My husband and I needed our truck worked on, so we called trims and he said he was about 4-6 weeks out but we could drop it off early and if he had time he would get to it. Truthfully we thought he was offering that so he could keep the business and the 4-6 weeks wasn't a problem for us so no biggie.
It had been 6 weeks and we hadn't heard anything so my husband called for an update. He said he was a little busy but would get to it. 8 weeks later still nothing he called again. Same nonsense. It came to 10 weeks and my husband showed up to talk to him about what's going on he said he will work on the estimate asap. My husband told him at this point he doesn't know if he even wants the work done but he will call him before the end of the day and let him know.
My husband called him that night to let him know that he no longer wants the work done and that he is going to give the truck back to his dad, trims told him that we owe them 500+ dollars for the estimate, clean up, and storage fees. These were never discussed before hand, he was just mad because we decided not to go through him anymore. 10 freaking weeks! Insane. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone ever.
I took my 2004 F150 here for a coolant leak it was leaking out of the head of the gasket and there was a pinhole in one of the metal pipes it was leaking from it went there to get a coolant leak fixed and I picked the truck up and it’s $5395 Replace stuff that didn’t need replaced Or didn’t even ask to replace stuff that didn’t need replaced just did it anyways Before I took the truck there, I didn’t have a check engine light on when I picked it up. It ran rough. It was stalling out and the check engine light was on. I took it back. He replaced something else and wants another 1300 dollars And the check engine light is still on, and the truck still runs rough and it was never like that before I took it there I don’t recommend this place at all I originally took it to him because I thought it was the transmission and my mechanic didn’t have time to do transmission work So I took it to him come to find out it wasn’t the transmission and and then I talked to my mechanic. I always take my cars too and told him about this and he told me he could’ve did it for half that price. It’s ridiculous. Don’t recommend this place at all. I originally took it there because I thought it was something to do with the transmission and my regular mechanic didn’t have time to do transmission work but after I told him all about this, he told me he could’ve did it for half that price. It’s ridiculous.
I have a Chevy Cruze diesel that needed a timing belt replacement. I just could not find any garage that would do it. Some garages even claimed they never heard of a Chevy cruze diesel.
Not Trim's. I contacted them, and they knew about the car. So had them do the replacement. They did the job in one day. Which I was surprised how fast they were. They had to also replace a thermostat and repair a turn signal wires.
Now car works like it was new. Thank you Trim's for the awesome job done!!
Called looking for flywheel bolts for an LS motor, Bob took down my name and number and said he needed to check if he has them in stock, been 2 weeks now and never got a call back. I would recommend getting parts and machine work done elsewhere
This is the worst place in the area!!!
They try every scam to take your money, Then say it's illegal for u take your car unless it's fixed. Unreal!

I looked around a lot for a shop to pressure test and remove some dents on a supercharger upper intake manifold and couldn’t find anyone to do either.
Took a shot with Trim’s because I had no experience with them.
I couldn’t be happier with the work and the price. The dents got rolled out nicely and they were able to pressure test it. They also touched up the threads on the AN fittings. All within less than a week.
The price was really good, I even had friends comment on the work and the price.
Trim’s will get future business from me because it’s hard to find shops to do specialized work and my experience so far has been great.
Tried to ask a couple questions like getting a job and how they pay or fixing a car but couldn’t get anything out when I got hung up on three times and cussed out when I was just trying to see if someone no longer worked there before I came by with my car but I’ll take my money else where with better service.
Bob is a giant ****. He will give you a time and an estimate. String you along for weeks after and then charge you twice the amount and storage fees. You can do better than a guy named bob.
This place is great the owner so great individual I forgot his name but I spoke to him personally he made sure everything was done as needed to be done everything worked perfectly
A breath of fresh with the friendliness of trims. Bob explained everything to you beforehand. I highly recommend them for the way they treat you as a customer and quality of work.
This review is long overdue, but I still need to write it anyhow. Trim's Automotive is phenomenal! I went there, looking to have my cylinder head resurfaced, I know a little bit about engines, not a lot but enough, I was explained the condition of my cylinder head including the condition of the valve seats, I was given all the details of the true condition of my cylinder head and they had gone out of their way to show me the results of the tests as they were performing them, they had many great recommendations, their pricing is not bad considering the great quality service you get, they are very helpful and offer such great detailed information, even for the people who just wanna do it themselves they don't mind helping. You can tell they truly love what they do, and they care about the people who walk through their doors. Awesome place to go! I've never been to another place like it.
Over the top customer service. I had a leveling kit that I wanted installed on my Silverado. When the OWNER called to give me a quote he gave me a heads up that if there were any issues it may cost a bit more...most of the time mechanics just throw it on the bill hoping you wont notice...he told me ahead of time. Those ethics are so rare nowadays!! Cost efficient pricing and really great customer service when picking ip..I dont have a regular mechanic, but I'll be making this my spot!
Took my jet ski cylinders here to get bored over for bigger pistons and ported on the exhaust. He was unsure of how far he could go on the ports until he looked back through his file's. Had gotten a phone call later that night, said he could do pretty extensive port work and talked about my budget that I had. Next afternoon he called again and said they were done. Very professional and honest with what he tells you. Will definitely be going back to him for jet ski work as I plan to build a big motor
The mechanics and owners are fantastic! They are very personable and make you feel comfortable if you are waiting for your car. They don’t charge you for unnecessary things and always put the customer first always. I love that they are open later so I can get my car inspected after work. They are fast and efficient. This is the best repair shop I have ever been to and it deserves more than 5 stars!
Trims always makes my time and trips to the shop quick and easy if they don’t have it at the shop they order it and tell me when and what time it’ll be there that’s why I keep going back and prices aren’t bad either
Less than 2 years ago I took my 2003 Honda Accord for head work. Spent over 3,500.00 in repairs didn't last 1 year same exhaust valve is leaking again. So disappointed in the cost and quality of repairs that the cars is not running. I was told that the warranty was only good for 90 days.
I had the pleasure to deal with Bob at Trim’s on two occasions. I highly recommend you give Trim’s a try - you won’t be disappointed. Extremely personable, highly professional, HONEST, and top notch work...you can’t ask for anything more from a local business owner.
These guys don't mess around. They only know one way and that's the write way. Got work done on my valve cover, Needed to weld timing chain guide holder back on. When I saw it in person, it looked OEM, very clean job. Thanks again guys.
Let's face it. No one ever wants to dish out money to fix their car, whether it's $20 or $2000. As much as I hate paying to have my car worked on, I wouldn't go to anywhere else. I'd highly recommend Trim's to anyone! Very fair, very honest. They always work with my hectic schedule and they keep MY safety and my wallet in mind when looking at repairing my car. Wonderful shop, wonderful guys, great environment. If I could rate them more than a 5 star review I definitely would.
Great speed shop, vast experience, everything needed under roof. Bob and Zach are very humble. Helped us through on online nightmare. Went the extra mile. We rewarded them with the rest of the build. Wish I'd found them sooner.
