I went here recently to use their Notary services. I transferred a $600 trailer title and got a license plate. I was charged $258 for this simple transaction. When I asked them to break down the fees so I could understand how much of that was for the state and how much was paid to them, they got extremely defensive and refused to clearly explain the amount. I do not recommend using their services since they clearly don’t want you to know how much they are charging. They want you to think the majority of the cost is state charges.
Hassler’s sells non-ethanol gas that I like to run in small engines and my vw beetle. Although vehicle sales does not seem to be there strong point. I purchased a vehicle from them and they were not honest with everything they told me, and did not follow through with their word about servicing the vehicle before selling it, and it was given to us very dirty. Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I’ll definitely keep buying gas from them.
They ripped me off and lied about all the things that were wrong with vehicle a d then he would not return my calls. I basically gave him all my money for nothing!! Do not buy from here!!

I submitted paperwork to obtain a temporary handicap placard on 10/27. Paid cash. Was told it be available in 3 weeks and they would call me when it was in.
Called the middle of November (around when I was told it would be in) and was told “they are taking longer to process things”.
Called PennDot last day of November,
THEY NEVER GOT ANYTHING FROM HASSLERS.
I will now be delivering paperwork in person to Harrisburg.
And I’m out the $20 cash I paid Hasslers.
Very poor customer service. Not able/willing to email or fax a receipt from a prior title transfer (6/13/20). Then charged $3.00 for a reprinted receipt. I always try to support local businesses, but a walk to the filing cabinet "because it was two months ago" equating to a $3.00 charge has just cost you any further business from myself, friends and family. Fees out of your control I can and do understand, the $220.00 that it cost for a title transfer of a gifted vehicle and new licence plate seemed pricey, but understandable. The extra charge and inability to email/fax a simple receipt is just unbelievable in this day and age.
ONE OF THE LADIES THAT IS A NOTARY,
IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, SHE IS SCARTIC, UNFRIENDLY, AND DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DO ANYTHING YOU ASK HER.
SHE RUSHES THROUGH GETTING EVERYTHING DONE.
Always make it a point to stop here for non ethanol fuel to top off my bike when I'm in the area or when I make a trip down the road to J&H smokehouse. The fuel is great quality and sold at a much fairer price than it is where I live about 60 miles north. Although the high grade is only 91 octane it is still about 50 cents a gallon less than the non ethanol fuel where I live .
Would give it a no star if I could

The notary fees are OUTRAGEOUS!!! Most places charge $35...this place charges $85!!! And you get an ugly #@$ with way too much make up on trying to hide some of the ugly
The notary lady was very rude... I kept going back and forth talking to penn dot and telling her what they said and she's like everyone says they talk to penn dot.... we'll I did and that dark hair curly lady didn't know anything!!! I wouldn't even give a star if I didn't have to
Went to try to do a vehicle transfer and she was very rude. Had no idea how to do her work. Even talked to PD and they told us go to a different place! She needs to go back to school!!
I came here to do a title transfer and the fees are through the roof if your looking to make a transfer best to look around before you settle here. Other than that they're a regular gas station with food and snacks for sale and the 100% gas is pretty rare now that most gas stations mix it up with ethanol.
Horrible servise the lady helpings me had no idea wat was doing and they registered my truck gross wait lower than my unladen weight ! Now I bought trailer and realized it wrong went back and they will not refund me anything ! Just saying my advise DONT go to hassler auto !
I like how they do everything notary and all in one. It was quick and hassle free. But was very disappointed with some service they charged me 70 bucks for tint removal and all they did was pull it off all the glue was all over the windows yet.
Do not buy from this place. Most of the vehicles they have for sale have inspection stickers that are slapped on. They buy older cars at auctions that will not pass inspection, slap on stickers, and offer them for sale. They try to cover their own asses by putting a number on the inspection sticker that makes it look as if the car was inspected 2 months prior to the current month so no one would get suspicious when they look over the car and find a bunch of inspection issues. If you are a mechanic you can pick out things on the cars that would not be passed at even the most lenient inspection shop that you'd find. I cannot believe these guys are arrogant and shady enough to slap these inspection stickers on vehicles with shot tires and bad exhaust leaks that's a dead giveaway to even a normal person who isn't a mechanic that the inspection was fake and not legit. They also mislead the general public with their ads online to get you up there to the car lot just to find out the car you saw on the internet doesn't look the same in person.
Before I write about the poor vehicle I purchased from Hassler's Auto Sales, I would like to preface this experience with a brief story about who I am and why I am writing this bad review.
I am not the kind of person who writes bad reviews about service at an establishment, in fact, this if my first. If I order a steak at a restaurant and it is not cooked correctly or the food is bad, I eat everything on my plate and do not complain. I do not like doing this but I have had such a bad experience that I would like everyone to think twice before making a purchase from Hasslers Auto Sales.
The gentleman who I purchased the car from did a great deal to find me a car. He educated me on the types of cars in my price range and looked through many auctions to find me a vehicle. I was told the vehicle I bought ran and drove great. When I returned home with the vehicle, it rained and the car leaked inside. There was water on the driver and passenger side floor, soaking and puddling on the carpet. I was not aware of this problem when I purchased the car, if I did, I would not have purchased the vehicle. He said he understood and would fix the problem. After two weeks, the car leaked again. After communication with him, he basically said he has done all he can do. I also showed the car to an unbiased mechanic and he was amazed there were current inspection stickers on the vehicle. He said they must have just "slapped the stickers on the vehicle."
Now I have a car that leaks horribly when it rains and is beginning to show signs of transmission problems and there is nothing I can do.
Hopefully this seller will inform you of problems but if not, you are out of luck.Please be cautious before purchasing a vehicle from this establishment, and bring a mechanic. Some of the vehicles do not even warrant inspection stickers, even though they are current. I would not recommend buying a car from Hasslers Auto Sales.
Ethanol free gasoline really does deliver higher MPG and also stores better than gasoline with ethanol. I always try to get gas on my way past - credit cards (currently) work at the pump 24/7. Might be sort of dark at night... otherwise HASSLERS ROCKS
