I have always appreciated the service given by WM in the past. But recently I needed to cancel my service and leave a forwarding address. It was near impossible! After several attempts, I reached a live person and was told she could give me no info on the account and wouldn’t even take my new address so I could pay the final bill. The account was under my deceased husband’s name. I did finally figure out how to do it on my own and got my final bill! Customer service? Hard to do when one’s only interaction is with computers.
it’s so ridiculous how much the price fluctuates, every time i come here my trailer or van is filled to the exact same amount with the same type of material yet every time i go the price changes, it makes no sense. the only excuse they say when asked about this is issue is “that over there is 2 yards” like im not asking you how much two yards is im asking why the price varies by so much day to day when its not like my rig is magically getting any bigger. ask anyone who comes here regularly they will also tell you about this issue.
The staff was friendly. Very helpful. Fair pricing. I usually go on the weekend knowing that I will need to wait in line. This time I came on a Monday and got in quick.
The guys are really nice, I forgot to get my trash out one morning and they waited for me to drag it to the curb. They could have left but they cared enough to wait. I appreciate that!
Great service. My only complaint is when pickup doesn’t happen due to weather threat for freezing temperatures regardless of actual road conditions up here where we live.
I love this service the drivers are friendly and kind all the staff is kind as well. Cheap prices I would recommend this service WM does a really good job. Keep up the awesome work?
The transfer station in Newberg is generally bad, the wait times are ridiculous most times and the fee is inconsistant depending on who is at the gate.....I cannot believe they cannot have a better system than this to move it along...Newberg garbage when they owned it was way way better.....
I just realized I've been charged for a glass recycling bin and I never ordered one. I don't have room for one. I moved to Oregon in late March. Is there any way I can be refunded? I've been trying to reach you by phone but it is impossible. HELP please.
It's not like we have a choice for that pickup. It's established by the city. I think they allow the drivers unions to determine policies. They decide what can and can't be recycled and they don't allow many things. So don't think they are environmental in their concerns.
They are always on time for weekly pick-up at my residence. I only wish they could go back to accepting styrofoam. No place local accepts it anymore. I know packaging is changing nationally but I still have some in my attic.
About once a year they decide we no longer need our bins and pick them up. We call and they tell us they'll drop new ones off next week. The next week rolls around and nothing. We call again and they say there was never a ticket put in and how sorry they are. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN THE BINS IN THE FIRST PLACE. We can't really do anything about it because they're the only waste company in town!! Complete incompetence. Furious that I pay for this service.
Waste management has picked up my trash one time since service has started but picks up my neighbors trash that is right next to it. Then they want me to pay for the service because the driver states there is "inclement weather". I feel like I am being pranked.
I’ve tried calling three times in the last week only to be transferred from one human to the next until I’m discontinued. Or told temporary dumpsters don’t exist. All I want is to rent a temporary dumpster . I know they have them, why can’t I reach the right person. Please bring back a local office I can go in. I drove to the transfer station and didn’t see a business office. Spent more time chasing this down than I did picking out new windows and flooring. Not sure what I’ll do. I give up.
There is no real people that you can get on the phone with for managing residential services. I have been unable to shut down service, so that my tenant can start their service. Long wait times on the phone, and if you request a callback, there still may not be a person on the other end of the phone
I just want to know how much the transfer station charges per tire but when I call, it asks for my service address & I can’t get further. I don’t have service with them but it won’t let me skip it.
I just need the cost to drop off the tires.
Nice and quick service! Located really conveniently and the lines are nice and quick too.
The place is basically a huge 3 sided barn that they shove stuff up to the wall, so it can get kinda stinky during the hot days.
I would give zero stars if I could. We have used Waste Management for 6 years with no real issues as we haven’t had really any needs outside standard garbage. We’re in the process of moving and needed a dumpster. When you call it says you can order online. We tried the website, the app, their chat feature, and emailing. All of those options told us we needed to call. We called over 6 times and sat on hold for anywhere between 30-90 minutes. We got to a person twice who immediately transferred us saying it wasn’t her department and we sat on hold again before being disconnected. I reached out to others for help and was told that waste management has the reputation in this community of essentially being no help with no customer service. I finally gave up trying to get a dumpster with Waste Management. It should not be this difficult to give a company our money. Also when we were on hold and listened to their audio, we were told on repeat that we could do all these services online to make it easy. Not true. Please don’t advertise things you can’t hold up your end on.
I've been trying to get this location on the phone for 3 days. If you call the number provided you will wait on hold for 45-60 minutes and then you'll finally get someone from California on the phone. Then they will have to transfer your call to this location and you'll be on hold for an additional 45+ minutes. 3 days I've tried and was never able to talk to anyone from this location. I've spent hours trying to ask one simple 'yes or no' question and now I have to take time away from my work day to drive down and ask a question that only takes 10 seconds to answer.
This place is terrible for dropping off trash. You will wait in line for over an hour. They are extremely slow compared to other dumps I have been to in the area. The lady that works here is painfully slow. The traffic gets so backed up it spills into the main road. Also, once you’re in line you can’t leave.
We’ve been bringing a lot of stuff here recently and the only time that it’s been a headache is when the lady is working. She very particular about everything and the line takes about an hour + .
Their service is spotty. We've paid for weekly service for years and they've often just not picked up the garbage. When I complain, they offer to make a special trip to pick it up, but they NEVER do it. Calling their number just goes to an automated assistant, which can't help, of course. So, I'm limited to only chatting with them online. Their reps will ONLY offer to send out a truck on a special run, but those are empty promises. They WILL NOT DO IT. So, I asked them to refund me for the weeks that they didn't provide the service and they refuse. Why do I have to fight them to provide the service I'm paying for? Why do I have to fight them to provide decent customer service?
