The new owners have rejuvenated the Trading Post. It's a great asset to those living on or visiting Crooked River Ranch.

We’ve been ordering pizza from Trading Post for the last couple of months and we are beyond impressed with the quality, taste, and consistency.
We order pizza every couple of weeks for convenience, and it felt like it was time to finally leave a review. The quality is amazing — they load the toppings perfectly and never cut corners or skimp. Every pizza has been consistent, fresh, and full of flavor.
I haven’t been able to find a pizza place I truly love in Central Oregon (Redmond–Terrebonne area), but this place absolutely keeps us coming back. The prices are very reasonable, and not having to drive all the way into town is a huge bonus.
Last time I ordered, I added the 12-piece hot buffalo wings, and they were cooked to perfection. It’s safe to say they’ll be added to every order from now on.
Highly recommend!Feb 24, 2026 -
After a ridiculously long weekend, I opted for convenience and ordered a 12" Canadian bacon/black olive pizza. I showed up, pulled out a $20, assuming it would be under that. NOPE. I had added a chick-o-stick to my order (remember how I said it was a long weekend? No judging, sometimes only an orange bar of processed sugary heaven will take the edge off). The young lady gave me my total, $26 and some change. Either I've just purchased the world's most expensive chick-o-stick, or pizza prices have skyrocketed. I'm not trying to be cheap, though it probably seems like it. It just absolutely shocked me. I mean, a 12" pizza is on the small side. So, I asked how much the pizza was. The cheery young lady taps the box and says, "This one is $24.99" (she truly was cheery and super friendly).
I have apparently ordered the fancy, pricey pizza.
Out of curiosity, after I got home, I checked the prices on the little menu I picked up. I'm not positive how my 12" Canadian bacon and black olive pizza came to just about $25, when I could have ordered a bigger pizza with a bunch of toppings for what I paid for my small pizza with 2 toppings.
I'm truly not trying to be cheap, I have no issue paying for what I want. I just think that maybe my pizza wasn't really all that fancy, that instead, maybe the pricing isn't adding up. After having a piece of my Gucci dinner, I'd have been a bit more comfortable with the price I feel the pizza should have been (12" Hawaiian = $15.99- with one change - I wanted them keep the pineapple and replace with olives). $15.99- I'd be game to order again, but weighing convenience with price=product- nope.
Still, I appreciated the friendly serviceSep 01, 2025 -
Slightly over priced but I still got there for my needs when I forget something in town. They have a little bit of everything and very helpful about ordering something. They are open great hours and I appreciate them being there.

I have had time to assess the Trading Post after it changed ownership several months back & the new owners have shown a dedication to not only making it a viable business venture, they are actively improving the store, developing a much needed R.V Park adjacent to the Trading Post, & making positive changes.
The Deli hours are now convenient, with other small yet significant additions such as fresh, in-house donuts & pastries, in-house roasted whole bean or ground coffee along with wines & other extras that give more choices to customers.²
I have to give the new ownership high praise for the way the
Trading Post has improved.
The employees are more relaxed & the atmosphere is rather pleasant, which is a vast improvement from the previous ownership.
Though the prices are high, one must realize the logistical challenges, extra costs, & remote location of the Trading Post.
I have to say the Crooked River Ranch is fortunate to have the new owners, the service, the food etc is very good & so I highly recommend others to drop by the Trading Post on Crooked River Ranch near Terrebonne Oregon.May 12, 2024 -
Nice little convenience store, hot and cold deli, clean bathroom. Ice, propane, ATM. Large gravel parking lot to side for larger vehicles.

Love this place. Very friendly staff. Always a pleasure to visit. Prices are a little high but it is 15 mins to nearest store from there. Lunch at deli is like a home made sandwich from mom. I’m thankful this store is so close to home.

You pay for convenience but the food in the deli, sandwiches, pizza are pretty good. Also they have ethanol free premium pump gas for toys and motorcycles, lawn equipment which isn't supposed to get ethanol.

Ordered a pizza and it was the BEST pizza we have ever had it's going to be the only place we get our pizza's from now on plus it's right here on the Ranch where we live.

Very good pizza, we bought a 14 inch pizza for 2 and had plenty for leftovers.
And our tummies are full.Sep 13, 2023 -
I come here quite a bit and so far the older lady is the only one that's been rude for no reason. She doesn't say hi, doesn't say the total, doesn't ask me to sign, and doesn't say have a nice day, barely says a few words to me, tosses my card on the counter behind my drinks instead of handing it to me. If she's on the register there's a good chance I'm gonna turn around and leave if I have another interaction like that with her.

