car which other mechanics said were "unfixable". Have been going to him for years and wouldn't think of taking my car anywhere else.
It was terrible place charge $20.00 just to put the tire on we had our own tire my daughter came back with our car and said they charged $ 20.00 I called the lady answered the phone and said it was $ 16.00 plus tax and she said they told her to charge $ 20.00 even they charge $4.00 for tax come on this is smithfield not Pittsburg that isn't even the worst of it 2 hour after the tire was on it went flat it won't hold air have to put air in it at least 3 to 4 times a day and they bent something when you make a left turn it wants to slide they put there Jack in wrong place and damage something I would not recommend this place to work on a tricycle they charge $4.00 tax and damage my car they need turned into the better business bought a bunch of clowns please don't take your vehicle there unless you want more problems then what you already have and over priced don't know how to figure out the tax on a dollar a place like this gives a good mechanic a bad name it's very sad
Best experience ever with a towing company. It only took about 20 minutes for the driver to arrive (after hours). The driver was professional, and they had the lowest price. I couldn't ask for more.
Randy and all the crew there were so great to us when we were looking to buy a car. Gave us good advice and spent the time to explain things to us in a way we could understand. We are only going to this shop from now on. Wonderful experience!
