Jay is awesome!!! His business helps the community in so many ways. He's got his own scales and scrapyard. As well as a car crusher. Always has a wide range selections of vehicles for sale. Running & non running. Just got to get them while you can. The good ones always go quickly. Bring your scrap to him or he can arrange to pick up at your location.
Called said he would get on it never showed up for tow, will not call again. Needed tow at 11:30 ,from accident with deer. Was left 8 hrs. Before any tow service responded to me or my insurance company.
Called to have a truck towed from the location i bought it from to my house and the dispatch was very polite and between her and the driver the job was done within 2 hours of my call to schedule. Great speedy service
Worst experience I have ever had with a tow. The guy working with us confirmed that he was an hour from the tow location, so we agreed to meet him there within the hour. We ended up waiting almost 3 hours for him because he claimed he was told we were in a different location. Mind you, we had just spoke and confirmed the location of pickup and he had confirmed the location with AAA. After showing up to the location he tried to tell us that we gave him the wrong location so he had to turn back around, which took him longer. I immediately disagreed and he was VERY RUDE about it.
I don't recommend using this company what so ever.

We were stranded in the middle of nowhere, 5 miles in a dirt, rocky road in the snow in the middle of the night. This mountain man gave no hesitation, we would have froze. Thank you for saving the night
We had a breakdown some 20 miles out of Paulina on a gravel Forest Service road six miles from pavement. Literally middle of NOwhere, with no cell service. A local couple happened to be on a pleasure drive and stopped to help us. This is not a review of them, except to say they are angels! And drove us around until we found cell service and were able to call Dave’s for a tow. Dave’s is in Prineville, about 85 MILES! (and that’s the closest town with a tow service) from where we were stranded. It took them about 4 hours to get to us, but they loaded up and took us back to our camp to retrieve our camping gear, then returned to Prineville (another two hours) and dropped us off at a location that allowed us to make repairs the next morning. $480, which seemed OK for the kinds of roads and the time involved. Just one suggestion: we are 74 years old, but still able, but it would have been thoughtful and courteous if the 25-yr-old driver had at least offered to help us load our gear. Not his job, I know, but we would have appreciated the offer.
Car broke down in Madra and I needed a tow back to Clackamas. Dave's towing was quick and responses. My car was loaded up in no time and I was back in Clackamas in short order. Enjoyed the chatting with the tow truck Driver, Dave for a few hours. Always nice to meet a good human being.
We had Dave's Towing tow our vehicle after an accident in Prineville. First off they showed up over an hour after they were called (the tow yard was less than 2 miles away). Next, once we started dealing with the insurance company and notified them where the car was located when they contacted Dave's Towing they were told the company had no record of having the car. So then I call Dave's and get the fact they do have the car cleared up, and then they call us and ask us to come get all our items out of the car. We go to the tow yard to get our things (couple coats, kids backpack, my glass suction cell phone holder, receipts for the work we'd had done to the car, ice scraper, some ATF and some motor oil) we find that all our personal belongings as well as the stereo (Dual) and the rear 6x9 speakers (Polk) had all been removed from the car for us, and of course the tow company doesn't know anything about it. I'll add that they didn't even have the courtesy to lock our doors, they left the car unlocked and the key in the ignition. So either an employee stole our belongings, or someone scaled the 8 foot fence with barbed wire and it's not on the cameras. Reguardless, it's a crappy way to do business with someone's who's property you're responsible for.
To sum it up, DO NOT USE DAVE'S TOWING!!!! They are thieves. If you have no other option and you have to use them, REMOVE EVERYTHING from your car, or they will steal it, they are not to be trusted.
