DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. They never picked up my trash 6 WEEKS IN A ROW as a new customer. I had to call every single week to ask them to pick it up. Each time I got “i’m sorry i’ll talk to the manager” I asked the manager to follow up with me and they never did. Waste of money and my time to do their job.
The workers are almost always, leaving some of my trash during the pickups; they half-ass the job. I'm so glad I bought a ring camera for not only this, but for the bullshit the city gives in fines when it comes to them not doing their jobs.
Great experience with Weidle!!! Even get emails about holiday times when trash pick up are different days. Called office several times to ask questions and pay my bill always very nice and takes time for me. Happy with their great service!!!
Absolutely disgusting that they trust this employee to drive a trash truck when he drives with nearly twice the amount of legal alcohol in his system and caused an accident on his motorcycle. Imagine the damage he could do driving a trash truck through neighborhoods!

The office staff is usually easy to talk to. The truck used to come through the neighborhood in the middle of the night, but for the last year or so it's been after 7 am when they come through.
As someone who’s family member worked for a trash company for 30+ years I usually have great respect for the workers… not with this company! We’ve had this trash company since we first moved here. AWFUL. I have on video the workers are literally screaming and cussing in the early morning hours.. waking up the entire neighborhood…they also completely ignored our trash cans and picked up our neighbors. I have an email that claimed they were having issues on their end with ACH payments. If that was the reason our trash was not taken that’s ridiculous.. not our fault your system does not work. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
First time home owner. My old development had these guys and they didn't do a bad job. I constantly had cats digging in garbage(or so I thought). Was out on my porch i guess they didn't see me. Saw this guy literally take the neighbors trash, then come over to mine and whacked the can over, garbage everywhere. Yes, I have kids. Yes, it's alot of trash but I'm PAYING for the service. It's not like I'm asking a favor. I'm expecting the driver to come back later and clean up the mess he made. If he doesn't i will be contacting his boss in the morning. If the mess is cleaned i will gladly take this review down. I'm aware it's not a great job, but that's the profession YOU chose.
This company has absolutely no regard for other people's stuff! Not only did I have one of their trucks steal from my back yard, but they also keep driving into my yard and destroying it! If you value your property, find a different company because they will steal or destroy your things without a hesitation!
I have had their service for years but over the past 2 years, it's a hit or miss. They have not picked up my trash and recycle multiple times this year. Canceling and will not be paying for the service.
Not sure why they even have a phone number because nobody answers it. Connor one of the managers will Slydial you so his message goes to your voicemail and your phone never rings. Then he won’t pick up the phone. Awful business and customer service.
This is the 4th or 5th time in the last six weeks that our trash hasn’t been picked up. With each phone call to the office, they state there are no billing issues and will send someone around today or the next to pick up. They also say they will pass on the information to the area manager. This week was a day later due to the holiday, but they’ve already come thru the block and picked up the neighbors trash. The office said someone will come back for it. Horrible service since Weidle’s was sold to Good’s.
We have been using Welles for 6 years. They have done great service for us. They take our recyclables every 2 weeks and regular trash every week. They have made a few mistakes, but when I’ve called in and asked about them, they have always made them right. They come to our area about 5-6 AM.
It's 3:42am and Weidle's truck comes through our neighborhood to wake every soul. We've repeatedly asked this company to alter their pickup schedule; that there is a noise ordinance they're breaking; or to - at a minimum - wait until 6am; all without response or results from the company. Phone calls, letters, emails have not changed their nightly haunts. Even our HOA contacted the company on behalf of the members, but Weidle didn't respond. The best results have been encouraging our fellow neighbors to switch garbage service to minimize Weidle trucks' nightly runs.
Update: 11/12/18 - A new record set! At 2:38AM Weidle came banging through the neighborhood.
Update: 8/19/19. It's 2:17AM. A new Weidle record. Will they ever fix the screeching brakes on their vehicles? FYI, it's a myth that Weidle trucks are off the road before the AM commute; they're not.
Update: 7/6/21: It's 11:30pm and Weidle Sanitation is here, only proving they'll come any hour of the night to your home; and you're paying for this service.
Update: 9/19/22: 2:54AM. During the pandemic Weidle came through at a reasonable 6:30AM. Hallelujah! I thought it would last and so did some of my neighbors. We were wrong
Moderator: Yes, I've used this service for over a year. And yes, I canceled it due to poor customer service and lack of response to customer complaints.
Had service with Weidle for many years till 2020. Switched because of pickup location issue with them. They refused to pick up behind our home where all other services were picking up. Went to Waste In Time, had great service with them. Then, this past summer of '23, Waste In Time sold our location/route to Weidle. Trash pickup was fine. They picked up out back like other services did - 5 stars for that. 1-star because the entire quarter we had them, they never picked up recycles a single time the entire 3 months. We had to complain every time for someone to come out. They are difficult to get ahold of, but if you do we had a pleasant converse with them. All said, the difficulty in having Weidle pick up where all other services pick up, along with reliability issues, warrant a 2-Star rating.
I have never used theis service however, I had an experience with one of their drivers. It is the driver who does the Richland/Newmanstown area on a Friday morning.
My husband puts our trash out on a Thursday evening. He was at work Friday morning and I had some additional items I wanted to dispose of before our driver picked up our trash.
Due to back and knee problems I walk with a cane and still struggle to walk. Your driver again, (THIS IS NOT OUR DISPOSAL COMPANY) was so kind. He saw me struggling to get the trash out to the end of our driveway. He stopped his truck and came and took the bag from me and, placed it with the rest of our trash. He was so kind to offer to do this especially, since we use another disposal company.
