Weight scales local and easy to pull into! Really good guys, beyond fair pricing, a solid resource to have in the area. Getting my trailer ready to pickup a car all the way in CA and needed to get it weighed before title/registering. I was in and out super quick with the weight certificate (if that's what it's called). Thanks again guys!
If i could give no stars i would. I was there to sell my scrap and the employee decided to start saying racist and homophobic slurs. I will never be back
Arrogant representative laughing about simple questions on phone today; after Ive had 2 seperate trailers get damaged from thier incompetent operators that they of course took no responsibility for, Ill go elsewhere.
Lately they have shorted me out of the weight of my scrap. I took 240 lbs. of steel and they paid me for 200. That's $3.60 ,which isn't much but I'm sure it adds up for the Grecos. They also wanted to take a pound off the weight of my copper for a small plastic bucket that maybe weighed 2 ounces. Not good business practices.
I took a load of scrap down there once that weighed 60 lb more than a load I took to Thompson's and I got $100 less I will never go back there! Thompson's is where you get the money for the good aluminum that I was taking down there from doing fencing and it was left over scrap literal straight up aluminum not even used yet just leftover scrap from fencing and they low balled me on the price hence why I will never go back there I will go where I get the most money for my scrap which is Thompson's.
$6.00 a 100Lbs for shredder? GAS is $4.00 a gallon! You’re leaving me $2.00 to work with after I pay for the fuel to make your business work. And I noticed on your scale, once I weigh in after I unload my truck & the weight displays, IT INCREASES BY 20lbs!!! Have you ever heard of weights and measurements of Allegheny county? You may be hearing from them soon.
I have been scrapping since the 1970s with my father and I've been going there ever since why not get money for your scrap? I recommend these guys God bless.
Had to stop and drop some scrap off. The guys there are super helpful and kind. Was in and out of there in no more than 5 minutes. It was my first time there and they made it so easy.
I have been dealing with this company off & on for years now ! And I will say the might not pay what its worth, however the convenience of where I live to where they r is only about 20 mins ! So on that end I will continue to do business with them
Doing business with them from out of town - everyone has been helpful. Yard staff is friendly, dispatch is on point, drivers are hands on with problems and container switches. Have not dealt with non ferrous department.
Been going here a long time because they used to treat me like a valued asset for their buisness. Now they won't pay advertised prices. Take your metals elsewhere.
The best scrap yard in South West Pennsylvania without a doubt very nice people scrap paid in cash and if your dropping off precious metals see the main man Eddie he'll help you out and get you squared away!!!!
I have visited this place several times, oddly they NEVER write down the correct weight,.. it's always LESS.
I have even had a discussion with crew as to why copper pipe isn't categorized as #1 copper ?
Very shady group, needs investigated by Attorney General's Office and Office of Weights & Measures !
