A shout out to Steven & his crew on Saturday. 03/08/25. My appointment was at 11:00 a.m. & I was done by 11:45am. This is the only location I visit as it's close to my house + I've been going there for several years now because they have an excellent service staff who are very knowledgeable. They go above & beyond to make sure everything is to your satisfaction before you leave. I really appreciate that as some places will get you in & out as fast as they can, Kost tire will never do that to you, they're not satisfied until you are satisfied! Thank you Stephen & the crew from Saturday morning, it was a pleasure to do business with you! Best local company to do business with, they've been here 83 years so they know what they're doing. Walk ins are always welcome or you can make an appointment as they are very accommodating!
Noticed a screw stuck in my tire, so I dropped my car off for repair in the morning and had it back before lunch. Best of all, there wasnt any charge for the service, they offer it as a courtesy!
They quote one price, when I went there for my scheduled appointment I was told there would be a hours wait or I could come back again tomorrow. Went the next day to be chaged 50% more than what I was told it would cost. The people doing the work were excelent but the owners or management are embarrassing and I will never give the another dollar. I hope the corporate office see this and they fire their incompetent management staff before this unprofessional actions cause this buisness to close down. There are tire changing places all over the vally that conduct buisness professionally.
Went in for a free service and that's exactly what I got. Had to check my alignment after getting a set of new tires and balance at another shop and Kost not only serviced my truck but gave me a print out of the service alignment test it included the results for my own personal files for service. Thank you for your honesty and integrity. It was more than a pleasant surprise.
Stephen Dengler provided excellent costumer service. It was my 1st time at the shop and he was really professional and helpful. Waiting time was fast and service was excellent. Will visit again.
I cant say enough good things about the Kost tire on Wyoming Ave. They have plugged at least 5 tires for me and today my tractor tire had a blow out while i was in the middle of a job and I ran it down and they took care of it right away. I was back up and running within a half hour. I take all my vehicles there for tires and always recommend them. Hard to find great service like this in today’s world!
I was at Mavis Tire and they told me my inspection was going to cost around $800.00. They also offered me a credit card to pay for it. I told them I wasn't going to spend that and left.
I went to Kost and told the manager what the guy at Mavis said. I told him I knew I needed new tires. He had the car taken into the garage and after they checked it, it didn't need anything.
For the next two years, this manager was great. When I needed something done, he told me and would offer to show me the bad parts. I had faith in him and trusted him. There were times I needed a lot of work done and there were times I didn't. It was OK because of the trust that was established.
When he quit, every time I came in, it cost me #1,500.00. It didn't matter what I came in for, it ended up costing $1,500.00 or more.
I was going to give it one more chance. I came in for an inspection. Stephen took care of me. Every time they found something that needed to be done, he told me about it. He gave me some extremely good advice. In other words, the trust is there again. It didn't cost $1,500.00 or even $500.00. He gave me what my car needed and that was it.
Because of Stephen, I will return to Kost for future problems with my car. You have a wonderful employee in Stephen. I can't say enough good things about him.

I find it very hard to believe I recently took my car and got the tires rotated and balanced. I just took a look at the tires. They were not rotated and there are no new weights on any of the tires so I feel like I’ve been scammed.
Excellent Customer Service! Vickki and Rick were very helpful and courteous during my visits to the Exeter Store. Got to speak with the Technician Chris B. about the problem I was have with my tires leaking air. Chris diagnosed the problem and repaired my tires quickly while I waited. Thank You!
My husband just brought his f150 in as a new customer for an inspection. He said they scheduled him next day to come in, pricing was very fair and reasonable, they were professional and service was quick. They gained a new customer. Thanks guys
Normally, I do not make a habit of going to Kost. At other locations in PA, I've been treated awful or they've tried to pull a fast one on me, but the Exeter location is an exception. They treat me with respect, honesty, and integrity. I very much appreciate that. Being a woman and showing up at a mechanic is normally not a good experience, but I've never had an issue at this location.
The Exeter location was great. Fixed out tire on our Tahoe and when I picked it up I asked how much she said no charge. I said are you sure, she said yes. She was very polite and very professional. Will do business there again. Thank u Joe

Was very pleased by the service here. The staff was courteous, friendly and efficient. My car had its tires rotated and balanced for free, since this is where I bought them. The service is always excellent.
Kost Tire in Exeter has a wonderful staff. They take care of my concerns and explain any issues. I appreciate all of their help. I also appreciate the early and late drop offs. That makes things very convenient.
Took my vehicle to be inspected. Was told I needed front control arms for a price of $1800. Told them to take it off the lift as I have a warranty that would cover that. Took it to Ken pollock and jeep dealership that accepts my warranty and both said they weren’t needed. Beware!!
I don’t live in the area and someone said to go to KostTires. They could not have been any nicer or accommodating. I had a razor in my tire! They repaired it quickly, and I was on my way.
I will definitely use them when I’m in the area if I have any car needs. Everyone was great and Vikki the assistant manager was awesome.

Hey ! Just wanted to show some love to kost tires in Exeter pa! Had an issue with my 2017 chevy trax! One tire kept leaking air ! Vicky ! Helped me out ! Was able to fix my tire! And convinced me as well get an oil change!!

Their customer service is excellent and the counter representatives and mechanics personnel are courteous, respectful and accommodating to my needs for my vehicle. They've inspected my vehicle numerous times, refitted new tires & performed necessary repairs to be certain my vehicle was safe and roadworthy. I would recommend this Kost location when you require service on your vehicle. Their dependability, expertise, charges and location are excellent. I knew going in my vehicle needed some TLC before it was eligible to pass state inspection.
The manager on duty was more than helpful and assisted me with the best corrective actions for my car and even provided and estimate on the work so there was no sticker shock. He also didn’t try to sell me on services I don’t need. For example, I thought I needed front and rear brakes but because of their honesty, I left with just the axle needed bc the other was still good.
Always a great experience at the Exeter, PA location and that’s why I continue to return.
Excellent work and customer service from my visit for rear brake work at Kost in Edwardsville yesterday. Brake grinding noise gone and covered now for 60,000 miles. I noticed that unfortunately one of the car seats got dirty. Tom immediately lmk that he would take care of it and he sure did! Today Bernie from Summit Auto Shop in Kingston cleaned up the spot and others I had no charge. Extra thanks to Tom and Bernie!

My first experience with Kost tire was wonderful. I called Rick, gave him the tire size. He checked while I waited on the phone, then said he would have the tire the next day. I set an appt. All I can said it was an overall a pleasant experience. The price was more than fair, the service was excellent from start to finish. Update: the other day I got a bolt in the tire and while there were patch places a little closer, I drove over to Kost because of the great treatment last time. Still impressed! They got the car in within 10 minutes and the price was unbeatable.