We are happy with our service however, if that changes I would call this company. I want to thank that driver once again. This world would be a much better place if, there were more kind people like this man. I did not get his name but, I do want to thank him and, let his employer know, how kind he was to a total stranger. Your kindness really meant a lot to me.
Our community of townhouses recently switched to Weidle. I am extremely pleased with everything. They come in the early morning every week. Same time every week.
They also return the garbage cans to the curb of the individual houses. Line them up.
This is a HUGE improvement from the previous company. Couldn’t be happier.
I am a homeowner and I have this company for more than 1 year they are the worst company around. I have to call them all the time because they don’t pick up my trash and when they do they leave half of the trash cans with trash or the street full of trash. The cost is not worth the price! I call them make a complaint and they seem to not care today I called them and the customer rep (Becky) that answer the call she was being sarcastic to me and she did not put effort to helping me with my complaint. She said Glen ( drivers supervisors)is the one that has to addressed this. They are quick to send a bill out but not care how you are being treated or what quality of services you are getting. I will like to know if the owner is aware of this situation. I am lookin forward on getting a new company around. I will like a call back from the office manager as soon as possible!
HR appears to be doing a better job of vetting quality professionals and the operations staff seem to be getting better all the time. Costs are skyrocketing for vehicle fleets and operations. Business appears to be functioning better. One of the drivers rescued two kittens that somebody had thrown in the garbage.
It's a tough world out here and there are many dirty jobs - these folks do one of the big ones.
Great service at a good price! I put my trash out and it's gone the next morning. I've been using Weidle for years. On the rare occurrence that my trash gets missed, they are quick to correct the error. Update: still great service! haven't missed a pickup since we moved to our new home
Used to be great, but the past year or so I have to call every week for them to come pick up as others have mentioned. Same problem Lebanon Farms Disposal had after they were bought out. Does anyone know of a good trash company, that actually comes and picks up your trash?
Horrendous service the last few months. I'm not sure what happened to this place but prior to this year, I've had little issue with trash or recycling pick up. I have called a half a dozen times the past 2 weeks and still have not received a reply to my call or emails. Trash has not been picked up at all for over 2 months now. I've had to take and dump it myself which is ridiculous, however the lack of communication or care to resolve an issue with a customer of 10 years (me) is the last straw.
I have had nothing but very positive results from this company. In fact, this morning I left a message with them before they opened stating that I forgot to put my trash and recyclables out due to something going on, completely my fault. They responded immediately when they opened and told me they would have somebody swing by the next day to get my trash. If that's not great customer service, I don't know what is.
Had such a horrible experience. Every bill cycle I had to call multiple times a day, for a couple days straight. Left detailed messages. Wasn’t able to pay my bill online. Bills would get sent out late. My recycling was never picked up since I started with them. When I got ahold of someone the lady in the office was extremely unprofessional, talking over me, told me they are short staffed. Understandable as everywhere is, however I was being talked down upon. Canceled my services immediately due to the lady on the phone.
From my experience I could tell you guys never had a problem or a missed pick up. I only had one issue I call and it was taken care of write away. And I’ve been with this company 4 along time. I definitely will recommend to anyone.
Have used this company faithfully for 33 years. Yes they might have missed me a couple times since then. Snow or new driver usually the cause. But lately I have been seeing neighbors trash not being picked up for weeks! They all asked me who I use. Will continue to use them because they are a local company.
We have had Weidle Sanitation for may years for our 3 properties. Within the last 6 months service has drastically gone downhill. They are taking on too many clients, do not have enough drivers or trucks or office staff. The office staff is rude. They do not return phone calls for days. They have repeatedly missed trash pick ups. Current customers should be receiving good service before taking on new customers. It has come to the point we have had to drop them and find another service outside the local area.
I had Weidle for over 8 years with no issues, but then when I moved across town, they haven't picked up my trash for three weeks. I've talked to their staff numerous times about trying to resolve the issue, and was told it would be fixed, but unfortunately after 8 years I will have to change over to a more reliable company. Wish I could give a better rating...
I've had Weidle for years and had no problem but the last time I needed to depend on them they really disappointed me to no end. I moved to another state and paid extra on my bill to make sure they were able to pick up all that was in for pick up and since I pay online I would have paid extra if they needed me to. When I got to my state of living, my friend informed me that 5 large bags of trash were still sitting at my garage. I called them and they "said" they would pick it up. The following week my realtor who is selling our house says its still there. Then I get a bill for something I did not put out for them to pick up but even if I were to pay the "bill" I still had extra left. So now my trash is not picked up and they have my money. How horrible it is to depend on your long term trash service when you needed them to be honest and dependable the most, to disappoint you at the most important moment. Are they that selfish or sneaky to only pick up when your in the state but when you leave they assume you wont know and take your money with no service????? very sad. Our friend had to pick up the trash since they will not return my calls or pick up what i paid for. Very sad and very disappointing. Not dependable, Not professional. I would not recommend such a juvenile service.
Weidle people are kind and courteous whenever we have an issue, and they always have accommodated us with any adjustments we have needed. The early hours are actually good so we don't have garbage hanging out all day smelling up the street. The problems we've experienced come from, either tenants who are just lazy and don't follow the rules or people who dump around the trash causing us more expenses. Actually, Weidle was kind enough to credit us for some of that. They are a good company.
We had them for years. We found Waste Management to be a much better price. The main thing we hate about Weidle is they come through the development between 3am and 6am. They wake me up every week and I can't stand it. I get little sleep with working two jobs and this really kills me. I can't get back to sleep and it ruins me for the day. I know many services that would never think of coming through before 7 or 8 oclock. Not sure why the trash industry thinks they are different and shouldn't be courteous.
