I came just to get a brake light bulb first they couldn’t assist with putting it in and legit told me he didn’t know how to so after I took it somewhere else they said they just didn’t work so I tried to exchange or get a replacement after they say well he should have told you to check before u left we don’t do replacement when it says it right on the box

They had everything I needed in an emergency, which was nice to not have to drive all over town.

Hello everyone, I bought a battery and it started to discharge in 3 days for some reason. I wanted to exchange the battery but they refused me. They scanned it and said that the battery was in good condition (if it was in good condition and I wanted to exchange it, they could have exchanged it. I explained the reason to you, but no). There is no reason to change it. I explained the situation and said that the battery was discharging on its own. I went to Toyota service and they said that there were no problems with the car, most likely the problem was in the battery. I bought a battery elsewhere and installed a new battery. The problem was solved. You, manager and employees, could have helped me but you decided to refuse.

I needed wipers before the rain tomorrow and the friendly staff went out of their way to find my size(was a special order someone didn't pick up) they don't carry them in the store, as I was paying he went outside and changed the wipers out, wish I got his name, will definitely go back

They installed a new battery for me. The service was fast and the employees were very nice and helpful.

The guys at this AAP were great. I rolled in with my radiator spewing fluid and cracked at the hose connection and Neill came right out and took a look at it. My boyfriend showed up a few minutes later and together he and Neill diagnosed the problem. Neill had a reasonably priced new radiator for me in short order. Neill provided all the tools and one of the guys brought out some cardboard to put down for my boyfriend to put under him while he worked. I was hanging out for a little while and noticed that all of the guys were helpful to everyone and even seemed to go above and beyond. The whole time the crew was attentive to our developing needs and provided input and assistance. Despite the rain and cold, my boyfriend was able to get the work done and we hit the road. Guy was great. Got a sweet deal on wiper blades and he installed in poor weather conditions. Stuck up for me when another customer was being rude and ignorant to me.

Great store, and always helpful with installing batteries and wiper blades. Neil was especially helpful. He helped me remedy an issue with my wiper blades. If you are in the Munhall/Homestead/West Homestead area, this is the cars parts store of choice!

I used our handheld computer for the cuz on my truck to see why the vehicle is semi-stalling out. When you borrow their equipment, you have to give your driver's license. When you're done you bring it back in and you get your license back. Got a lot of codes out of the machine but the truck is 26 years old so I'm chasing the ghost. I mean I have my answers. I think time will only tell

I went to Advanced Auto parts to purchase a window regulator for my Ford Escape. The "other guys" didn't have it but Advanced Auto did. The gentleman behind the counter that helped me (I'm sorry, I did not get his name and I wish I had) was wonderful. He was professional, helpful and courteous. He pulled the regulator out and I was on my way in no time. At very little cost. ($63.00) Much better than an estimated $300 cost at a mechanic, I thought. If I can do it myself I will. So, as always, take this review with a grain of salt. Your mileage may vary! Until next time!

Went in for electrical troubles during a road trip. It was very busy but Alfred gave me amazing service! Helped me test, diagnose, price compare, and replace. I was being a little dumb bc of how stressed I was having the power die while driving, but Alfred was awesome about it and helped me get everything I needed. Probably the best customer service I've ever gotten anywhere. Give this man a raise!!

Alfred the general manager was so much help today! He helped me determine that my battery was the problem, found the compatible one, and installed it for me very quickly! Couldn’t be more thankful!

