Unhappy customer. Ross eather installed a broken part. Or installed it improperly. Resulting in several different problems. Causing considerable down time and great expense for me. Would not expect responsibility. So I do not recommend them.
None better. Extremely knowledgeable. Will take time for complete explanation of diagnosis and recommended repairs. Been doing business with RDA for many years for these reasons.
Let me preface this review by saying that I love my truck and I wanted it to be perfect and I’m very particular about keeping it in optimum operating condition. I got taken by a Russian ripoff artist when I bought the truck about a year and a half ago so there were many problems to address. I ran out of fuel twice and experienced a couple of other diesel repair shops that were not honest in the needs of the truck or pricing or simply we’re not able to figure out some ongoing issues. Finding Ross Diesel was a revelation and the work they did was reasonably priced and absolutely correct. They were able to find an oil leak issue that proved to be far simpler than the other shops diagnosed and pursued a transmission hard shifting problem that had eluded the other two shops. Broc and Teresa went beyond to get my truck back to a powerful and smooth-running workhorse again. They were professional and friendly and caring and I can’t say enough good about them. If you like fancy uniforms and a big shop full of expensive brand new trucks sitting on a shiny epoxy painted floor and you’re willing to pay for that and pay for repeated visits and work that was never needed in the first place then I’ve got just the spot for you but if you want straightforward work by a crew that knows exactly what they’re doing and will stick with the problem until it’s resolution then Ross Diesel and Auto Repair is absolutely the place you should go!
Brought my truck to them they told me I have a manifold leak. Thanks for fixing it quickly and treated me like good family. Very knowledgeable and reliable. My truck won't go anywhere but Ross Diesel. Thank again Shawn pence
I am the original owner of a 2002 Chevy Silverado Duramax diesel dually pickup truck, with only 126,000 mi on it. I use it to tow a $20,000 lb, 44 ft long fifth wheel toy hauler up and down the west coast, as my wife and I follow the sun. After wasting over $500 on worthless diagnostics done by a Chevy dealership in Ontario California, I brought my truck to Ross Diesel. It was obvious before I ride that I needed the diesel injectors replaced. Along with a few other minor things. Chevrolet and the other diesel mechanics in southern California would not take the time to discuss the intricacies of the project, nor answer questions, but they did want $11,000 to do the work. Ross diesel answered all my questions, explained the process, did the work in a timely manner, giving me an engine that runs like it's brand new. If that weren't enough, the bill was exactly half of what we would have paid down south. Needless to say, they will be doing our mechanical work going forward!
I read the reviews. I paid attention to the recommendations of friends and family. I took my F150 in for some work. You should too. RDA is the real deal. They fixed my truck, treated me fairly, and even straightened me out from some misinformation I had been given about my brakes. Well done, RDA, I'll be back.
RDA is my go to place for all my auto repair needs. It is awesome to have someone I can completely trust to leave my vehicle with knowing that they will repair it in a professional manner as well as explain to me what was needed and why. They have restored my 2000 Excursion 7.3 to a highly reliable state as I drive it cross country. They perform all the regular maintenance on my 2007 Dodge 6.7 Cummins as well. I often refer my friends!
Ross Diesel & Auto was recommended to me by my tow truck company. These guy's are the best!! I do not say that lightly either. They are honest and will never do work without talking to you about what needs to be done first. I used to get absolutely gouged by my local Dodge dealership. The tow service I use got sick of seeing it happen, so they said we are taking you to our guy. That's how it all began, and I have used Ross ever sense. They are VERY fair, and without a doubt, honest!
My experience was brief but enlightening. Instead of the major catastrophic failure I feared, it was quickly diagnosed as a super-simple, super-easy fix. Absolutely right on and I was saved a ton of money. It's been decades since that last happened to me at a car/truck shop, so these guys are suddenly now my absolute go-to-first choice for repairs!
