They are very good people to work with sometimes it takes a little time to fit you in but that just shows how many people take their vehicles to them because their service and prices are good I've been taking my vehicle to them for years now and I'm very happy with their service thanks guys keep the good work up
Always a pleasure dealing with the crew at Zimmey's. We take many of our fleet trucks there for service, as well as our personal vehicles. Service is prompt, priced right and most importantly the work is done correctly every time. Shout out to Nathaniel who picked up my truck when I broke down near a busy intersection in Lancaster. His positive attitude helped turn a bad situation into a good one. Will continue to use Zimmey's for all our vehicle needs.
My son was in a horrific auto accident and they took his demolished car to their facility. I needed things out of his car and was trying to find out anything I could since my son was life lined to Penn State Hershey unconscious . They were very helpful and courteous. Thanks Denny and crew!

Zimmy's came to my accident to tow my car n the 2 guys that showed up was really nice n cleaned up the road from out broken glass n our broken rear tail lights n our front driver head lights n parts from the tire we'll n trimming. The guys gave us there card n told me if I had any questions to give them a call. I went out to release my car n the gentleman inside was so nice n helpful. Will use them again for towing.

My experience with Zimmey was fantastic, I had to call multiple times for questions and every time he was very helpful and patient, despite the many, many phone calls. My daughter and her child were visiting Hershey Park for the week. It was my grand-babies third birthday. While traveling thru Palmyra, PA; she was pulled over for an unregistered car, and other things. The police officer was helpful and recommended she call Zimmey's Towing that they are reasonably priced, and they are. Now, 2-3 weeks later Zimmey's has fixed my daughter's car, and made it legal to drive on the road, with a passing inspection. I'm so thankful to them for assisting us in a timely, urgent manner. They did several things on the car from replacing doors, tires, etc. ALL at a very low cost. Thank you.
These are the kind of people that would make the world an actually good place if everyone was like them. We were on our way to Knoebel's for our big annual camping trip and literally broke down on the side of the road about half a mile from their shop with a dead alternator. We were able to putter along and find their shop quite by accident with a few consecutive jumps and they diagnosed the issue on a moment's notice. I had a friend with me who ran to Autozone and picked us up a new alternator, and Steve (who diagnosed it) came out and dropped the new one in in about 30 minutes basically at closing time on a Friday afternoon. Super friendly people here. Denny in the office was great, too. Very helpful. They were a huge blessing, helping us out with a smaller crew than normal, too. I can't say enough good things! I would come back here for all my car stuff if I was closer to them. Thanks for helping us out!
I've been going to Zimmeys for over 16 years and Won't go anywhere else. They are a very honest, professional and pay attention to detail workmanship. I have a 6.0 diesel and as you may know it's very hard to find good diesel mechanics. Zimmeys is the finest business that I've found in my travels nationwide.
I live in Tennessee. I drove my diesel pick up truck to PA on vacation when 2 of the injectors went bad. After a year of run around with other mechanics, I reached out to Denny and explained my situation. Within 2 hours of the phone call, my truck was picked up and taken to their shop. Not only were they able to salvage the head on her, they ended up replacing all of the injectors because of a fuel knock. The truck runs better now than it ever did, and I was extremely happy with the bill and service. Denny was in contact with me thru everything that was going on, and not being left in the dark means everything to me, especially when I live a thousand miles away. I will recommend Zimmey's to everyone. Thank you guys for doing an awesome job.
They just fixed my 2010 Honda pilot. Bill came back at $295 instead of the $800 plus like I was expecting! Plus they came and gave me a courtesy ride back to the shop to pick it up when completed! Would definitely recommend!! Thanks a lot Zimmies!

I've been doing business with Zimmeys for 24 years and counting. They are the only mechanics that i allow to work on my vehicles. Never had a problem with over billing or misdiagnosis. If it isn't broke they don't fix it unlike dealers have been known to do. There is a reason that you need to call 3-4 weeks in advance for inspections because they are that well known and that good. If your vehicle breaks down they usually have it fixed within a day to a couple days depending on the problem.
Years ago they did great work on my 97 F-250. Last week I had a vehicle impounded there from Good Friday until the following Tuesday. They only charged me $135. That was straight up amazing.
A similar situation elsewhere cost me nearly $600 for a 1/4 mile tow and I picked it up the same day!

Absolutely amazing experience with towing and repair. My brother in law broke down on Christmas night and needed an tow and multiple repairs due to negligence of a ford dealership. From the tow truck driver to the people I dealt with in the repair shop they communicate with me every step of the way and provided cost effective options and extremely well priced repairs. Hands down would use them again.
I have been bringing my family's cars here for years and they have been honest and fair in the repairs they have performed. I have referred others here because of that fact. It is a distance away from my home, but an auto repair business that is honest to its core, is worth the extra time and effort to get there.
I've been to Zimmey's couple times now for heavy work on my 1999 Dodge diesel dually they have always done a great job last repair was the steering was wandering around and hard to turn they troubleshot and only fixed the issues that were the problem they have always done a great job thanks again Denny. It has been a couple months since the repair and I have put over 2500 miles on truck since the repair. Truck is running great. Please let your mechanic know.

My truck coded out for transmission issues. All other shops in the area either didn't pick up phone, or just couldn't fit it in. Called Zimmeys they were not only able to diagnose the problem but also were able to fit the repair in. Highly recommend them. If there was more than 5 stars to give them I would.

I had an oil leak on a 2003 Ford F-350 7.3L as well as a carrier bearing which needed replaced.
Several garages told me the leak was coming from the rear main seal which would be an extensive job and very costly. The mechanics at Zimmey’s diagnosed the problem and found it to be the seals for the high pressure oil pump.
This issue, as well as the carrier bearing were repaired which only cost me $312.00
The office staff and mechanics are absolute TOP SHELF!!!!!

My 2012 6.7 f250 with 256,000miles started giving me cyl5 injector codes and back pressure in intake. The earliest they could promise getting me in was sept 6. Great service is worth waiting for. I left the truck with them aug 12 just incase they found time. They already called to let me know they ran a bunch of tests, pulled the glow plug to make sure it was not damaged by something internally broken. They advised me that if I want to move forward they have to pull the cab and take the head off now to figure out what is going on. It is Aug 18th as of this post. The fact that I may be with a fixed truck even before the scheduled appt is awesome! Not expecting it but who knows!! To be able to pull my rv by the 25th. would salvage our last little planned vacation.
I trust they will do what is needed and not just throw parts at it. I hope to get another 200k post repairs. Will update with the end result!!
After being a victim of a careless driver, Dale and Denny arrived to assist us with a tow off of the scene. They were exceptional with their care of our vehicle and with our family as we were traumatized by the event. I could not praise them more for how well they handled the scene and were kind and supportive of all of the victims on that afternoon. I highly recommend their services.

Have always been happy with the service and price at Zimmey's. They know their way around diesel trucks, have mechanics dedicated to specific brands, honest and trustworthy folks. They are usually very busy which can make it difficult to get an appointment in a timely manner though.
Their website could use a bit of polishing on its functionality, parts prices are on the average to high side.
