As a retired Factory mechanic. I love going to to MB Glick. I have purchased Stainless and structural steel. SS is $2 and Steel is $.55 a pound as of 12/25.
I have been coming here for years.
They are an industrial junk yard. It is frustrating at first. It is ever changing. Employees are busy. Yeah, the first time is overwhelming. But, you get used to the place. You can understand how it is organized and how it is not. Lots of stuff moves through the yard. I go often enough to look for metals, plastics, hardware, benches, railing, pipe and tube.
It's awesome what you can find if you take the time to explore it. It is pretty much self serve. Getting help is possible but, takes time. The forktrucks keep pretty busy helping customers load up. Pricing is usually below average. I really depend on it for various projects.

Wide selection of stuff! Of course it’s horribly organized, but what do you expect. However, horrible customer service. Took an hour+ just to find someone free to load me plate steel. Then when they weighed it, it appeared the scales were not very accurate…. Yikes.
Bad, promise on price by one person, changed every time we talked to someone there.
If an employee gives you a price ,that price should be honored. Then they try to rip me off by giving me a really low price. Very bad business dealing. They're cheap and that comes from one of they're own employees. I recommend never going there and if anyone asks me I will give a bad review.

I have been going there for a long time getting suff from them the old owner was very fair bought a bunch of fitting from this guys and I calculated when I went home every peace if I bout them from Lowes I would have paid less then what they charged me this people have become really greedy get them online for a better price it's my first and last time going there again good luck
I've been here many times for steel for projects. I Have always found what I needed, an at a good price. An the guy in the office, an the guys in the yard, always help you.. They all are friendly an do what they can to assist you...
Guys don't buy any instrument here or like any metal or something they are deceiving. They sell at the same price as a new one, new ones cost this price.

Do your homework I bought two air cylinders off of this place for $40 a piece when I got home neither one of them works the seals were all bad and they do not hold air at all. So I went on the internet to look for a rebuild kit and discovered that the same exact air cylinders are 30 dollars a piece brand new
They have all types of metal at very reasonable prices. Everything from small sheet steel to humongous I-beams. If you're willing to walk there yard you'll find some good deals.
Great place to find used industrial supplies. I've bought conveyors, motor starters, a vacuum, a mixer, a tank, and assorted metal for various projects I built. They've been a great supply source for me--if only they weren't 45 minutes away!
I called ahead of time just to make sure they would have what I need. They were certain that they had it. Unfortunately I wasted my time hauling a trailer all the way out to their location with little to no help and with that what I needed.
I brought a load of items that contained steel this past Saturday after I had called and described, in detail, what I had. They said to bring the items in. It was heavy and I had three people help me load the pickup truck. When I arrived, they told me they didn't want the items. By this time, it was noon and no other places were open to get rif of my truckload of items. They were so heavy that I couldn't unload them by myself, so I was stuck with a loaded truck all weekend. I wish they'd have told me not to bring the items in the first place, it really caused problems for me! I don't believe I will be back.
This place is great they have almost any kind metal you need and many other things. The people there are friendly and will help you I give this business 10 stars I go almost once every 2 weeks.
Pretty disorganized. Do not know what they have. Prices are good but office people do not seem interest in helping
at all to find anything. Disappointing!

We will NEVER be coming back here. After the fact that MIKE screamed at us and literally got inches from our face in the scrap yard because we were about to dispose of a tire, which we had no clue we couldn’t dump because they have a huge tire pile. This place is a joke, NO employee should get in their customers faces!!
Been there many times, my favorite place to shop. If they don’t have it chances are it wasn’t made yet. The price of most items you couldn’t beat with a stick. Except for that Chicago bender!
Spent 2 hours searching for S.S. perforated sheet, without success, but found S.S. screen baskets that I could modify, went to pay, the employee said he couldn't sell them to me because they had to be sold with Valves since the Baskets were sitting next to the valve.,He said I could buy the whole valve, Which I didn't need, 40 minutes each way, Hmmmm, Next time I'll just go to Pollock in Pottstown, Pa Or Emritt in Hatfield, Pa. Or Just order a sheet of it from Hoover Steel in Schwenksville, Pa. Sometimes the cheapest place isn't the best deal,
Great place for cheap metal! Bought all the metal I needed for a chain link fence at 1/3 the cost of Lowes. Also can find other stuff here like plexiglass.
Called 2 months ago on the price of scrapping 40% copper wire, employee told me 68 cents a pound. Called today and Eli( the manager over there) told me the price had gone down and said they would pay 35 cents a pound. A simple google search shows the price of copper has only gone down a few cents. Eli obviously was trying to take advantage of my company and needless to say we went elsewhere.