I don't believe I got the guys name but he was great! I got a check engine light and my checker died on me so I stopped in to see if they had any since I was driving by. My guy was helping another customer when I came in but as soon as he was done he greeted me and asked if I needed any help. Asked if they sold any code readers or could check mine, and he grabbed the device and told his Co worker. The whole interaction was great and he was very helpful and informative. As a woman who does not know much about mechanical things and definitely does not know much about cars not having any male figures in my life to ask a simple question or to tell me what certain car lights mean I ventured off to Advanced Auto on West 7th Avenue in Homestead Pennsylvania the manager there his name is Sebastian and he is the epitome of customer service this man is kind knowledgeable and will help you if you need help or point you in the direction that you should be going to get the help that is needed for your car I don't know what I would do if this man was not a part of this auto mechanics store in the area of which I live not only that this Advanced Auto store well install windshield wipers if you need them they will install batteries if you need them they will charge them they will check your batteries for you this is a great place and it's friendly the workers who work behind the counter in the store are eager to assist also so if you are in the need of parts for your vehicle or questions that maybe you don't have the answer for check these guys out they may have to help you need or the direction in which you should go

I went in and asked if they could test my battery to see if it needs to be placed. The rep said sure, he'll just help the last customer in line and then come out. I told him my make & model, he asked if I was parked against the wall, and I said yes. I went and waited outside by my car (it was idling because I'd just had it jumped). I waited 30 minutes and the guy never came out. I went over to Auto Zone and they gave me fantastic service.

Employees were helpful, greeted me as I walked in and directed me to the section I needed. There was plenty inventory of the bulb I needed, and most of all, the correct sizes were in the correct places, like it's supposed to be! It was a pleasant trip with great employees!

Great service from the staff and they have what you need to take care of your vehicle! Recommend this Advance Auto Parts to everyone!!

Terribly rude and inappropriate. The last time I went there, the belt in my car fell out somehow. Upon discovering this, the guy held it in the air to show a police officer that just arrived, swinging it in the air & laughing. I immediately snatched it off of him and left. The misfortune of others is not humorous and it was an expensive fix. No empathy in words or actions and very immature in nature. Then today a friend of mine wanted to return a UPS Package and apparently they accept them here. I just KNEW it would be something. First attempt, they immediately told us they didn't have any packing tape. I went home and got mine. Second attempt, she simply asked if the label needed to go a specific way and the young, long hair blonde guy says, "I don't know. I don't work for UPS". I immediately took over, taped the label and sealed the box. They clearly don't wanna partner with UPS and are quick to tell you what they "can't" do here. Customer service requires soft skills and a "can do" attitude. Focusing on the negative or what you "can't do", promotes a negative experience & you'll always get a negative review. I'm honestly surprised this place has 4-stars at the time of this writing.

The battery was dying in my car. When I went in they offered me a variety of choices based on price, and length of warranty. Once I made my choice they grabbed the battery and installed it for me. Fast competent friendly service. I will definitely go back

Chris was very hands-on and helpful! He even handed a pair of gloves to someone fixing their light so they didn’t touch anything dangerous. He even called another auto place to make sure they had the part so I didn’t waste my gas! Sweet guy and went above and beyond for their customers :)

Ryan S. was very helpful when I went in to get new wiper blades. I barely got in the door before he offered his help, then he looked up my car in the system to get the correct sizes, removed the old wipers himself without my even asking, and installed the new ones - all in a miserable, chilly rain that he didn't seem to mind at all. I was very impressed at the level of customer service.

Waited at the counter for assistance and the worker just stood in an aisle finishing his project for 2-3 minutes. Didn't seem like anyone else was working with him. When he finally came over, I asked where I could find the tow hitch section and he pointed with his face and said "over there". Never actually helping me, I looked everything over they had but decided to go somewhere else for my hitch needs. They are usually very helpful with battery info but I was extremely disappointed in that visit.

Understandably long wait in line. Usually never busy when I go there but today was different. Since there was no shoes or clothing to browse while waiting, I left. I'll stop back in on another day. Typically very knowledgeable staff and a daily military discount.

Staff here is very helpful. My car was having trouble starting and they ran diagnostics on my vehicle to determine that it was the battery and not another issue such as the alternator or starter. They then installed the new battery for me at no cost. Great service and great prices. Warranties are great as well!
