This is poor unknowledged parts store, I've been sold numerous times the wrong part its very discouraging to have attempted to get parts here when I should've just driven the extra few blocks to go to Napa, the staff have no idea what there are selling please help your employees to help your business with proper training.

O'Reilly's in Tillamook saved our bacon! We came over to the coast for a quick weekend get away to see the King Tides. We were staying at a home in Rockaway Beach, arrived Fri, went down south to Depoe Bay Sat and did a little crabbing on the way home. Our youngest started not feeling well and we forgot to pack kids medicine. So, I asked my husband to run to the store and grab some. He came home and told me the "Service Battery Charging System" warning light had come on in the truck. After researching (Thanks, Google!) he said that it could be an issue with the batteries, the alternator or a sensor. Leaving the next morning, we loaded 3 dogs (1 being a very large English Mastiff), 2 kids and the 2 of us in the truck, praying that we'd at least make it to Tillamook, about 13 miles away. At first the battery gauge was looking like it might be OK, the battery levels increased. However, they soon began to plummet. We approached the turn signal (a solid red with a green light for oncoming traffic) and alarms started going off in the truck as power was being lost. I told my hubby to just GO if the coast was clear. He "floored it" and it slowly creeped along. He told me, this is all it's got! My husband went inside and met a young man by the name of Chance. Chance came out, told us to shut off the truck, and checked both batteries (yes, the truck has 2.) Well they both failed. He was then going to check the alternator, but we couldn't get the truck to even turn over. He attempted to jump the batteries but no go. We opted to change both batteries (they were old) and give it a go. O'Reilly's lent all tools out right there and within a time, my hubby had those changed out. He went to tell Chance, who came back out. We turned the key and the truck fired right up! Chance then was connecting the alternator indicator and suddenly inside there was a horrible smell. I opened the door to let them know and Chance said the alternator was toast too. THANK GOD they had one in stock. Again, my hubby tore into that project, with lent tools. Chance came out to check in a couple of times and make sure he was doing ok. Got it all changed out and it fired up, he tested the alternator again (the new one) and we were in business. To say I'm grateful for Chance and O'Reilly's being open on a Sunday is definitely putting it mildly. I was trying to figure out how to get ALL of us back home, about 4 hrs away. There are no rental car companies. The U-Haul place wasn't an option, we would have been stranded and that is just a horrible feeling. I hope Chance gets the chance (no pun intended) to read this. You, my young friend, were a true hero here. Checking in on us, being friendly and helpful... I'm not a religious person, but darn it, God Bless you.

I never get let down with O’Reilly! Willam is the hero of the O’Reilly Tillamook, Oregon. He deserves to be mentioned in my review. I ordered shocks 4 days ahead for my motorhome, while I was traveling around the states, so I can get them when I arrive to the town. For some reason the box was different from what I ordered and I was so disappointed to return my order, but Willam caught up with me in my car by the store to let me know that he checked inside the box to find it’s the right item. He did everything to help me find the correct tools that I needed to install the shocks. Thank you Willam for your professional work. I hope this review can find its way to the owners or management to thank them for hiring people like William ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very knowledgeable, and friendly crew! They have never hesitated to offer me help, and have, honestly, seemed to enjoyed helping my find my parts and/or help me solve any problems I'm having my my trucks. The reason they, this being O'Reilly as a whole, lost a star is because 3 times that I've ordered parts, I've gotten used, damaged return parts. This wasn't the stores fault at all, and they took the returns back without question. This is the warehouse in Portland. So if you order parts, try and check them in the store. But know that the staff will gladly help you sort any mistakes made and they will take care of you.

Customer service is great. Yet they don't stock much of anything. I have come here for belts, an alternator, a pigtail, and a turn signal bulb. They didn't have any of them. It's always we can order it....

Very helpful. They checked my alternator and saw that I needed a new one. Charged my battery so I at least could get home.

Vicki is amazing. Customer service always on point, accurate and she is always willing to find just the right parts even if I don't have the right descriptions. Its the ONLY place I go, if I have the choice.

They never have the part i need and when i have a pickup order its still not ready for pickup when they said it would be got told to wait 3 hours still nothing. Either you guys get the part today or not but they keep horsing around be nice to not wait all day on a part if it is not coming! Update finally got it was just later in the day.

Nice staff, do what they can to help and normally have what I need in stock. If it's not in stock it will be there by the next morning. Change brake pads and rotors today and I knew they would have what I needed, didn't even bother calling a head.

Super helpful staff, and I am forever grateful to Khris the manager who assisted me last week with replacing an alternator in my van after it lost all power and died on the side of the road near his store. My whole family was in the van and we were gonna be stuck in Tillamook unless we could get it fixed. He came out of the store on his own time to help me install it! Once completed all was good once he ran it on the tester and we were on our way. He and his staff really care about their customers and they definitely are worthy of a 5 rating!!

Amazing amazing staff. I can not say enough about this place. We were on our way to Lincoln City Oregon for spring break vacation with out young sons on a Sunday our alternator went out in the pouring rain. Victoria was so understanding and helpful getting us the right parts as I was very upset by this unexpected happening. I wish I could remember the gentlemans name that was working with her. They both went out of the way to help us. Thankfully my husband's a mechanic and brought tools. They let us use the parking lot to change it and we were on our way in less then an hour. Thank you so much for all your help.

I love that they price match. And always willing to help. However I have been steered wrong a few times when trying to get transmission fluid, or clutch fluid. They have recommended me completely wrong fluids and sold them to me as well, if I wouldn't have checked with my mechanic I would have cause some serious damage to my car! But at the same time they've noticed mistakes on my receipts after I've lefter and called me up to let me so know next time I'm in they'll fix it or refund me! So that's a very nice upside!