Great, clean little store with quite a bit of items you need/want. I think they even had a little hot food deli/counter type area.
Sells gas, diesel, and propane.
Conveniently just down the road from a few of the RV Parks.Aug 13, 2023 -
The new owners are a breath of fresh air, & they have a vision, it seems, to make the Trading Post more than just a country store, with an R.V. Park connected to it & what else is a mystery for now.
The Deli is now open daily & features the previous options plus more added to it. There are other additions products to the store such as freshly Roasted Whole bean ĥ & ground coffee, fresh donuts made in house, a nice wine section & the overall makeup of the store is much more inviting with new floors along with other improvements. The location is remote, making logistics a challenge that only adds extra costs to the store, so prices are rather high. However, the convenience is priceless.
I recommend others to drop by & check out Trading Post.Jul 13, 2023 -
I finally went in here after new ownership has taken the reigns, early June 2023. Thank the lord - it was a bit uncomfortable to go in there with the previous owner because he was so cranky. Anyway, not much has changed from what I see, but there are more rv/camping supplies which is nice. Deli is open 11-7 daily.

Updated review: New owner. He's great. Super friendly. Customer oriented. Immediately lowered gas prices to be competitive with the next closest gas station. Best doughnuts ever and their burgers are also delightful. He extended the hours as well which is pretty helpful. Defenetly should have updated my review sooner! Support this new guy, he's worth it.
Only place in CRR. Gas is expensive. Heck everything in there is expensive. The owner isnt very personable either. Only a 3 star because it provides for a needed service and midge and toni are super friendly.Jun 01, 2023 -
This place has been taken under new ownership and is doing awesome! They are open consistently with fresh house made doughnuts! Super convenient place to grab snacks alcoholic beverages pizza propane gas ect….

The change in ownership has proven to be very beneficial to Crooked River Ranch residents with a friendly atmosphere along with the Deli open 7 days a week. I recommend residents go to the Trading Post and welcome the new owners & order some food, support there effort to make the Trading Post a better establishment for all.

Great place to grab essentials when on the ranch. Little bit pricey but thats just how it is out here. Plus its worth it not to have to go into town.

Horrible ...RUDE ,rude ,rude ...if you dont mind over priced burnt pizza that you wait 45 min .for, served to you by the rudest group of old women then I guess this place is still not somewhere I'd ever go again....! Rude ...I will drive into town ....

Just bought hot dog buns and they felt dry. I looked at the date and it's the 15th but the price sticker is over the month so I look inside and it's AUGUST 15th. THESE BUNS ARE 86 DAYS PAST THEIR BEST BY DATE. EXTREMELY CROOKED AND DECEIVING.

Trading Post on there a lot of great great buys on sandwiches and pizza usually three times or four times as much great stuff on the pizza than any place I've ever seen employees are friendly it's a go-to place for lunch

EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!
I Bought 2 small bags of ships that are $1 each at any regular store. Also bought half gallon milk and 2 liters soda it all came out to 27$ !!! It should be way less than half of that.
I made a chargeback! That's insane. Never coming back here for any type of foods. These people are absolutely abusing others necessaries.Mar 27, 2019 -
Good place for a quick stop or to linger longer for a pizza. They sell non ethanol gas for small engines and classic cars.
Jan 08, 2019 -
Real good stuff inside home made. Angus burgers n pizza served by nice gals .cold stuff. Clear gas for Harleys. Stop by.

Everything is insanely priced. I bought a few food items and it came out to 40$. It was the most extensively priced convenience store I have ever been to. I expect convenience stores to be on the expensive side because you pay for the convenience... But this was ridiculous. 2 sodas, cranberry juice, individual small cereal pack, and a can of spaghetti O's. It came out to 40$. Ouch. I will remember this if we're ever out this way again. Bring food from home jeez.

This small gas station has been there for quite some time. I imagine much longer than the 10 years that I've been going there. It's always well stocked and has a pretty good selection. Some of the items in the store a little dated and the prices are a little high but your way out in the middle of nowhere so it's great to be able to get gasoline and a snack. They also sell propane and they also Carry non ethanol fuel which is hard to find around this area

For a small store they have a great selection. A fun place to take the grandkids for snacks, ice cream, slurpees, and they make a great pizza. They also have non-ethanol gas for my boat and lawnmower and propane.
