Jesse was a godsend. We were traveling southbound towing our rig when one of those infamous lights came on on the dash. We pulled in and he pulled out the reader to diagnose our problem and told us what we needed. Unfortunately he didn't have the time to help us but gave me an idea of what to do and that was solved later on the same day by another Oregon angel. He went way beyond just to see what he could do to help.

After a very long drive and multiple turbo hose blow offs we had the dreaded wrench symbol on the dash. Called and asked if they could do a code read on my truck and they did. Advised us to get OEM turbo hose and we did. Also said burn cycle did not finish (I think we turned the truck off too soon). Just wanted to know if it was safe to make our 7 hour drive home. They said nothing catastrophic showed up and went over everything that came up. We went to Coos Bay Ford and got a new turbo hose and drove home with no problems. Eased our minds and the wrench light never came back on. Thank you SO much! THE best people to work with! Would highly recommend them.

Earlier today I got a quite alarming "pull over immediately, check engine" warning from my car about 10 miles out of Gold Beach, and made my way to Gold Beach Automotive. So my husband has gone to Jesse for a few years so I felt really comfortable leaving my car. He's always done great work at a reasonable rate for him. I dropped off my car yesterday and he called this morning (even as backed up with work as he was) to tell me my car was done. It was a miss fire with a spark plug and the cost was less than what I thought. Needless to say I brought home my car and she's running like she was brand new. Thank you Jesse for the great fast and affordable work you do for our household.

Jesse is a rare man. He is direct. He didn’t waste a second of my time. He did the work with professionalism. We had unexpected delays, Jesse communicated quickly and gave me the bad news. It wasn’t his fault, it was a supply chain issue. Given that, he did what a professional does and let’s you know exactly what is at issue and what to expect and he did it in less than a 2 minute conversation. In a world full of incompetence, this guy is a gem of a mechanic. I scheduled more service when I picked up my 2012 F150. I was hesitant to post this because he has been able to work me in quickly and now all of you are going to clog-up his schedule. He is my mechanic in Oregon, now.

You want to talk about an Angel here on earth??? My husband and I broke down in Gold Beach,OR and Jesse saved us!!! We were still almost 800 miles from home. We had MAJOR brake issues! This man not only got the parts quickly; he went even further out of his way to fix our vehicle so we could get back on the road! Hands down the BEST MECHANIC and he DEFINITELY KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING!!! So traveler's if you break down and need repairs done Jesse is the man to call!!!!! Again we can't thank you enough!!! Had really squeaky and noisy front suspension on my Dodge 3500 dually. Jesse installed new upper A arms with ball joints and new lower ball joints. They were quite worn. Like new now! Very professional and knowledgeable car guy. Good rates and was done when promised. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you!!

I like to support local mechanics versus chain oil and lube places. For an oil change, filter replacement and tire rotation using full synthetic on a 2018 Tacoma, I was billed out $187.34. When I produced a card, I was told there was a 3% charge on credit card transaction. Final total was $192.96. I understand West Coast inflation but this was 2-3 times more than I've ever paid for standard service in my life on a vehicle. Nice enough guy and services were rendered as promised. Maybe this is a standard Oregonian rate? I'm relieved to be back home to my $65 service.

Our RV broke down while on vacation, and we so luckily ended up at Gold Beach Automotive. We are now safely home and proof that Jesse is a great mechanic. And in a desperate situation, where he could have price gauged us, Jesse proved an honest and trustworthy man. Thank You!!!

During our annual trip to Gold Beach, our golfcart hauler suffered some major structural damage. I met with Jesse who was very friendly and told me to email him some photos. Jesse got back to me quickly and scheduled me in the very next day. Jesse did an awesome job welding up the framework to get us back on the road for our 10 hour trip. Jesse installed a new starter on my 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. He completed the work quicker than I expected and was very reasonable on the cost of the repair. I highly recommend Gold Beach Automotive!

Needed assistance diagnosing some dash lights that came on as we were heading home from a camping trip in Gold Beach. We did not have an appointment. Jesse (sp?) did not hesitate to help. He quickly diagnosed the issue and gave us piece of mind that we could safely drive the 4 hours home. He was kind, friendly, and very professional. He took the time to explain what he thought the issue was and the options to fix it. Would definitely recommend.

A very attentive, professional and Straightforward mechanic. Checked the lowest tire for nails and rocks that could've been the reason for the tire pressure being too low and we left feeling very relieved. Long trip wasn't a worry anymore!

Jessie (the owner) is a honest, helpful guy! He helped us tremendously and we can't recommend his services enough. We first stopped at the Chevron in Gold Beach for a flat tire, and they were not helpful, as "boss was out" and wouldn't even let us borrow a socket wrench... Jessie to the rescue, assisted us changing the tire. What a great small town guy, we will always go to this shop if we are in the area and need anything.

Jessie was really great and very knowledgeable. My 2007 Subaru through a AT fluid temperature light on my way out of town to go home. I stopped at his place early Monday morning and he kindly just came out to take a look at it and did a quick evaluation and talked to me about options and answered my questions. Nothing he could really do for me short term but he alleviated my worries about driving it back to the Medford area. I offered him some money for his time and he absolutely refused. Great guy! I would highly recommend him and if I'm ever in town again and need some automotive work, I know where I'm going.

Gold Beach Auto helped me get home safe! My vehicle was shuttled and the driver broke my seat belt. It wouldn't retract. I was exhausted after a cold 4-day Wild and Scenic Rogue trip hiking my 2 year old. Moreover, I was nervous driving 4-5 hours home without a belt. This auto shop assured me to come by, even though they were almost closed. Then, fixed the belt without needing to get my exhausted toddler out. Incredible! We were on the road in less than 20 min. I highly recommend this shop. They will never know how tired I was that day, and how thankful I am that they got me on the road safe and quickly. Thank you, Gold Beach Auto!

My brother took a Family vacation from Medford to Gold Beach with a truck I purchased for him. The transfer case failed and stranded his family while there. No car rentals, so he rented a U Haul to return his family to Medford. Gold Beach Automotive took the truck in, coordinated with me to find and get a transfer case here in Portland. I shipped it down to the beach and it was installed. Phone calls were returned promptly, service was done on schedule, and overall professionalism was an experience Not found up here in PTown. People who take the extra time and go the extra mile are rare. If I need any major repair on my vehicles, I most definitely will get them down to the beach. Might just rent a hotel and enjoy the stay while I wait!!!

I'm from coos bay I was up in agness hunting when my wheel fell off due to extremely wore out ball joints, any how I got it towed from agness to gold beach so I could work on it, during attempting to fix it Jesse the owner/ tech stopped by out of the kindness of his heart and saved the day and got me rollin home. He really knew his stuff, and was very professional. Jesse is good dude who really cares and wants the best for ya which is a rarity now days I RECOMMEND GOLD BEACH AUTOMOTIVE!!!!

I was stuck on the side of the road five miles south of Gold Beach. My truck had serious radiator problems and I wasn't going to be able to make it home. Out of nowhere this guy rips through, stops instantly and pulls to the side of the road behind. He asked if I was okay and I asked if he had water, he said yes. He pulled out three or four bottles of water to dump in my radiator. He said he really had to go because his girlfriend had been in an accident. What kind of amazing person stops to help someone else while he's on the his way to help someone who's important to him? Just so you know and I will be doing business without a doubt. I wanted to leave this review because I was amazed at what kind of a person he is. I'm impressed and just by the caliber of his character I can tell you with certainty he's an excellent person to deal with.
