They got recommended by a good friend. Mike is the owner. Great guy, friendly, helpful and courteous. He's not the problem.
His one mechanic is. EVER since he worked on my vehicle, there's been on problem after another. Mike said he was going to terminate him, but just smacked his hands. He told me he'd NEVER work on my car again----WRONG! Since this person who calls himself a mechanic (andrew) touched my car. The dashboard is lite up like a pin ball machine.
Never again will I take my car there. In fact, I had to buy another vehicle and get rid of mine! I found another mechanic who does great work. Like I said, Mike the owner is a great person, and his other mechanics are very good, but as long as he has Andrew there, forget it. That's the ONLY mistake Mike is making with his business. Mike says he garrentee's his work. The replacement part he put on was from a junkyard, and that broke too. but that guy who thinks he's a mechanic GOTTA GO!
After a bad experience at another chain shop, a friend suggested Jam. I took both of my cars for state inspection. The first car had been to another shop that tried to sell me repairs I didn't need. Mike at JAM pointed out that I was right and didn't try and scam me like the first shop. The second car that I took also passed inspection and Mike showed me something that I needed to keep an eye on to prevent future issues. Again I wasn't sold anything. I normally do all my own work. As I get older this is getting more difficult. I'm expecting that Mike will be getting a a lot more work from me.
Had my 2004 a4 in for a timing belt and water pump Andrew and Kevin did and amazing job. Made sure to take the rest of my cars there. Never had a bad experience.

A month or so ago I blew a transmission line on my pickup while driving home on 222. I had Catch Towing & Recovery tow and drop my truck off at JAM after hours on a weeknight. By the time I called in the next morning, my truck was next in line to come in. By early afternoon they had my truck fixed ! I paid my bill over the phone and picked it up after work. Less than 24 hours after having it towed in and dropped off it was fixed and back on the road.
I couldn't say enough good things about this place, and I'll be using them again for other service I need done.

Finding an honest mechanic & garage isn't easy, but I can save you the time. Mike has an awesome garage & his guys are very thorough, knowledgeable & honest...oh yeah & they're good mechanics. You'd be hard pressed to find a better local garage to go to, give him a call .
We are traveling the US and had some issues with our shocks and a radiator leak. The JAM team tightened the shocks and were able to find the radiator issue very quickly. They were great! If we lived in this area we would definitely be back! Thanks guys!
I cannot recommend Mike and his team enough. After two other garages quoted me over $1,000 just to pass inspection even with a few items I knew needed to be addressed, Mike was *honest* with me and got me back on the road quickly and for a fraction of that price yet still with quality work. We will be taking all of our cars to him from now on, even though there is another mechanic three blocks from our home, and I am telling everyone I know to use him as well.
Mike and his crew have been taking care of our cars for years. The service is phenomenal, the prices are extremely reasonable, but most importantly they are honest. They don’t try to sell you on something you don’t need, and no one is inventing broken parts that don’t need fixing. They work within your budget to meet your needs and get you back in the road.
We moved a bit further away a decade ago, but we still drive our cars the hour to get to JAM to have them inspected and serviced. It’s worth the peace of mind!

Mike is fair and honest! He does a great job running the garage and pays particular attention to issues involving your vehicle. He has two mechanics working along side him. I trust him with my 2007 Honda odyssey van that I had for 17 years and almost 200,000 miles. Their service is great! Mike will always check out your car’s problem and give you a call with a price of how much it will be to fix it, before going ahead with it. They’re fast and seem to always fix it right!
Also, when you schedule an appointment he usually can have you in within 1-3 days which is very convenient. Definitely give JAM Automotive a try!
Mike and his team are very knowledgeable. They work at the problem until it is resolved and have never "pushed" for anything that isn't necessary while working on our cars. We have used this business for years and wouldn't go anywhere else!
Mike, Andrew, and crew are the very best! Mike’s integrity and many years of knowledge make JAM the first place we call for all of our auto repair needs. Recently we had a quote for nearly $500. When I picked up the car, the total was only $120. I pointed this out, thinking they had grabbed the wrong receipt. The truth was that when they went to replace the suspected problem part, they found that it was intact and the fix was a minor problem nearby. We all know how that story would have gone at a different garage, but not here! From the female customer’s perspective, the guys have never talked over my head and always make sure that I fully understand the problem and resolution.

Been going here a few years now. Overdue for review! No bad experiences. In fact, Mike and his staff have gone above and beyond more than once. The price is very competitive and work is solid. IMO honesty and integrity matter.
